Overall this is a really great product. I have very, very curly hair (think Felicity), but I can get it pretty smooth and straight with this product. I think it really protects my hair too when I use a flatiron. My only complaint is, like any product after a while, you start to get buildup from it and then it doesn't work as well. Since this gel is pretty thick, I would use a clarifying shampoo once a week to get out the excess buildup from it.

Styling Products -Aveda - Hang Straight [DISCONTINUED]

My stylist used this product on me at the Aveda Institute, so I bought it to try it out for myself. I have really, really curly hair, but I can normally get it pretty smooth with a blow dryer and a round brush. This product made my hair puffy and it felt super dry. Not to mention that it offers absolutely no protection from humidity whatsoever. Plus the smell is a bit too intense for my taste. I've gone back to my John Frieda products when I want a straight style.

Tinted Moisturizer -Clinique - Moisture Sheer Tint [DISCONTINUED]

I have used this TM for a couple of years now, but I think I'm ready to try something else. I have normal to oily skin, and usually by midday, I have to blot my forehead and cheeks so they don't look so shiny. This makeup goes on smoothly, blends nicely, and works very well with Clinique concealers. I have to use it with a powdered mineral foundation over it to get more coverage, but works well for days when you don't want to wear too much makeup. I think I am going to try something a little cheaper because this is kind of pricey ($27). I'm going to try to find something that won't make me look so oily by noon.
