Toners -Michael Todd True Organics - Cranberry Antiox Toner

Pros: generous size, moisturizing, gentle. Cons: super strong fragrance. It feels like I am putting perfume on my face. I don't understand why an "organic" product contains so much fragrance.
Treatments -Michael Todd True Organics - Knu Anti-aging Face Lift

I found many fake reviews on other sites about this product that made this cream seem like a miracle. Indeed it is not. Luckily I didn't pay full price ($150). I found it on groupon for $25 and thought it was such a good deal so I bought two. I started using it around Christmas time and it is really not moisturizing enough for cold winter months in Boston (I have combination skin). It actually makes my skin dry as if it sucks moisture out of my skin in order to achieve that temporary tighten feel. I've been using it for 2 months, and as far as face lift and anti-wrinkle -- this cream hasn't made any difference to my skin so far. I don't think it product worth $150. I will not buy again. By the way, just like the other reviewer, I posted a 3 star rating and review on the company's website but it was never posted. How can consumers trust their products if the company does business in a dishonest way?
Masks -Borghese - Fango Active Mud for sensitive/ dry skin
minjing319 5/6/2013 11:03:00 PM
The jar looks very nice and the mud has a refreshing herbal smell. However it doesn't do anything to my skin -- doesn't moisturize or deep clean. My skin look and feel the same before and after. I will continue to use because it's expensive. I want to try the green mud next time.
Good product but it's more suitable for dry skin. I have combo skin and it doesn't clean well enough for me. It feels very smooth put I massage it on. It doesn't foam up and leaves behind a film on my skin -- not too greasy though compared to some other cream cleanser. I am just used to fel cleanser so I don't think this product is for me. It may work well with people with sentive and/or dry skin.
Besides the Basis facial cleanser, this Clinique liquid soap is another of my all time favorite. I love it's nutural scent -- yes it has a scent although it's fragrance free). For some reason I just love the natural scent (or masking fragrance) in "fragrance free" products. It's there but it's not there. lol. I always prefer gel cleanser because they clean better than cream cleanser. This gel cleanser does its job without drying out my skin. It's under $20 which is not bad for a department store product. Oh, the pump bottle is of good quality and looks very nice, and green is my favorite color (the Basis gel cleanser is also green). Love it!
Moisturizers -Bliss Labs - The youth as we know it

I won this cream from a sweepstake. It has a very nice and refreshing smell which I like. It feels smooth when I first put it on the skin, but after massaging for 3 seconds it starts to bead up and come off my skin! First I thought I use too much, or it's because I use it after applying serum, but then even when I use only a tiny bit on a clean face it still beads up. It's a waste if it doesn't stay on my skin and doesn't get absored. It's a waste. Now instead of rubing or massaging it into the skin, I gently pat and press it on the skin. I feel like I have to be so careful, it's annoying.
Moisturizers -Philosophy - Hope in a Jar - for all skin types

Many people complain about the smell of this prodcut. I personally don't think it's that bad. It has some herbal or medicated scent but not overwhelming, and it goes away after a little while. I kind of like products that have a natural scent than ones that are masked with strong fragrance. So its scent doesn't bother me at all. This moisturizer has the texture of a whim cream, very light and smooth. It's absorbed quickly by the skin. Not greasy and has the right amount of hydration for my combination/oily but dehydrated skin. I just started using it and can't comment on its anti-aging result. But my feeling is that it's more like a luxury version of basic moisturizer. It moisturizes well, doesn't harm the skin, but don't expect it'll rescue you from all those fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots. I like it enough to want to continue using it, but I probably won't buy it again because of the high price ($39 for 1.7 oz).
I am not a big fan of the Clinique skincare products but I like most Clinique cosmetics. light weight, good medium coverage, non-greasy, doesn't cause breakout, natural finish, non-cacky. I especially like the small plastic bottle with squeeze tip, it's easy to carry and prevents bateria from getting into the bottle. it isn't very pricy compared to other department store foundation ( such as Lancome or Estee Lauder)
I have fine lines on my forehead and the skin on the sides of my nose started to get a little bit saggy. I was expecting this moisturizer would help to boost the collagen and firm these areas. After using two tubes of this product, twice daily on most days, I see no results. I am a little disappointed. Not sure if I need to try it for longer to see the results. However I will continue to use it because it moisturizes well and it's not greasy. I got this at a discounted price from Marshall's.
It is stronger than other brands sold in drug stores (e.g: Biore). It can be a little hard to peel because it adheres well on the skin (I actually tore a tiny bit of the skin on the side of my nose for peeling it too fast, OUCH!). It did get a few blackheads out but not everything. The second time I used it on my cheeks where I have large pores and blackheads. It didn't work as well because the blackheads sit deeper inside the pores. I will try again next time and see how it works.
I have combination/dehydrated/oily skin. This product is hydrating but a bit too thick and oily for me. It has meduim coverage and does brighten up my skin after i put it on (the shade is a bit lighter than my natual light Asian skin tone). If I don't put powder on top of it my face will look shiny in 30 minutes. In summer time I don't like to use too many products on my face and I am looking for a one-step product that's light, non-greasy, hydrating, with medium coverage and high sun protection. This BB cream only meets half of my requirements. I bought it based on many good reviews and hoped it works like a "magic cream" as what's advertised, honestly this's like a tinted moisturizer and I don't see "magic" in it.
Treatments (Eye) -StriVectin - SD Eye Concentrate for Wrinkles
minjing319 6/15/2012 3:41:00 PM
I've been using this eye cream along with the Strivectin SD facial moisturizer. Both products hydrate well when I put them on. They are easy to spread and the texture is smooth. But as far as long term effects I haven't seen any, and I've been using it for almost two months. I will try it for a little longer to see if my skin get any visible improvement. If not I probably won't buy it again, unless I get a good price when it's on sale.
I used this product 10 years ago when I was in college. I have combination skin and was sometimes oily. The moisturizer was a little too greasy for me so I used it mostly at night. Now 10 years later, my combination skin has become drier especially on the forehead and under the eyes. This moisturizer is more suitable for my skin now. My advice: If you are young (under 25) and have combination or oily skin, this product may not the be best for you, but if you are older and have drier skin, then this work great as a basic moisturizer.
I see Misha BB Cream for sale on ebay for around $9, but some other websites sell it for $30. Are the ones sold on ebay fake? I wonder how much they normally cost in Korea. Anyone knows? I have a friend who is going to visit Korea this summer and I want to ask him to help me buy one.
Love this foundation. It was on sale and I had a $3 coupon, so at the end I only paid $1.5 for it!! The shade I bought was 230 and it maches my skin tone perfectly. If you like the Shiseido The Makeup foundation, then you'll like this product -- they have similar coverage and texture. After applying the foundation, my skin looks radiant. It has a good medium coverage and doesn't make me look I am wearing a mask. I also like that it has SPF15 -- I don't think the dime size amount I use is enough to achive SPF15, but at least it provides some additional coverage to my SPF facial moisturizer. The foundation has a very light fragrance, so light that it's almost un-noticable, which is not a bad thing to me, since I am sensitive to scents and strong fragrance often makes me feel sick. This foundation is cheap but works as well as a $40 department store product.
