It's okay but not what I hoped for. Hold isn't strong enough.
Blush -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Blush 831E Pearlescent Pink

I love this blush - just finished one pan and will buy another. It is the only blush I have and the only one I need. Best $3 I've spent. I have some HE MU but no need for HE blush.
Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Walking on Eggshells

Love this - my every day ES (though Stila Kitten is a fav). WNW is a no-guilt buy and I use the product over and over.
Expensive, but I like it fine. Smells great -- takes a lot of conditioner - about 3X more than the shampoo. And it really makes my hair poofy! If you're going for volume, this will do it.
Shampoo -Organix - Rejuvenating Cherry Blossom Ginseng Shampoo

I really wanted to love this but, meh. Smells good, but I seem to always have a bad hair day when I use this. Won't buy again.
Fragrances -Estee Lauder - Pure White Linen Pink Coral EDP

Love this. Vera Wang is my HG, but this is a great second go-to fragrance. It smells clean and classy with a hint of rose; not sugary and cheap. Good staying power.
My go-to staple eye shadow base. Love it!!
Misc Beauty Tools -Olay - Professional Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System

This is just a gadget. I've use the exfoliating washcloths for several years, and frankly they do a better job. This feels good and spins, but I can't tell that it really is exfoliating all that well. I do like the Olay cleanser, but the $30s for the brush really didn't need to be spent. The good thing about trying this was it answered my question about the Clarisonic. I can't imagine that I would have liked the vibrating action any better. Save your money and get an exfoliating cloth.
I am a certified hand cream junky -- and this is absolutely my favorite. A close second is the hemp hand cream from The Body Shop. The Ahava hand cream makes my hands feel silky and soft and I would wear the fragrance as a perfume if it was available. Love this! (It does need a flip lid, though.)
Removed my positive post on this product. MN has changed the compact to 1/3 less product for the same or more $$. Will never use this again.
OK - I was skeptical because some of the raved-about products on MU haven't turned out to be my favorites -- but I do love the reviews! I've never found a cuticle treatment I liked, so I tried this one since it was so cheap. I got to the car and couldn't wait to try it out. This is drippy and watery, and I immediately thought this was going to be a let-down. I poured some in the cup of my hand and dipped my fingers in. No wow yet, but by the time we got to the restaurant and I washed it off, my cuticles were gone. I'm still amazed. Yes, this is a good one and I'm genuinely wowed. The large bottle for $6 from Sally's is also a win. Thanks MU reviewers!
Love it - clean and classy.
I love NY&C pants. They have a shape and they also come in TALL!! I am a 2 tall, and it's almost impossible to find this size anywhere. They are about 1/2 too long, but that's okay. I am 44, and I am not ready to wear frumpy, old lady clothes. Their dress pants look great with heels, and the fit is tasteful without making me feel like I'm trying to look like a teen.
Conditioner -Burt's Bees - Volumizing with Soy and Pomegranate
micbass01 7/5/2010 11:10:00 PM
This makes my hair staticy - and I'm using it in the summer! I've never had a conditioner do this. Disappointed and won't buy again.
Hair Color -John Frieda - luminous color glaze in brilliant brunette

I have dark medium brown, flat hair naturally, and I dye it a medium/light brown and put in golden highlights. I washed my hair, towel dried it and applied about three quarter size applications, diistributed it well and left it on for about 20 minutes. Worked exactly as I expected. It toned down the brassy color my hair turns when it needs to be recolored. So far I really like this!
