I've had cystic acne for about 2 years now; since the birth of my baby. This is the only thing that has worked for me and I've only been on it for 1 month. I started to see results in about 2 weeks. I really really really love this stuff. I pray that I don't suffer from any crazy long term side effects or anything. I have seriously tried every topical treatment you can think of, and this is the only thing that works.

It took me a while to get used to this stuff b/c I'm used to really full coverage foundation. This stuff is more of a light to medium coverage. Despite that, I really like it. I was matched perfectly to warm natural. The finish is kind of dewy, so that also took a while for me to get used to cause I like more of a matte finish, however I'm trying to look more natural and I think this foundation provides a finish that is just that. It definitely needs to be set by some type of powder, but once that's done and you apply some brush or bronzer, you're good to go. I think I'll be sticking with Bobbi Brown from now on.

Foundations -Maybelline - Dream Matte Mousse

I really like this stuff! It has great coverage, and from me that's saying alot because I have redness and scars from acne. I still need a concealer for really dark marks, however overall it does a great job in providing full coverage. Also, I have oily skin and this does provide a matte look. I still get shiny on my nose, however I don't mind b/c when I blott the make up remains--it has great staying power. The colors are a bit limited, however I was able to find something that matches me close enough. Another plus is that I haven't broke out from this--yay! I definitely recommend giving it a try...it's dirt cheap and has some great qualities and I'm comparing this to lines like MAC, CoverFx, MUFE, LM, various mineral makeups, and Lorac. ****Ok, I had to change my review...this stuff clogged my pores so badly. It took about two weeks for me to notice, however once I did I had to stop using it. So sad because I really liked the coverage and the look I was able to get from it****

Cleansers -MAC - Cleanse Off Oil

I really like this stuff. It does it's job in removing all of my makeup without irritating my skin. I have sensitive skin so makeup wipes are usually too harsh, but this stuff is great! Only reason I give it four lippies is b/c I haven't tried any other oil make up removers, so I'm not sure how it compares to others. However, I really like it and don't think I'll stray.

Liquid -Make Up For Ever - Mat Velvet PLUS Matifying Foundation

Reallly wanted to love it, since I have oily, acne-prone skin that has some redness and marks. It does great with coverage and it definitely dries matte, however I found that after using it for a few days it dried my face out so bad that I started peeling around my nose and mouth. Also looked cakey beneath my eyes. Had to return it :(

Love, love, love this stuff. It does exactly what it says it will. I have sensitive, oily yet dehydrated and acne-prone skin. This hydrated without turning me into an oily slick and it has not broke me out. I've tried quite a few moisterizers and this one definitely the best.

Crème -Laura Mercier - Crème Smooth Foundation

This is definitely not the worst foundation I've ever tried, however it is not great. The pros are--the shade matched perfectly with my skin color, it goes on easily and it smells really good :) The cons are--it doesn't have good coverage and it looks a hot mess on oily skin. I wanted to love it, however it did not work well on me.

Foundations -Cover FX - COVER FX

I love this foundation. It has the best coverage than any other foundation I've tried, and I've tried it all-MAC, LM, BE, MUFE, Lorac, the drug store stuff, Smashbox, Dior, Lancome...You don't even need concealor with this. Also, there are so many different colors to choose from. This is the only make up that I've been able to match my skin color with. It works well with oily skin too; which is surprising since it's a cream.
