ok-so i love salon products-i usually use Tigi-Brunette Godess shampoo and conditioner and the Fashionista Catwalk as a finshing cream. But my hairdresser said that for a store brand Dove is pretty good-no build up like pantene and whatnot. I wanted something for extra moisture-and because i work in a hospital and wear my hair up straight out of the shower-this really works great.i have fine hair-and 4 sprays allows me to safely comb through my wet hair.Leaves my hair so much softer-but does not weigh it down. ***SOOO-as of the beginning of June-Target and most local stores stopped carrying this! i was saddened to have to find a more expensive and less reliable replacement! so i went on Dove.com-and if you go to their products under conditioners-they have a area you can put in your zip code and they will tell you where they still carry it-for me in L.A-only Kmart (loathe to shop there -dirty! and unorganized!) and vons/pavillions carries it now. But i was happy to go and buy several-this product is my HG-and i dont know why target and others stopped carrying it but i hope they dont totally get rid of it! I'm gonna load up! :)
i wanted to love this-but as i read on some other reviews-it may not work due to my eyeshape-i honestly found my revlon eyelash curler worked better-and this was expensive. Back to nordstoms it goes!

ok, here goes-super expensive, but ultimately worth it-if you are patient. i bought the unit at sephora. i am a petite gal who is unfortunately furry :) all overrrrr. so i tried it all over.i mean complete torso and limbs. no big difference at first-but if you are patient after a few months there is a significant amount of reduction-for me perphaps a 60% or so reduction. my legs and torso are greatly reduced. my arms are tiny-hard to run over with the unit so not as much reduction as i would like-but i will continue to use and hopefully will see more results.i honestly will say this has changed the quality of my life-yes as dramatic as that sounds.i can wear much less clothing and am quite confident now while doing so. there was a time before you would never see me in a backless dress or tiny top and now no problem :) drawbacks-you have to spend alot of time going back and forth over areas-and in areas you cannot reach you have to get help (back of the neck and such) you have to continually buy replacement blades-they are 20 bucks a pop. this device works best (in my humble opinion) on dark fine hair.-really works well-burns that stuff up! i didnt find it worked at all on coarse hair-and i have heard others say the same. DO NOT use this on your face!! i tried and burnt my upper lip and got a blister which scarred! it isnt visible now but i was pissed at the time! but hey-i cant complain it says on the box not too. however you can use on your neck and jawline with good results. this is NOT a immediate gratification deal-if you are expecting lazer removal quality you will not be satisfied.if you are looking to greatly reduce the hair you have (mine is either now gone in large areas or reduced and the hair is much finer) and are willing to commit to using it several times a week over several months it is worth it. buy at sephora-they have a great return policy :) goodluck!
Treatments (Eye) -Shiseido - Bioperformance Super Eye Contour
michelle1975 6/2/2008 3:29:00 AM
didnt do a thing-the SA said i would have to wait 4 weeks for results so returned it after that-i believe it cost $60 which is alot for a product that did not deliver results.i can recommend Kate Sommerville's line release for eyes that is a great product (but pricey)-as well as her Deep Tissue Repair gives awesome results as well.
Toners -Shiseido - White Lucent Brightening Balancing Softener Enriched
michelle1975 6/2/2008 3:21:00 AM
didn't lighten or even my tone whatsoever-i swapped it with my friend for some tigi products. Wish i kept the reciept to return it-i believe it was $50-which i do not mind paying for a good product-but this didnt do a thing for me.
