Mascara -Jordana - Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara

Very quietly, this is the best drugstore mascara on the market. Please don't let the price fool you. It really darkens and elongates lashes, and it lasts all day without chipping. Not a problem to remove. However, best of all, it doesn't irritate my very sensitive eyes. A definite repurchase.
Liquid -Cover Girl - Queen Collection All Day Flawless 3-in-1

This foundation is truly wonderful. It is not overrated at all. Here's why: Pro's: Provides a beautiful, soft-matte, polished finish that lasts all day (10+ hours, seriously). Controls oil surprising well. (For my oily t-zone I needed only one quick powdering midday.) Does not feel heavy and it does not irritate my very acne-prone skin. Fantastic color selection. Under $10! Cons: Inconsistent numbering for darker skintones, which made finding the right match so frustrating!! Instead of having all the colors and their corresponding numbers range from lightest to darkest, they are mixed in. For example, Q825 Golden Honey has yellow/golden undertones, similar to Almond Glow, which is slightly darker with a coppery/bronze undertone. However, Almond Glow is labeled Q840 and there are other colors in between the two which are darker with different undertones. After some trial and error, here's what I found: NC50= Q825 Golden Honey exactly. GH may look somewhat lighter than expected in the bottle but it's not. It is a perfect match.
Primer/ Corrector -Kryolan - INVISIBLE MATT -matting cream transparent

This. stuff. sucks. and I am so disappointed. I expected so much better from Kryolan. It does absolutely nothing to control oil (t-zone) and seemed to even add shine.
I got this inexpensive gem in Orange for use as a corrector and it's great. I'm happy I found it.
Wow, this blush is NOT overrated! It really is beautiful and brown-girl friendly. Smokey yet multi-dimensional, it is that rare "dark" color that can be worn all year long. A definite repurchase.
Pro: Set my MAC powder foundation so that it lasted all day. Con: Gave my skin an instant and enduring shine (esp. in the t-zone area) that even my Ben Nye powders couldn't mitigate. Didn't feel moisturizing, just greasy. So disappointed!
Great product. Leaves skin soft and moisturized but a tad bit greasy, which is okay in rough weather imo. The fragrance is citrusy/orangey/medicinal but not bad and it doesn't linger. A definite repurchase.
Crème -Graftobian - High-Definition Glamour Color Creme Foundation

I never thought I'd say this about a foundation but this one is definitely amazing, HG etc.,etc. on my combination/normal skin. The reviews are accurate when they say that it provides skin-like yet medium-to full coverage that lasts 8-12 hours without any type of color change. They're also true when they say that it needs to be set with a primer or oil-control powder (I use Ben Nye powders) to prevent any issues (since cream foundations tend to be a bit more oily). HOWEVER, unlike many reviews I've read, I've found that it's easy to get a natural result from this product as the formula is so creamy and pigmented and responds well to a beauty sponge. For reference: NC50=Ginger. Ginger has lovely yellow/gold undertones and will give you that pop you'd expect from a quality foundation.
Moisturizers -Cetaphil - Cetaphil Derma Control Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30

Yes, it's greasy but oddly enough it absorbs well and is very moisturizing. No, it's isn't good under makeup but quite good as a night moisturizer, esp. after a glycolic treatment and the like. I have very acne prone skin and this hasn't irritated it at all.
I so wanted to love this product but it didn't work for me, and my skin isn't very oily. Its effect lasts about 2 hours top, whereas the random loose powders I've used last much longer. My drugstore pressed powders also performed better.

I really wanted to give this blush about a 3.8. It's not bad at all, just somewhat mediocre. On my skin (NC50) it showed and wore very nicely (not too overpowering, long-lasting) BUT I wasn't wowed by its browny-rosey color like I was by Ambering Rose. It's not because it's a powder as opposed to a sheertone like AR; it's just that it's the kind of color you can find a drugstore dupe for very easily. I found one in the NYX.
Blush -MAC - Sheertone Shimmer Blush - Ambering Rose

I love this blush. It does what a blush should- leaving a beautiful, healthy glow to my skin (NC50) and it lasts all day. One of the best from MAC.
I like to give new products a chance͵ so I tried this pretty pink product several times before throwing in the towel. It BURNS like the cheapest, crappiest product on the market. So disappointed.
Another great powder from BN. This one also controls oil effectively without ashiness. In addition, it can be worn alone or over foundation quite nicely. For reference: slightly dark for a NC50 but wearable. Good for balancing out a slightly lighter foundation or tinted moisturizer.
