BB Cream -MISSHA - M Perfect Cover BB Cream

a great multi-tasking product. i use it on days where i need high SPF and can't be bothered buffing in my MUFE mat velvet + liquid foundation. applies easily with fingers, i apply it like a moisturizer. the scent is nice and gentle, not irritating to me at all. oil control is normal, i still have to blot during that day like i usually do. the coverage is sheer so it still looks like my skin i showing, so it looks natural (like i'm not wearing anything at all). initiall starts of slightly grey but will oxidize to match my skin tone (NC20-25). i recommended this to another 2 friends whom both have dry skin. they found that it suited them too, and asked me to purchase another 2 x 50ml tubes for them. i guess this suits both dry and oily skin too ^__^ will definitely repurchase this!

Blush -Smashbox - Blush Rush - Flush
mishtix 12/22/2010 9:18:00 PM
a very beautiful cool blueish toned pink...the most wearable blue pink i have found to date. i've had it for 4 months...i use it daily, it's my go-to colour at the moment, and i've hit pan already next to my nars orgasm, this is my next favourite blush. it looks glittery in the pan but not so on the face. it applies easily (very pigmented) and gives an almost satin finish on my cheeks the packaging is cute (it has a mirror u can slide out from the back) but i agree, the lid is very annoying. the groove to put ur nail in to wedge it open is so small, it's usually a struggle to open it...but all in all, i would purchase this again but only after i've gone through my other 10 blushes (unfortunately i am a hoarder)

Eyeliner -Stila - Kajal Eye Liner in Onyx
mishtix 12/22/2010 9:00:00 PM
i've used the MAC kohl eyeliner and it doesn't hold a candle to this stila kajal. when trying to rim the lower waterline, the MAC pencil ends up looking like a dark grey, whereas this one is a true intense black. yes it is on the creamier side (if u brush ur finger against it, it will transfer like u wouldn't believe), but it was designed that way to smudge easily and transfer on waterlines easily. i've never used this for the upper lash line, i find my bare escentuals buxom lashliner the best for this... in regards to application, i find that if i apply it directly onto my waterline throughout the night i will have black goop in the corners of my eyes. i think this is because it transfers too well and there's too much product with one swipe. the best way to apply this to the waterline is to draw / transfer some product onto the tip of a flat definer brush (i.e. MAC 212) and then use that to dab the product onto the waterlines. it applies just the right amount this way. it is still as black as ever but i don't end up having to pick black goop from my tear ducts.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - 131 Duo Fibre Powder & Blush Brush
mishtix 7/21/2010 11:11:00 PM
i rushed out and bought 3 of these brushes from the 'to the beach' collection, expecting to love it...but...it's not really that versatile, as with other MAC brushes. the only thing i use it for is with my MSF. i've tried it with my everyday blush (an estee lauder one) but it doesn't really pick up any product at all. perhaps i have to use it with a super duper pigmented blush, but i'm still disappointed that it doesn't work with ALL blushes. as for foundation, i always prefer to buff it in so my sigma SS197 is still the best for use with my MUFE mat velvet+. oh well, i'll still keep them (as i'm kind of a brush collector), but they will probably sit un-used next to my other MAC duo fibre brushes EDIT: this brush only works with highly pigmented blushes. used on my NARS orgasm or my smashbox blush rush in 'flush', it picks up just enough product and applied it very sheerly. also great for my MSFs. for average blushes, don't bother picking up this brush as you will forever be grinding the bristles into the product in the hope it will pick up enough colour to even show on ur cheeks

Eyeliner -Bare Escentuals - Buxom Lashliner -- Leatherette
mishtix 7/1/2010 8:58:00 AM
my lashes have always been ridiculously thin, sparse & stick straight (thanks to my mom cutting them when i was a baby in an attempt for them to grow longer & thicker...massive fail). i had trouble curling my lashes, as the curler always pinched my eyelid due to me needing to get in so close :*( so based on tiffanyd's review, i decided to use this. i've never been a daily makeup girl before, and this was literally my first time using a cream liner daily. it has been 6 months of almost daily use, and i swear i now have thicker & longer lashes! i used to get my lashes permed monthly, so my lash therapist would know my lashes better than even me right? even she can tell they're thicker & there's now more new growth...i mean even my husband can tell! i can now curl my lashes without the pinch, they are so healthy they actually stay curled! the price works out to be the same as RRP mac fluidline for me (i had to buy it off ebay, australia doesn't have it) so price is reasonable for me...i love this so much, it is my HG eyeliner. it's been 6 months of daily use, i'm only 1/3 of my way through it, & i've re-purchased another 2 as spares because i will be using this product for the rest of my life!
