Great shimmer powder. I bought the versatile "Lust" champagne beige color. Great for cheeks, decolletŽ and anywhere else. Beauty Tip: Bring out the inner artist in youÑmix a little of the powder with your fav lip glosses or hair gels (washes out) for extra oomph and glamour!

Lipstick -Clinique - Colour Surge Butter Shine Lipstick

Great lipstick! The name drew me to purchase this product "BUTTER SHINE" (great marketing) plus a bonus sample in the issue of Lucky (I think November) of "Perfect Plum". I'm drawn to anything that is buttery, creamy, smooth, soft and glossy on lips. This formula is gel-like: comfortable, moist, high shine. I purchased "DeLovely" and "Berry Blush". Great colors. The lady at the counter said the lipsticks were selling out and no wonder. I'd like to get "Praline", "1st Love" and "Perfect Plum". The packaging it comes in is an interesting design tooÑhigh-reflective silver in a bamboo-shaped cylinder. Beauty Tip: line your lips, apply butter shine and add Too Faced "White" diamond lip gloss for maximum oopmh and glamour!!

Mascara -Maybelline - XXL volume+length microfiber mascara

I like the XXL waterproof formula mascara. I usually detest the "primer and mascara in a tube" because I tried the Loreal version and it did nothing for my lashes, but this one does. For me, it's a good, low-priced alternative to the high-priced Lancome Definicils. To get the maximum effect, curl your lashes then apply the primer and mascara. I use "Very Black". It makes my lashes really long. For the regular XXL, the packaging claims up to 4x the volume whereas the new Intense XXL is up to 10x the volume. I have the Intense XXL mascara but haven't tried it yet.

Lip Gloss -Too Faced - diamond gloss

I agree with Divafx...I noticed right off the bat that it looked just like my Lancome Star Gloss but with way more glitter. What sold me on it was the scent-vanilla. Generous tube size. Even though it doesn't have any flavor ‡ la the Dessert line, it's a pleasure to put on and has become one of my favorite all around lip glosses for maximum oomph and glamour. I bought the "white" gloss since I think it's the most versatile shade to have. It works on top of any lipcolor. Doesn't last long but it lasts a lot longer than the Dessert glosses which are really meant to licked or kissed off repeatedly.

Mascara -Bourjois - Glossy Wet-Look Mascara Top Coat

I wholeheartedly agree with gatinha321. I bought this along with the green and blue top coats. It's meant to be used on top of your mascara as an added effect ("wet look"). For me, this wet look elongates my lower lashes. You only need to use a little. The applicator works fine but when I tested it in the store, I used their mascara wand testers which worked well. This opens up your eyes and it's inexpensive. I love the concept of how it attaches to the Pump up the Volume mascara—very cute!

Lotions/ Creams -Nivea - Nivea Soft Moisturizing Creme

I was thrilled to see this in the store. It is my favorite Nivea product mostly because of the scent and souffle-like texture. The scent is european. What I mean is after travelling to Europe several times, I noticed a big difference in product scents and textures. What's marketed over there isn't usually sold here. What's manufactured here has a noticiably different scent. This product has that "european" scent which is fresh and fabulous. I know to some this may not make any sense but if you ever go to Paris, visit Monoprix, YR, BHV or Sephora and you'll notice.

Palettes -Smashbox - smashing impression palette

My boyfriend bought me this after I hinted I wanted to get it. It was my first makeup item from Smashbox, (now that I'm currently into collecting palettes from different lines). The eyeshadows were small but look very pretty on. I got a compliment the first day I wore the palette! My only gripe is that unlike other palettes out there, they made no room for at least a combo lip/eyeshadow brush. It would have been practical to have that instead of toting a separate brush kit. Overall, you won't be disappointed! Oh, and the case has a cool, velvety-smooth texture like suede.

I stock up on this product! The best body lotion on the market. Softens the skin, has a fresh, light scent that isn't overpowering. The bottle is a generous size and lasts. Archipelago Botanicals has many more products in their line that are fantastic!

Crème -Versace - Extra Creamy Compact Foundation

Great foundation! I've tried many different kinds of foundations in all formulas: compact, liquid, creme, etc. I use 2002 which matches my skin tone perfectly. It covers blemishes and imperfections very well and yet looks natural. I have combination skin and it doesn't cake or make my skin dry. It has a velvety smooth finish;it's not a true creme foundation. Even though it's pricey, it's well worth the purchase since it's hard to find a good quality foundation. The compact is very chic with a separate sponge and mirror.

If your looking for super-fresh shower gels, look no further than R&G's Gentle Nature Gardener's Collection. So far, I've tried the Tomato, Carrot and Lettuce. There's a Grape one too. My favorites are the Carrot and Lettuce scents. When you smell them, it's like, "Ahh!". The carrot scent is fresh, and slightly sweet. Considering the size, they are a bit pricier than your average shower gel, so for me it's a treat when I buy them. My whole family loves using them. Too bad they don't come in a bigger bottle. And it would be nice if they had body lotions in the same scent.

Other -Burt's Bees - Lavender Mint Toothpaste

I love anything with lavender since it's antiseptic and very refreshing. I bought this toothpaste and use it with my flouride one. It polishes my teeth and leaves it super-fresh. Plus it's dirt cheap too.

Fragrances -J. Lo - Glow

This is my favorite fragrance. Simply because it smells light, fresh and clean. It works so well with my skin pH. I don't feel perfumey or overdone. I've bought several bottles-I go through them quickly. This perfume is very nice. As for the bottle design, well it's very Jlo. The neck of the bottle is slim, at first it was hard grabbing hold and spritzing. But I love it! This will always be my favorite for as long as it's around.

Mascara -Lancome - Definicils Mascara

I like this mascara. I tried all the other mascaras from Lancome before trying this one. It is expensive but I like how it lengthens & separates my lashes and doesn't flake. You don't need to put a lot on. Plus I always use an eyelash curler before applying mascara, it maximizes the effect.
