This product is amazing - when first applied. It's smooth, is super duper opaque, it doesn't irritate or dry out your lips, it doesn't have any weird annoying smell, it stays for quite a while and there's a noticable stain even after u're done eating. But it bleeds, after around 2 - 3 hours, especially if you wear a strong color like Strength, the bleeding lip color is even more obvious. Also, it transfer immediately, and a lot, to whatever your lips may touch. This lipstick is beautiful, but it its not practical for daily use. I wouldnt recommend this.
Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Strawberry Sorbet

There is something very wrong about this lip particular lip balm. Whenever I apply this on, I immediate feel something tingling my lips, and it's not a nice feeling at all. The product does not do a very good job in moisturizing, it only seems to irritate my lips. For the performance, the price is too high, in my opinion. You can find several other lip balms that perform wayyyy better at the same or lower price.
Lip Treatments -Blistex - Complete Moisture Lip Balm
minhchau88 9/21/2012 2:52:00 AM
In short, this lip balm is the most moisturizing, fast-acting, and lightweight I have ever tried. I've been trying a number of difference lip-balms, -moisturizers, -cream, etc., so far Blistex Complete Moisture is the best one, hands down! I adore this !!!! I am the type of person who cannot manage without lip balms - or anything that keeps my lips super moist and hydrated. My lips are so sensitive, they get dried out extremely quickly. The product claims to "deliver a super-moisturizing effect you'll feel immediately" - and it DOES. Right after putting the balm on, you will feel the moisture surge immediately. And it soothes irritated lips as well. Oh and this one has SPF and is super cheap, too!!!
I just got this Hello Kitty lip treatment as a gift from my friend. Gosh, I have never fancied anything Hello Kitty, but since it's from my best friend I just need to use it and not give it to someone else. What a lovely surprise !!!! :) This lip balm is different from all others I've used (Lancome, Clinique, TheBodyShop, etc.) and actually works best. Below is a quick breakdown of the product: - Texture: gel, but extremely creamy, goes on like a dream, thicker than the Clinique but thinner than TheBodyShop ones, in general the best texture a lip balm can be!!! Maybe a little bit more description would be helpful for you to imagine how the texture is like: Normally for lip balms, if we pick the balm up by our fingers, only a fairly thin layer of the balm sticks to our finger. However for this on, the creamy gel texture makes the balm kind of sticks together and when I picked up using my finger, a lot of balm was taken out of the pot, not just a thin layer as normal. - Color: semi opaque, on my lips it does not look as coral as in the pot, but more natural pink, kind of "my lips but better and healthier" - Finish: slightly glossy, not at all greasy, non sticky - Does what it claims? Yes, especially when it comes to moisturizing and softening my lips. I haven't been using this long enough to tell whether it's long-lasting, but it moisturizes my lips literally immediately, giving them a very pleasant feel. This one works better for me than all other lip balms I have ever used (that's why I have to jump on here to write a review, which rarely happens) - Price: 9$ (I checked on Sephora) - for a quality product like this, I think 9 is actually a very good price, I give 3 for price just because not many lip balms in the market are priced at 9$ - Packaging: cute, but not very convenient. The lid is not very/always easy to take off, partly because the material (not very expensive plastic) I think Overall this is a great product, one of the best lip balms I've ever used. Highly recommend !!!!
I have this in Black from the limited edition collection Style Black. What I love about this is the texture and what it does for other colors to be applied on top of this cream base. The texture is not too sticky, but enough to keep colors, also very light weighted. Any color on this base just pop, I use this especially for mineral eye shadows. The color pay off is fantastic !!! However, this creases. Not a whole lot for me, but it does. And for MAC, I do not expect any creasing whatsoever, and this is pretty unacceptable for professional make up products. Using a base may help. But when you don't really have time and just use it alone w/o any eye primer, it does crease.
I have this one in 166 Temptation. Quick takes about the product: - highly pigmented - very very smooth and creamy - similar finish to MAC creamsheen - color: deep, glamorous red, works awesome for either a Hollywood or a Pirate look (I just used this for several Halloween looks). Compared to MAC Brave red: Temptation is deeper and richer, feels more reddish, MAC Brave red when standing next to Temptation feels a little bit more fuchsia. - medium staying power - lasts 5-7 hrs (the high staying power I mean for more than half a day, like those by MAC) - goes great with Rimmel Exaggerate lip liner 024 Red Diva I would say this is the best drugstore lipstick I've ever had my hands on. So far no Rimmel product has ever disappointed me, all have good quality and deliver great results.

