Mascara -Revlon - Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara

I bought Revlon's Grow luscious mascara to test out growing my lashes. Did it work for me? Nope! But.. the Blackest Black version of this mascara gave off a nice color. The mascara leand more towards the volume side as opposed to lengthening and tends to smudges easily as you try to apply the mascara on. The green packaging is kind of pretty, and that's about it..

Mascara -Rimmel - Lash Accelerator

I bought Rimmel's Lash Accelerator to try out some cheap lash growth mascaras! Unfortunately, my asian lashes did NOT experience any lash growth after a month's worth of using the mascara. However, all is not lost because I find that the wet formula of the Lash Accelerator mascara paints the upper crease below the eyelids very, very nicely ;-) You just need a lash brush and you need to wipe some of the product on the lash brush. Then wiggle the brush where the crease is and you get a lovely, darkening effect to compliment your eyes and whatever else mascara you use! I would buy Rimmel's Lash Accelerator mascara again JUST for crease darkening purposes.

Mascara -Sephora - Advanced Lash Booster

I came across Sephora's Advanced Lash Booster mascara to explore growth mascaras. Within 3 days of purchasing the mascara, there were already clumps on my lashes when I applied the mascara for a second layer. The product is a bit of a gooey substance as opposed to being a wet mascara or a really dry one. I do not recommend using the mascara after three days. I can't even be content enough to stick with the mascara for 30 days to wait to see if there are any signs of lash growth. It's not worth it and the mascara is slightly below average in quality. I'm really disappointed.

Mascara -Physicians Formula - Organic Wear Jumbo Lash Mascara

Physicians Formula Organic Wear Jumbo Lash mascara is pricey compared to its performance. I've used this mascara for a month and I wouldn't recommend it. This mascara flakes and there's barely any product in the bottle! I pitied myself after I bought this mascara because it clumps too.. The mascara does not stay true to its name. Don't be overly persuaded by greenwashing! There are WAY better healthy mascaras out there that do the legwork! Keep looking!

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous mascara

L'Oreal's Voluminous mascara is beauty. It has capabilities to hold a curl, as well as volumize just like you dreamed! Plus it doesnt clump and stays perfectly put. I swear you could multiple layer your lashes and you'll just look gorgeous. Period. At first there's a lot of product in the mascara, but after a couple of days, the mascara product amount is just perfect. Be patient and you will look glam soon!

Mascara -Prestige - Lash Matrix in Black

Prestige's Lash Matrix mascara is an mascara that is unique in its own ways. The mascara smells so lovely its perfume ingredient should be regarded as bad because it just smells SO good. As for abilities, this mascara lasts 2 weeks tops if you like to wear mascara everyday. I'd recommend Prestige's Lash Matrix mascara as a bottom lashes mascara ultimately as the mascara is super skilled in that category for volumizing and defining your eyes. You'll totally look like you have doll eyes afterwards!

Mascara -Marcelle - Lash Extreme Mascara

Marcelle's Lash Extreme mascara is a very nicely packaged mascara . The mascara comes in as a thin tube. In terms of performance, the mascara lengthens at a mediocre level. I used to love lengthening mascaras, so I'm not super impressed. I'd recommend this mascara for anyone who has naturally long lashes who just want a thin sweep of mascara ;-)

Revlon's DoubleTwist mascara is a mascara which is supposed to volumize your lashes. I found that the mascara would dry quickly up so you would have to pump the wand back in and out for more product.. The mascara can't last more than 2 weeks if you're an avid mascara devotee. The mascara has a good color of black but the mascara flakes very easily. As for volumizing, it's pretty good and layerable but clumps easily. Like I swore that when I bought a different mascara at the beauty counter, the saleslady was suggesting a mascara remover to me because of the unfortunate results I got from the DoubleTwist mascara!

Mascara -Maybelline - Pulse Perfection Waterproof [DISCONTINUED]

I was surprised to find a mascara that lengthens my lashes so much! Maybelline did a very good job with the Pulse Perfection Vibrating mascara. This has GOT TO BE the uberly FASTEST way to get those lashes long! It takes about 2 layers of mascara max. before it clumps due to the formula. The only thing I didn't like about Maybelline's Pulse Perfection in waterproof was the waterproof effects.. it sort of smudges over the waterline when exposed to a rainfall of water. I would definitely try this in original next time and maybe just use the mascara at the upper lashes only if I were to use waterproof. Soooo fun and pretty! Takes about a month till the formula dries up if you wear mascara often. I think this mascara is mercury-free too!

Why is it that I never am pleased with mascaras carried by Sephora? Anyway, Too Faced Lashgasm mascara is so disappointing. I thought a mascara with a name like that would surprise people in a good way. You get zero volumizing or fluffed up lashes. At least the packaging is decent.

Stila's Glamoureyes Mascara is a bit err on the average side. Considering the performance of this mascara, the mascara should be a lot cheaper than it is now. The only good thing about this mascara is that it is a pretty healthy mascara in terms of its ingredients. If only I could get the falsies look it claims to give...

Mascara -Giorgio Armani - Eyes to Kill

I tried Giorgio Armani's Eyes To Kill mascara in hopes to get crazy results. Unfortunately, after trying out this mascara, I was a bit let down.. it must be the sultry asvertising of Ms. Fox that widened the popularity of this mascara. I've actually had experience with much more sexier eyelash results. The Eyes To Kill mascara is more of a natural look- not very dramatic, nor lengthening or volumizing. Anyway, Armani is still hot and so is Ms. Fox!

Eyeliner -Kat Von D - Autograph Eyeliner - Immortal Love

Kat Von D's Autograph Pencil in Immortal Love is a brown eyeliner pencil supposedly able to withstand water. However, I found no lasting impression with this eyeliner in particular. The eyeliner is extreme. I recommend Kat Von D's Autograph Pencil for those who like very dramatically dark colors.. Even though the eyeliner color is a brown, it could have easily been mistaken for a black. It's not waterproof enough either.

Eyeliner -MAC - Powerpoint Eye Pencil in Stubborn Brown

MAC Cosmetics' Powerpoint Eye Pencil in Stubbron Brown was quite impressive at first- the color and texture was matte, smooth and held a greyish tint of brown. However, the reason why I chose to try out this eye pencil in the first place was for WP reasons. Although everything was ALMOST perfect, MAC Cosmetic's Powerpoint Eye Pencil was not waterproof enough to be used against water... The result of the eye pencil left a raccoon look equivalent to drugstore liners.

Mascara -Yves Saint Laurent - Mascara Singulier Nuit Blanche (waterproof) - Vibrant Black

I've tried Yves Saint Laurent's Singulier Waterproof mascara in Vibrant Black in attempts to explore which mascaras could possibly make it through permanently in my makeup bag for decades. In particular, I was looking for WATERPROOF mascaras for this beach season. I can honestly say that after using maybe a (renewed?) version of this mascara in waterproof, I am glad I didn't waste my time. After a shower, this mascara proves to withstand water for the day. Your lashes are then soft, and if *you* had curled your lashes before, Yves Saint Laurent's Singulier Waterproof mascara would've withheld that curl. The color goes on a bit err on the dark side, but the lash performance comes out quite defined. All in all, I would get the waterproof one rather than the regular. This is my HG natural mascara for waterproof purposes!
