This great product preps the skin for eyeshdadow (if used over the entire lid) or for futher highlighting is necessary under the eye (which I find is not necessary after this, but to each its own-). Very pricey but I like the sponge instead of a wanky brush like the other high end illuminating stuff for under eyes, and is certainly very forgiving with small lines under the eyes and crows feet, does not set in like so many high end stuff does. Colour 01 light is great for me (very pale, freckles, redhead, blueish undertones under the eyes). Note: You can use this OVER your foundation or on its own, never under.

I have been hooked on this since I first purchased one, five years ago. Number 2 is great on my freckly pale redheaded skin. It is an immediate pickmeup and does wonders on very mild dark circles. Tip: DO NOT WEAR THIS OVER FOUNDATION. I have found that if you use it on bare skin or just over a primer, the color is better and the duration too. As Lisa Elridge recommends, the less makeupa around the eyes, the better. Will buy when finished, it is expensive but lasts 3 months used twice a day, every day. Packaging is great, I have never found the brush to get dirty if you use it every day.

Eye Shadow -Chanel - Shadowlights- Vega

Great shimmery/metallic taupe a little too dark for daylight but easily blendable. Very nice using in the eye socket area to deepen "le regard". Very pricey though, there is a similar shade in Lancome which is far more buttery and less metallic but still shimmery, a little less expensive. As always, Chanel packaging is faultless. Will buy again when finished, although it is lasting ages!

Great product. I had tried Benefit's before this one and I found to much too pink. But this one is just pink enough, and shiny more than shimmery. It is great worked on foundation (do not dust powder over it afterwards), patting it on in a big "C" shape on cheekbones and brow bones... It makes the tired skin around the eyes seem much younger, healthier. Really a great "cheating" product to take years off skin, better than piling on foundation. At 13 euros in Spain, I really recommend it, I like the packaging too, very convenient and simple.