I decided to buy this products after reading your reviews here. And yes, I agree that this is a truly great product. I have mine in 024 Red Diva (Full color lip liner) and 034 Mocha (full color lip liner definer). One is a cool tone red (not deep, not bright) and the other is a mocha/chocolate shade. I use the Red diva with Rimmel lasting finish lipstick 166 Temptation or MAC Brave Red. The Mocha is used with MAC Film Noir (very very deep brown. Mocha is a lot lighter, I only use it as a base to keep the lipstick). The two lip liners both slide on my lips pretty well, do not dry out, and keep my lipstick locked. They can also be used alone as lip colors. Also, very long wearing. Overall a great buy. (in my experiences, no Rimmel product has ever failed to deliver)
Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Eye Enhancers Quad - Urban Basics
minhchau88 11/4/2009 3:48:00 AM
Overall this is a bad product. I have two eye shadow palettes by Covergirl, this one and the Tropical fusion. Compared to the other one, this Urban Basics palette is totally disappointing !!!! Pigmentation is okay, but color payoff is really really a turn off, you can hardly see the shimmering champagne (second from right) at all, except for the small glitters. Maybe the most useful shade is the matte ivory one (outer right) for highlighting. The color combination is also a thumb down. These colors just do not go well together. They make your eyes look so damn tired, does not brighten or gives an "urban" feel at all. Do not recommend this product for anyone. (btw, the product looks similar to the image in Target.com; the image in Drugstore.com is much much darker than the real product)
Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Eye Enhancers Quad - Tropical Fusion

Overall a great drugstore product that's worth your money. I really like the combination of colors as well as the pigmentation of each. The outer left blue and outer right lime make good substitutes for NARS Rated R. The NARS duo one is smoother, but in terms of pigmentation and color payoff, this Covergirl Tropical Fusion palette does a much better job. For a fun look, you can use the blue and the teal/green/emerald for the lids, with the lime in the eye corners, and the coral/copper for the crease. The coral/copper shade is also totally wearable itself and makes a nice blush, too! I would recommend this product for those love colors and want a more affordable substitute for NARS Rated R. *** I ALWAYS carry this palette with me on tropical holidays !!!!
Overall this is just an okay product, another drugstore pressed powder. The product offers very sheer coverage (to none) and helps mattifying the face. Mine is buff beige (foundation W3 nude beige True Match), so it does a bit in brightening the face as well. I do not like the smell of this product at all, but many of my friends do. For me it just feels kind of cheap. I would recommend this product for those on a budget who need a daily shine control and mattifying pressed powder to set your make up and is portable. Also, you should have pretty good skin to make use of this product. Otherwise, you will definitely hate it, especially if you're looking for something that gives medium to full coverage.
I have this product in Black, Metal, SIlver, and Khaki Electro. I use the Black one the most. I often use the Black and the Khaki to line my eyes, sometimes use them to shadow my eyes when I'm in a rush. The Metal and Khaki are mostly use to highlight the inner corners of my eyes, sometimes used together with another dark eyeliner (I draw 2 lines in 2 different colors, one above the other - the result is amazing, your eyes will pop, and it takes less then 1 min to get it done). I absolutely love the shades and it's versatile uses, however one down side is that it smudges - totally agree with the previous reviews. Even with an eye primer, it will smudge if you use the eye liner alone. There's one way to fix this, use another waterproof, or crease-proof liner as a base, then apply this on top. I do this with the Black Electro, using MAC Black greasepaint stick as the base. I want to glitters from the Electro eyeliner, so I do it this way. About the colors: - Black Electro: black with silver glitter (not too much, but enough to make your eyes pop) - Khaki: dark green with glitter - Silver: Icy silver, frost finish - Metal: pewter base with metallic finish and glitter
Styling Products -Garnier - Fructis Sleek and Shine Weightless Anti-Frizz Serum
minhchau88 10/24/2009 9:35:00 PM
Overall this is a really useful and affordable product. The serum helps to keep my hair smooth, sleek, and shiny. It's also very simple to use, very fast. Another plus is the lovely smell. What I don't like about the packaging is that it is inconvenient to bring it with you when travelling. There is no cap or any protecting thing to make sure that the serum is not going to be accidentally spilt out.
Mascara -Christian Dior - Diorshow Black Out Mascara
minhchau88 10/24/2009 6:44:00 PM
Before I tried this one, my most fav. mascara is the Lancome Definicils. But now this is my go to mascara, especially when I go out. The mascara definitely gives lots of volume, length, and curl. Very few mascara can deliver all those 3 functions. I always look like wearing fake eyelashes whenever I use this product. And if you are familiar to using mascara or this product, one coat is enough to give drama to your eyes !!!! 2 coats would be like oh my godness, la la laashes !!!!! However, compared to the Lancome Definicils, this one does not separate the lashes as well; so we have to be a little careful with the Diorshow, or it's gonna get your lashes clumped together. I would recommend this mascara for those who want dramatic, bold eyelashes. This is not very suitable for daily wear, or when you want a natural look.
Crème -Bobbi Brown - moisturizing cream compact [DISCONTINUED]
minhchau88 10/24/2009 6:38:00 PM
I got a sample of this foundation (in beige) with my purchase, and oh my God I totally fell in love with this product. However, I don't use it as foundation, but as a concealer. My skin is almost flawless in texture, except for some redness around the nose, and that's where I use this product for. I would say that the foundation definitely delivers excellent result. It gives great coverage and is very light weight. I also like the packaging and the fact that it's a creme foundation. This makes it very easy to take the right amount of the product, and very convenient for travel - no liquid, and the flat case makes it fit into any purse or clutch when you need to go out (this is a plus plus plus !!!!). About the moisturizing part, I'm not very sure since I don't see any considerable result of this. However I always moisture my face using other product, so I don't really care if the foundation has the moisturizing effect or not. It does not dry my skin out, though. I would recommend this product for those who need medium to full coverage foundation that can be carried with you anytime.