hated my bobbi brown tinted moisturizer because it would ball up when i applied it.I like Shiseido so i tried this-LOVE it.Perfect color match (and i am the strangest yellow tone) and gives light but flawless cover-no one can tell i am wearing anything. It's matte (i had to use powder over the BB tinted m. so that irritated me) and i would definately recommend this to someone who doesnt need or like foundation but wants something light to give even tone :)

i went searching for an antioxidant after my derm said at my age (32) i need one.I went to nordstroms prepared to buy Arden's Prevage-and i happened to ask the nearest SA for help-she worked for KS-and began to tell me about the total vitamin and this DTR.She gave me some samples and while the TV broke me out-the DTR made the tiny lines under my eyes really fade-so i went back and bought the full size.I only use it under my eyes and around my mouth-which works well-when i used it on my chin i broke out :(-but i will be repurchasing it since it really gives me results for wrinkles which i have tried several other products with no results for :) update-11/4/08 i have used this cream over 5 to 6 months now? i stopped liking it about 3 months in as it seemed to not have the same smoothing qualities as it did at first.unfortunately-it started to smell rancid a month ago.now if i pay 150 bucks for a cream i do not expect that-it is in a airtight container i am assuming looking at the packaging-so i couldnt figure out why that happened-and i keep it in a place that is cool. i would not purchase again-and futhermore-i only used a small portion as it was expensive and have a large portion left-but would not return it since it has been 6 months.bummer-wanted to like it :(
only been using this a week-but leaves my face matte and i like the fruit enzymes.I needed a moisturizer with spf-but hate the shiny look they mostly all have-this doesnt do that. However after reading the other reviews i see several started breaking out after using this product for more then 2 weeks-so i will see.I use a very small amount and like the results so far. EDIT-made me break out in the 2nd week-gave it to a friend who likes this line and who isn't prone to break outs
i have fine thin semi straight hair-this stuff is addictive-i put it on damp and it leaves my hair shiny and smooth -protects my hair one the days i straighten it too.I used to use a leave in Pantene spray and then a pantene cream that didnt work half as well as this one product-which i have to say one bottle has lasted already 5 months and has almost half left-definately will repurchase
never used a gloss in a tube-i prefer a wand for convenience. However i loved this gloss-i wore it over the BB rose petal-and the gloss gives it the perfect sheen.I am so sick of over sticky or glosses with glitter(i found MAC way too sticky)-this is a perfect gloss and it lasts much longer than others i've used-i reapply less often.
recommended by my hairstlylst, the best thing i have ever tried on my hair-keeps it soft and easy to style.my hair is fine and thin-and other products weigh it down-this is perfect! The smell is amazing too :)
Treatments -Olay - Regenerist Filling + Sealing Wrinkle Treatment
michelle1975 4/10/2008 1:56:00 AM
ok-i had a gift certificate to taget and decided to try a beauty product i would not generally try. This was about $17 and change.I am 32 and just beginning to get fine lines -i put this on my undereye area and it dramatically made it look smoother-no joke. But when i put it on the line around mouth-it did nothing whatsoever. However i try alot of different brands from department to convenience stores-i heard olay is just as good as the more expensive stuff i have tried-and i like this alot for what it immediately did for my undereye. If anyone could recomend something they like for laughlines i will try it.I will definately buy again for around my eyes :)
my hair started thinning in my mid 20's-and by 32 it was something that i was really sensitive about.the great gal that does my hair noticed how thin it was-and suggested biotin. It is ridiculously inexpensive-target has it in their vitamin aisle for $1.89! I take 2 pills a day-and noticed after a month it was growing fast-and when i went to see my derm(i had made an appointment 2 months prior because i wanted her to check my hair loss and she took some blood and was telling me the lab results) she looked at my scalp and told me i had alot of new growth-i know it was the biotin-there was nothing else but that it could have been.I am overjoyed-it will really make your hair grow fast-i have to trim my bangs all the time! I will continue to buy this and am elated with the results :)
Tinted Moisturizer -Bobbi Brown - Tinted Moisturizer [REFORMULATED]
michelle1975 4/4/2008 3:13:00 AM
i went to the bobbi brown counter because i like the colors of the eye concealer i bought-they were yellow toned and suits my yellow toned face-which is hard for me to match with other brands.i do not like the look of foundation-i just wantedsomething light to make my face even toned on nights i go out.The SA at BB did a great job putting this on me-i ended up spending $120 some dollars on BB products that day.But the very foist time i tried to apply the moisturizer i was frustrated-it would go on and as i tried to blend it , it would ball up into little crumbles.i tried applying with my fingers and a sponge-always the same thing-and i still had to apply powder over it because it was shiny-which went against the whole reason i wanted a light tinted moisturizer. I know so many of you love this-but if you have my problem-I bought Shiseido's tinted moistuizer-which has spf as a bonus over BB-it goes on smooth-the color is a perfect match and it does not ball up-and it does not shine like the BB-so sadly i will not buy again.
Concealers -Bobbi Brown - Eye Brightener [DISCONTINUED]
michelle1975 4/4/2008 3:02:00 AM
i have been using this for about 6 months-it is really good at concealing my dark circles-i use this over the BB eye cream and under the BBconcealer-i would buy again since i think it does the best job of any other concealer i have tried.A little pricey-but it actually is worth it since it lasts forever :)
