Together with the 'brow wiz' pencil and the brow gel, this is my HG trio for brows. I can draw my brows in few seconds and rest sure it will look incredibly natural. With other pencils and tools I tried before, it took me ages to do it right and results could not be compared. I can´t recommend this enough!!

I used to like this product as I though it provided me with a subtle and beautiful tan, but that was on the mirror. Until I saw myself in pictures and discovered that I was looking like an alligator...completely green!!. What a shame.

Treatments -Clinique - Turnaround Concentrate Radiance Renewer

Many years ago I tried Turnaround serum but did not like it as it irritated my skin (actually, all AHAs and BHAs I have tried do it) However, I recently received a sample of this new Turnaround serum and decided to give it a try, as ingredients are very different from the other Turnaround versions. This one contains Lactobionic Acid as the main exfoliant, that is supposed to be less sensitizing than other exfoliants. I have been using it every other day (I think that is enough for my sensitive skin) for one month and I am very happy with the results. No signs of irritaton so far and my skin is looking really renewed and brighter. Anyway, as one month may not be enough to make sure, I will update here in a few months. Edit 30/6/2012: after some months I can state that I cannot leave without this product. This is absolutely my HG exfoliant

Liquid -Becca - Luminous Skin Color sheer foundation

I discovered this makeup recently through Pixiwoo blog and I have to thank them for that. I am currently loving other 2 makeups as well (Armani luminous silk and By Terry sheer expert) but each one for a different purpose. This one (Becca) complements the others perfectly. This is similar to Terry´s 'Sheer expert' talking about coverage and finish (INCREDIBLY NATURAL) so same properties as the 'Sheer expert' but also contains reliable sunscreen (25+) and this is the bonus of this makeup against the others. I would not use this to go to the office, as I prefer not to wear sunscreen if it is not necessary, but it saves my life when I go out on a sunny day and want to look perfect without looking like I am wearing make up. Do not use if you have to cover many blemishes as it will not work (it is something in between a tinted moisturizer and a make up). Although need to say that it will totally cover minor blemishes. Besides: it really moisturizes my skin, does not irritate at all and no breakouts at all after some months of use.

Brows -MAC - Eyebrows Crayon in Spiked

I have been using this crayon for some years and I like it but I have recently discovered another one that I like much more: the Browwiz of Anastasia Beverly Hills. Both look similar but Mac pencil cannot be compared to the Browwiz as the result with this one is muuuuuch more natural. I have fallen in love with it.

This brush works great with almost all foundations I have used. It helps to put just the right amount of product so that it does not feel heavy on your skin. I will for sure repurchase although it looks like it will last for many many years.

I ordered this recently, together with some other products of this brand. I can´t believe how this draws my brows sooooooooo naturally!!. I have been using brow products for years and years and all of them looked too obvious. To the bin they have gone!. This is what I have been seeking all my life. IN LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!

I have been using this product for a couple of months and I can´t wait longer to say what I think about it. I have been trying to find the perfect toner (after my beloved 'Verite' from E.Lauder was discontinued) but I have not had great results so far. I am about to give up on that search. Instead, I have found this cleanser and realized that my skin is looking great without the need of a toner. This is removing my makeup effortlessly and leaving my skin cleaned and ready for treatment. Can I survive without a toner? not sure yet, but so far, this is working great as a 2x1. I also feel that it calms down my super sensitive skin. I will repurchase, for sure and will probably leave an update after other 5 or 6 months to see if nothing has changed. Update April, 3rd, 2012: I am loving this product, need to say. Will review in other few months just in case but so far, a real HG.

Misc Beauty Tools -Shu Uemura - Eyelash Curler

After reading some negative reviews about this curler I come to the conclusion that some people may think that by using an eyelash curler they will suddenly have more and longer lashes....that is obviously ridiculous. If you rate this product for what it is, a tool to curl your lashes, this is probably the best curler in the market. Keeping in mind that it has to be used properly and not too much pressure has to be applied, as otherwise, your lashes may suffer (this sounds obvious as well). Results are nothing spectacular, as I said before, this will not make you look like you´re wearing false lashes, but it will make a visible difference.

