Liquid -Chanel - Perfection Lumiere

I just recently received a full sized product thanks to my mum. I did try a sample before this. I like this foundation but i definitely don't love it. It's really good for 'on and off ' spectacle wearers like me. It doesn't leave a mark when you take your sunglasses/spectacles off (unlike Giorgio Armani's Luminous Silk). It doesn't get super oily which is a plus. The things that i don't like about this foundation is that it's a lil too matte for that 'natural look' they claim it's supposed to give. It's also a pretty thick consistency for a liquid foundation which makes it a tad harder to blend but that doesn't really bother me that much. (Wouldn't recommend this for people with dry skin.) The soul reason i'd repurchase this would be because it doesn't leave a mark.. If you took that away, i wouldn't repurchase it. Overall i would say nothing that spectacular about this foundation, it was just OK.

Liquid -Giorgio Armani - Luminous Silk Foundation

I have a love hate relationship with this foundation. Starting with the pros - It gives a really good buildable coverage and let me say this, boy does it photograph beautifully with/without flash! It's glowy in all the right places and like what the previous reviewer sad, it makes your skin look flawless. It goes on smoothly, and it's really natural if you match it well to your skin tone. Cons - If you wear spectacles like i do, this foundation leaves a mark when you take them off (like literally the whole frame shape) even when you set it with powder. It also does tend to get oily through the day. And the last con would be the most obvious one, the pricing. Overall i'd go back and try this foundation again, maybe a shade light because the one i've got now is a lil too pink for me (i've realised the point five shades are more of a pink undertone). But one of the main reason would be the fact that it photographs really really really beautifully. If you've got the money to splurge on this i would say give it a go, it's worth trying!

This blush is really perfect for an everyday natural look! Its a peachy pink colour and it has a really lovely smell to it! I'm pretty confident it'll look great on most skin tones! Def a must buy!

It's been two weeks since i got this mascara and so far its been great! I've tried different ways of using this mascara and the results are spectacular! Really lengthen's your lashes and it really makes your eyes POP! I've tried a couple of drugstore mascaras and so far none has lengthened my lashes this well! (I have it on right now and i can't stop looking at my lashes, :P) I usually curl my lashes but with this, i was surprised i could get away without curling it :O The only downside for me would be the price! It took me a while to get this.. and the reason I jumped to getting it was because i had a $15 voucher at Sephora! If i wanted to repurchase it for the full price, i would definitely be thinking twice. Though I'm pretty sure if i can't find a drugstore mascara that's close or slightly similar to this i'd definitely save up and repurchase it. I guess if you put it this way.. the fact that i can get away without curling my lashes - you get an eyelash curler + mascara all in one! so i would say its worth it :) UPDATE 12/02/2013 I realised that the formula tires my eyes, and it does feel a lil heavy.. I thought it was because i had a lack of sleep (which i did) but when i switched to another mascara (just for the fun of it) i realised it was the mascara. It's pretty disappointing, but i think it's something i could get used to. We will see.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast

I had really high hopes for this mascara from all the reviews on youtube and i must say i was pretty disappointed. If you're looking for a mascara to give you dramatic/thick/long lashes, do not even think of getting this! This formula is really light, it doesn't hold a curl and quite honestly it didn't lengthen my lashes that much. if you asked me, i couldn't notice that much of a difference having it on or not. I had the waterproof version but it did smudge pretty easily. So i was pretty wary with rubbing my eyes or even touching it a little. A few good things about it is the price, the fact that it doesn't clump that much and it doesn't make your eyelash 'crispy'. Although i didn't like it, that is just my opinion. But i would though, recommend it to those of you who are looking for a really lightweight mascara or if you already have crazy long lashes and you're looking for something to just darken them then this is for you!

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara

I got this mascara from the reviews here on MakeupAlley and i have to say that this mascara was pretty disappointing. When i first tried it out i was pretty impressed, it gave my lashes a soft and natural look. BUTTTT... It dried up pretty quickly compared to other mascaras that i tried. It was also a pain to get off. So if you're looking for a really really REALLY waterproof mascara, this is the one for you! I literally had to rub each eyelash using a cotton swab with lotion and would still wake up the next morning with little flakes of mascara on and around my eyes. If you're looking for a mascara to thicken or give you dramatic lashes, this is not for you. it was great while it lasted, but once it dried up.. .. .. :/
