I just finished using this over the weekend, and I am happy with the results! I am a natural medium brown, but for the last 5 or 6 years, have been dyeing to a rich brown, or sometimes a dark ash brown, or even a dark neutral brown. I primarily used colorsilk, but have also done the garnier brass free medium brown (semi perm). I left it on for 45 minutes, then rinsed for about 15 minutes. Shampooed 2x with neutrogena anti residue (the clear rectangular bottle), and rinsed that for another 10 minutes. I followed up with a porosity/protein filler and a deep conditioner, which I left on for 20 minutes. Then I rinsed for another 10 minutes (I know!). I put in some infusium after the final rinse. I did this 2x on 2 separate days, I needed 2 treatments because my hair went back to dark in spots. It is now a sort of auburn brown color, close to my natural but slightly more reddish. I think the key to success here is the shampoo/rinse routine. It is crucial to get ALL of the dye molecules out or else they re-oxidize and turn dark. I also saw emerge, the highlights I had done, but dyed over a few years back! It will not remove bleach! And, it really works best if you have gone darker than your original color and just want to lighten it.If you have bule or pink or purple streaks done to your hair, you might get a funky result. The final step 3 is just to show you where you have missed-kind of like those pink tablets you used to chew in the dentists office after brushing to show where you missed. It ismeant to be helpful and to save you from putting dye over an unfinished job and ending up dissapointed!!
Wow! This really smells good-but only in small doses. If you spray it, spray it in the air and walk into it-otherwise it will be cloying. If you like Ananya (my fave), you will like this. The bottle is clean and simple, and the quality of ingredients is very good. Lasts a looooong time too!

If you like Laura Ashley No. 1 which is discontinued and hard to find, you will like this. It is a similar scent, just a bit greener, with a fresh quality to it. The round bottle is just like the one that Rl Glamorous comes in. Very cheap and well worth the purchase.
This is, by far, the best moisturizer for dry aging skin. It is especially good if you use retin-a (tretinoin) cream, because it gets rid of the "peelies" that accompany the use of retin-a. It absorbs fast and plumps up the skin, and makes a great base for makeup. I would NOT recommend this for younger skin, as it may cause breakouts. It wasn't intended for youthful skin, it works best for those with mature skin. The scent is nice, although I wish it came in an unscented form, I don't like to compete with any perfume I may wear. It's getting harder and harder to find in stores, but can still be found at odd lot places. It varies in price from 6 to 10 dollars for a 1.7 oz tube.
Smells like Love's Baby Soft-only more staying power....

What a great fade cream! It's a staple for me!
Well, I have to agree with the person who posted that this stuff does give you a particular "vampire" hue, but I only werar it during the day, as I work outside, and my skin has improved so much since it's regular use---and THAT is the key--regular use. I have subjected my body to alot of CRAP over the 40+ years I've been here, and I can honestly say that sunscreen is THE BEST tool for good skin. If you pair this with a slightly darker mineral powder foundation, it looks completely normal. I give it the proverbial thumbs up. Hoping to try the 100spf, but not wanting to apper dead....

This perfume was always on my "must try once in my life" list, although I had little hope of ever coming across even a sample. Then, one day while shopping a local clothing consignment store, I saw a large stopper bottle of this eau de pafum. I imagined it was probably a factice, containing colored water, so bought it for the bottle. So, I paid my SEVEN DOLLARS and got home, and opened it to sniff.....well, needless to say it was the real thing-a 3.3oz stopper bottle full! And yes, I am gloating here! It is a very clean, elegant and sophistacated scent. But alas, it is very fleeting on the skin. It lasts about an hour on me before fading. I have been layering it with Imaginez sunflower body creme, which smells so much like LA#1, and that does seem to help it last a little longer. I think that Kate Spade Beauty smells similar, but that is also hard to find and expensive. And lasts just about as long....maybe one day someone will replicate this perfume in a long-lasting form.
It's a pleasant and clean scent, but I prefer Fifth Avenue Nights by Elizabeth Arden. It's similar (to my nose), and lasts all day. If they bring back the original Tova at a great price, I may buy again.
Very light, happy and fun scent. It refreshes very well. For a cologne, it lasts very long. I sprayed it all over in the A.M. after showering, and I could still smell it at the end of the day. Keep in mind I am a girl who loves heavy scents!!! I think of this as that 'Perfect work scent' that we all search for-non offensive to anyone, including those perfume sensitive folks. It acts more like a fine soap or lotion.Good luck finding it!!!
Fabulous!! The newest scent from E. Arden I don't normally wear Arden scents; they always seem too granny-like. I do like the original 5th ave., though. It is a pleasant scent. Nights is really a gorgeous, clean and yummy scent that is very addictive! When first sprayed, it seems synthetic and loud, but it soon dries down into a creamy, sexy scent that lingers on the skin for hours. I am constantly smelling myself when I wear this. I wish it came with a lotion! I have yet to try 5th ave after five; I may end up liking that, too. Well done, Arden!
Very sexy....very much in the groove of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle....and Angel. The only beef I have is the cumbersome bottle, it seems very hard to manouvre correctly, and the fact that you cannot find it any more online without paying a kings ransom!!
Like liquid sunshine! It has great packaging, and a very appealing smell... I like Arden's Fifth Avenue for the same reason-it is non-offensive to people around you, even if they don't like perfume. And, it is soooo pleasant. It truly is like sunshine. And it is very affordable. I picked up a bottle for under ten bucks. It will never go on to be a classic like number 5 or Shalimar, but it definitely is a winning purchase! If you can find the Eau de Parfum version, it is definitely much nicer and longer lasting!
So freakishly similar to Courreges Empreinte-which I love and is extremely hard to find. I have the edt, but probably won't repurchase; it is something to wear on special occasions, and generally worn in Fall/Winter. Love it, though!!
This is pleasant enough; I get bananas, and pepper. It doesn't last too long, but with the body lotion, it goes and is very nice, not overpowering. I like....
