Due to budgetary issues I have cut back on expenditures & I am so glad I discovered the Loreal Pro Vive Hydra Gloss conditioner (I've yet to try the shampoo). I'm in my early 40's with long hair. My hair used to be fine in my 20's but has grown coarse & very wavy over time. I used to color my hair at an Aveda salon every 3 months, but have also given that up & haven't had my hair colored, or even cut, for the better part of a year! All that being said, my hair is rather damaged on the ends, and prone to frizziness & dryness. This conditioner has done wonders for my hair in just a few days of use. I don't have to flat-iron it, I can just blow-dry w/ a large round brush & use velcro rollers & it turns out bouncy, very smooth & shiny with lots of body! Even the ends, which are in pretty bad shape, look smooth. But honestly the thing I like best about this stuff is the fragrance! It smells fresh, grassy and sort of sweet. Reminds me of summer, somehow. I even went to Loreal's website hoping to get a list of fragrance notes to search for a similar fragrance on LuckyScent.com. No such luck. But anyway, I highly recommend this conditioner to anyone with coarse/damaged hair who wants something that will tame frizz, bring back a healthy luster & smells fabulous.