I recently discovered this product, that I think is quite new. It was released together with the 'Cover expert' version, that claims to be similar but to provide more coverage. As I have tried both, this is my review: First, the color range is superb!!, the most natural I have ever seen (although not so many options for dark skins). Colour range is the same in both versions ('Cover' and 'Sheer'). What I do NOT like from the 'Cover expert' version is that it tends to emphasize any fine lines, specially around the eyes (but I have to say that most makeups I have tried do the same), apart from that, it is a great option if you are looking for medium to full coverage. Opposite to the 'Cover expert' version, is the 'Sheer expert', and this is where I want to focus this review. I am literally in love with this makeup!!. THIS IS THE MOST NATURAL MAKEUP EVER. It is so natural that it does not really look as makeup in your skin. It feels absolutely light and sheer, like you are wearing nothing at all, but your skin looks absolutely flawless. Lines are not noticeable, like it happens with other makeups, skin feels fresh and moisturized. It provides light to medium coverage, however, it has nothing to do with a tinted moisturizer. Although hard to believe, you can build it up for heavier coverage (I do not think full coverage can be achieved but definitely more than medium if well worked). It looks beautiful under camera, stays all day in my skin and does not dry it out. Key to mention: it has not broken me out yet and no irritation to my super sensitive skin. I am using it as my daily makeup now and I am leaving others for the night time. First time I say this about a makeup: If nothing changes in some months this may be my HG!

Skincare - Face -MAC - Fix+

This is my new toner since Estee Lauder Verité toner was discontinued. I found out that both formulas were almost the same, just couple of additional ingredients in Mac version. I also use it sometimes for fixing makeup, but primary use is as a toner. It smooths my skin and moisturizes without irritating at all. I have not been able to use any other toner in my skin so far but these two. All the others I have tried (tons I have to say) irritate my skin like hell. I just pray Mac does never discontinue this one. UPDATE: after some months of use, I am feeling that the fragance it contains is drying out my skin. Nothing very noticeable, but I have removed one lippie as it would definitely be great without fragance.

Powder -Giorgio Armani - Lasting Silk UV Compact Foundation

I have bought this powder specially for the summer time, as I do not want to look cakey and powder works better for me when temperatures are hight. Also it has high sun protection, which is great. Texture is so silky and blends like heaven. Coverage is light to medium, depending on the amount of product you use (less coverage compared to Mac studio fix, however, this one has not broke me out while Studio fix irritated my skin sooo much). Price is quite high, but I will repurchase anyway as it is worth it. Color range could be improved (colors are great but not enough to fit many skin tones), that is why I have given 4 lippies.

I love 'luminous silk' foundation as the greatest makeup ever but prefer not to use it on a daily basis, as it contains some alcohol in the formula, so I keep it for special occasions when I want to look superb. For the everyday, I am using now this one ('designer lift') that is great as well, although not same finish as the 'luminous silk'. This one is a bit more matte and also has sun protection, which is great for the day time. I will repurchase unless I find something better with sunscreen. UPDATE: I have found a daily makeup that is rocking my world (By Terry 'Sheer expert). Although it does not contain sunscreen, results are so great that I rather use it over my own sunscreen better than anything else. For the night time, I still love GA 'Luminous silk'.

Liquid -Estee Lauder - Double Wear

This make up provides great coverage and is really long lasting (so much that it is even hard to remove). Finish is so matte though that your face looks completely flat. I believe it may be good for oily skin but not for combo/dry. In my face, it starts to crack after a while, besides, it dries out my skin so much. Similar to MUFE HD, I simply cannot wear this make up.

Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

I tried this makeup based on the very good reviews I read, but I´m afraid that it is not for me. It looked nice when applying but after few minutes (and I say minutes) my face started to look like the desert of Victoria. It was also quite hard to remove. Happy that I just tried a sample.
