This stuff is like magic! I literally need almost no other skin care items when I use it regularly, which is a good thing, because it's hella expensive. Totally worth it, though. Keeps my acne-prone skin clear, smooth, and moisturized like nothing else.

Nice, light moisturizer ~ unfortunately doesn't work for my acne-prone, oily skin, even though it's supposed to be formulated for that. My skin reacts to weird things, though.

This is a nice, gentle, unscented cream, but it's a bit too heavy to use 2X daily on my oily, acne-prone skin. However, the extended nozzle on the tube dispenser is really neat, and it's a good price for the product. Probably would work really well for someone with fairly dry skin.

I am so depressed that this product has been discontinued. It was the absolute bomb -- left my strong oily skin looking fresh and dewy, didn't make me break out, and actually felt *soothing* despite the high concentration of AHA/BHA. Sadly, Camocare has been bought by Nature's Way, who has reformulated all their products, and completely eliminated this one. Sob! The search for a replacement begins...

This stuff is way too expensive for what it does... it works, but almost $30 for a 2 oz bottle puts it out of my league. It would have to *actually* resurface my skin to make it worth it, and it doesn't do that, even at 3X a week. It *does* exfoliate, it's just not the miraculous product I wish it were (and which the name and price suggest)...

This is a nice, light moisturizer that doesn't make me break out (I have very acne-prone skin, which makes finding a good moisturizer challenging). It doesn't feel greasy, and seems to absorb well. It's great for me for those days when my skin is feeling really sensitive but needs a bit of hydration.

I really wish this stuff wasn't so pricey, because I feel like I have tried literally every salicylic acid product on the market, and nothing works as well as this one for my skin. It is the perfect combination of light moisturizer and BHA. When I use it regularly, my skin just does NOT break out, at all. I'm surprised because it works better than the higher BHA concentration products I have used, even Paula's 2% BHA formulas, which tend to leave my skin a bit oily. I guess I'll just have to sell my soul so that I can continue to buy it...

I appreciate that these pads are alcohol-free. My face felt nice and clean after using, without getting that greasy rebound that happens after using an alcohol-containing product. However, it didn't seem to help very much with controlling my break-outs, and it has a really strong fragrance that I don't like. So I've gone back to my more expensive (sigh) product.

Shampoo -Aveda - Invati Exfoliating Shampoo

Like all Aveda products, this one smells absolutely wonderful, and I was excited to find a salicylic acid shampoo that was "clean." Unfortunately, it didn't do a thing for my hair or scalp that plain old drugstore shampoo didn't do. The sales pitch is that you have to use it with the RIDICULOUSLY overpriced scalp treatment to get the benefit, but there is no way I'm paying $75 for some juice to put in my hair. If the price goes down I might try it, but it's going to have to go down a LOT.

Cleansers -Zapzyt - Acne Wash Treatment

I really wanted this to work. It's very difficult to find an unscented, "clean" formula of 2% salicylic acid that works on my skin -- unfortunately, this wasn't the one. It's a nice cleanser with good ingredients, just didn't do the trick for my acne-prone skin.

I really wish this stuff worked for me, it is such a good deal! Unfortunately, it wasn't strong enough, and didn't do much to clear my skin. However, it led me to discover their moisturizer, which I love, so it was worth it.

I used to refer to the Beautypedia pretty regularly, but lately it seems like it's gotten less broad in the number and types of products it reviews. I have to think that it's part of Paula's marketing not to review any products less expensive than hers -- that's what it seems like. Still, it's a good resource for looking up mainstream product ingredients and high-end stuff.

I like the liquid consistency, and it works OK at keeping my skin clear, but it leaves my face feeling a bit sticky and greasy. Oddly enough, Paula's 1% lotion is actually more effective for my skin. Go figure.

I love this moisturizer. It's very light and absorbs quickly without leaving a residue. However, it does tend to make my face break out -- maybe it's the jojoba oil? I know the advertising says it doesn't case break-outs, but it did for me, so YMMV. However, I do still like it for a body lotion and it doesn't cause problems for me there.
