Hair Color -TheFACEShop - Stylist Silky Hair Color Cream

I love this! I tried the Blue-Black! It's pretty new, especially in the US Market. It's easy to use and pretty effective. Price: $7 It does wash out lightly everytime I shower, but the color is still there. But major points for making my hair super duper silky, like baby butt soft!
Costs an arm and leg, but so worth it! This is definitely one of the better, if not best, concealers out there. Creamy and pigemented that stays! The SA at Nordie's was way off. I knew I needed beige but she dramatcially called out "Ocher"! Nope. After confirming with a swatch I knew it was too yellow/orange/dark. DON'T go for that perfect match if you want to hide anything. Go lighter.
Went everywhere looking for this. My local Nordie's and Bloomie's didn't carry it. And by chance, I found it at Barney's after waiting outside Neiman Marcus to open (didn't due to loss of power). All the work to find out that it applies horribly. I feel like I'm rubbing a layer of gel on my face and it just sits there. The color is a good match, but not perfect. And then I found out that my skin is reacting horribly to it. Red bumps and itchiness. Why oh why did I throw away the receipt. B Back to Nars Sheer Glow!
Would I buy this again? HELL NO. First of all, it washed out within a few washes. The water kept running purple no matter what. It is completely gone. Second, IT KILLED MY HAIR. My very long luxurious hair is now crunchy at the tips. CRUNCHY! This crimped nastiness goes up at least a good 6 inches which I will have to chop off. I am immensely disappointed with the fried hair. I should have stuck with Palty. I have tried conditioner after conditioner but fried split-ended hair is completely unrepairable. I wanted my original deep black color and I was entranced by the "multi-faceted highlights..blah blah", I will never ever use this product ever again. UGH.
I LOVE it. 2 coats is enough to get that perfect inky black but I do 3. It's such a resilient glossy black that looks elegant rather than emo. I had vowed to never wear black so I stuck with midnight blues and My Private Jet... I was so wrong. Definite favorite especially with Halloween this weekend.
This review is for #1 Iced Lychee and #3 Frozen Cherry. First of all, my lips are tiny. I'd like to day, they look like little rosebuds. So when I apply any bright/dark lip color on top they look even tinier. So I swapped my Nars and Ysl lipsticks for these two. My lips aren't dark, but they aren't light either. It's a dusty pink. Iced Lychee is PERFECT~ It add a lot of shine and a hint of a peachy-pink color. Frozen Cherry, on the other hand, is too red for me. It's glossy but too red. It's a definite no-no for me. Warning: the smell is intense. I nearly reeled from the mango fragrance. It takes a while to disappear too. Otherwise, it's a beautiful moisturizing stick gloss.
Liquid -Christian Dior - Diorskin Nude Hydrating Makeup SPF 10 [DISCONTINUED]

This is a comparison between Nars Sheer Glow - Punjab and Diorskin - 21(linen). Diorskin is much harder to blend compared to Nars Sheer Glow. It dries much quicker. This also makes my face shinier and it's noticeably heavier on my face. I feel like I'm wearing a mask. It's also not a perfect match. If there's one thing that I like about this is the thicker coverage = less concealer, that's all.
Cheap! Works! (at least on my lashes but not my brows) ...makes my eyes itch when I put on too much.
Versatile shades. I got baby pink, peach, and pastel orange. It takes a lot of varnish to get a even streak free coverage. Sometimes, I get tiny bubbles underneath because I put on so much so that perfect coverage. But if you like different shades of pastel colors, this is the one for you. It dries pretty fast as well.
Primer/ Corrector -Christian Dior - Radiance Boosting Makeup Primer

I like this a lot, not sure if I love it yet. From what I can tell it keeps my makeup on longer, smooths out my uneven complexion, and keeps some shine at bay. I love the smell and the cool shimmery peach texture. It doesn't sit on my face but absorbs pretty quickly. It really does brighten your face. The price is pretty steep at $40 but Guerlain's Meteorites primer is far more expensive. The packaging is decent. It's shaped like a silver tube. You turn the end and click out the amount you wish. I have to click mine a good 6-10 times. That's just way too much from what I expected.
Treatments -Garnier - Fructis Triple Nutrition Nutrient Spray

This is exactly what I was looking for. I like my Garnier conditioner so I thought another Garnier product would do. I LOVE it! I part my hair four ways and spray it 6-9 inches from my hair and then I spray the ends. I make sure to never get it on my scalp. The effect is wondrous. My hair is shinier, smells amazing, and so much softer. Even now, I'm running my hand through my hair and it feels like silk. I only sprayed about 8 times and the effect has lasted all day and night. Definitely 5 lippies. Just make sure to shake it every time before use. I was surprised when it separated. I paid about $9 for this at Ralphs. You will love this!!~
Conditioner -Garnier - Fructis Leave-In Conditioning Cream, Sleek & Shine

It was whatevers. I didn't like this product. First of all, I hate the packaging. Squeezing out the product is messy. Second, I didn't like the creamy texture. I had to smooth it out on my hand a and run my fingers continually through my hair. Third, If you put on too much, then it got nasty. I didn't like how hard it was to wash it off my hand as well.
Powder -Shu Uemura - Powder Foundation Natural Glow
meruhasaea 4/3/2010 6:02:00 PM
Since I love my Glow On blush I decided to try the powder foundation. I was in a rush and after she brushed on the foundation I thought it looked pretty good. So I decided to actually use it today and it was horrible. It oxidized almost immediately on my face! I have a light yellow skintone and my face turned a dark orange. It was bad enough that my boyfriend laughed. Ew.. I'm returning this tomorrow :(
Lipstick -Yves Saint Laurent - Rouge Volupte Lipstick - #1 Nude Beige
meruhasaea 2/15/2010 4:20:00 AM
Pros: 1. Gorgeous gold packaging with cute mirror on top of tube 2. Intense nude pink color 3. Thick and creamy Cons: 1. Creaminess emphasizes cracks (prep with balm) 2. EXPENSIVE!! 3. Not as moisturizing and needs to be reapplied 4. ...need I mention the price? $34 Overall, it's an expensive habit and I'm addicted to ysl. Their makeup line is superb. I will buy more Rouge Volupte as I am addicted to them. The color intensity is amazing. The packaging is too die for. This color just looks really good on me (which is rare). I planned to only wear this for dates and going out at night but I've applied this almost everyday now!!
Lipstick -Yves Saint Laurent - Rouge Volupte #30 Faubourg Peach
meruhasaea 2/15/2010 4:11:00 AM
OMG this is SO expensive! The worst part is I never ever buy lipsticks but I had to have this. The color is so gorgeous, an intense peachy pink. I tried Peach Passion #13 but it was too garish on me. This, on the other hand, is a lighter more manageable version. Due to this creamy formula, it emphasizes all the cracked and peeling parts of my lips. I prep a minute before with Rosebud Salve. It's not as moisturizing as I hoped but it still looks and feels great on my lips. I don't swish this on my lips due to the intense color but I dab it gently on my lips and end it with one swipe. I have a feeling its going to last a long long time :) Packaging is amazing too, I love the little circular mirror on top of the tube~ The color is gorgeous. It's definitely too nice to wear out to everyday events but rather a winner for night or special occasions.
