Great price for something that smells like a heavenly vanilla cup cake and it instantly softens skin...a keeper! EDIT: The smell is getting on my nerves and interfering with my 'cool' perfumes, will switch to a different lotion with a mild disappearing scent.
While it is a distinctive fragrance of almonds and strawberries, there is something sickeningly syrupy that takes it over the top, maybe the sandal wood note mixing with the sweet strawberry. I wore a sample of this and hugged my mom, the perfume connoisseur, she said, ‘what the hell did you pick up at the drugstore?’ For the price and the fact that it is not an everyday fragrance, I had to get off the waiting list for this product.
This is totally fantastic! It smells great (*attention grapefruit lovers*) and I love that it’s not that messy and works really well. Often, I donno how, but some of it does end up in my mouth, its bitter. Definitely less harsh than crushed up walnut shells. What really keeps us best friends is the ingredient list and how it gets warm when I rub my hands together. The perfect scrub in my opnion.
Eye Shadow -Clinique - Color Surge Duo in Strawberry Fudge

The green encased gems go with everything I own, the only pair of eye shadow I’ll ever need. These lustrous shadows come in two 3-d shades such as gold mixed with pink and gold mixed with a peachy bronze. I’m soo glad I spotted these before the stock was over.
If you could bottle elegance and sophistication, this is it. Its so sad i keep losing these, i had to buy 2 small 1.7 bottles. I wore this to a very girly-manditory-skirt-birthday lunch and i almost felt bad that i got more complements on my perfume that the birthday girl did, lol ;)
Absolutely Absymal! i tried it on coz it came with the set i bought, but right after i put some on my arms, the strong smell was soo nausiating. Worst part is, its not a strong fragrance which has depth or any base, its just sharp and has an acid smell, coz it jsut doesnt develop into anything plesant. I was a blur hopping into the shower to get this toxic waste off.
I only buy gloss at Estee Lauder coz they have just the right amount of shimmer; but the other day i didnt have a lip color and my friend let me borrow hers and i was like, 'this is creamy and just the perfect consistancy'. It looked good, but i chalked it upto first impressions but i later noticed it stay put for the entire day! i had to go check out the color collection ~ nice. The SA's were quite helpful. Love the packaging, the blending tip adds to it all.
The Perfect Mascara, you can definately tell there's something about your lashes, it gives an eye popping effect to the eyes. I have to have this on every morning, doesnt matter if i have any makeup or not. Does everything the mascara of my dreams should, lengthens, seperates and thickens, but dont go crazy with it, like all great makeup use sparingly. For a little something extra, try layering it with Clinique's lash building primer, it'll stay curled and perfect all day. Plus the price isnt so bad either. This is like paying the bills for me, i have to buy it every couple of months.
Lip Gloss -Clinique - Glosswear Sheer Shimmers in Sunset
midnightrose 4/9/2005 11:52:00 PM
I just had to spring for it after trying the sample. It's a nude, very peachy color and looks sublime when im wearing earth tones. The best part about Cliniqe glosses, they smell just like they're supposed to, very mild and non offesive.
Lip Gloss -Clinique - Glosswear for Lips Intense Sparkle in Lunar Ice
midnightrose 4/9/2005 11:44:00 PM
The sparkles are too big ~ not very clinique. Its almost like something tacky from a drugstore. That maybe because lunar ice is a clear gloss, because it looks good in stellar plum.
Eye Makeup Remover -Clinique - Take The Day Off Eye Makeup Remover
midnightrose 4/9/2005 11:37:00 PM
Nice packaging, Gently removes eye makeup, but kinda stings arouns the lids and is quite oily. Now that i've decided to turn my eye lids into a canvas for carnival adds, i've been on the hunt for a good cleanser. This does the job quick and easy but i suspect some damage, lids have been looking dry. Clinique's gentle cream cleansers' better.
Soo many flowers, but that does not mean they're not blended well. I imagine Einstein would smell like this..too many things going on all at once. I have yet to run across a person who wear this...its linen spray for me, a pricey linen spary. If i sniff enough, it slips me into sweet slubmer..;)
Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Dream Angels Divine
midnightrose 4/9/2005 11:23:00 PM
I see this working on anyone, as long as they dont try to layer it with too many different types of scents. By itself, it is simply divine, just because it does not have any deapth, but dont get me wrong, that just means that you get what it smells like in the bottle and doesnt change bases and notes on you later. Its pure throughout, if it works on you initially. I prefer a bit of woody base so i reserve this for when i just want to smell squeaky clean and uncomplecated...in other words very rarely.
Lipstick -Victoria's Secret - Suede Touch Lipstick in Rustic Tweed
midnightrose 4/9/2005 11:14:00 PM
Very poor consistancy, it was a nice attemp at something that should feel like suade but this is too dry and very fake looking.
Lip Liners -Victoria's Secret - Draw Me a Line Lip Pencil
midnightrose 4/9/2005 11:09:00 PM
Lets be honest, it kinda sucks. Unless you plan to always finish off with lipstick...this still doesnt work well. I've tried it with lip balm and without and both times it comes off and do so in the most uneven of manners. If your bent on not throwing it in the 'sucks' pile. There is one trick to wear this just by itself, line lips, then spread a good lip balm(body shop) on your hand, then press it lightly against your lips and even it out with your finger. It does not come off on your hands and wears slightly longer.
