My short and sweet review: Love this! This has such a nice texture, very SMOOTH and not a bit sticky. The color is great, I'll love it when I get a little tan. Will have to stock up on these chromeglasses!
Lipstick -Clinique - Colour Surge Butter Shine Lipstick

I don't see what all the fuss is about. Just another lipstick, woo-hoo. Cute package, but after having it, that's the only appeal it has for me anymore.
I got two of these, Strawberries and Champagne and Forever Romance. I really like the texture. The butter is very firm, but melts right into your skin. I have VERY dry skin, thanks to the arrid climate in which I live, but this stuff does the trick without feeling greasy at all. The fragrances are ok, I always find VS fragrances somewhat overpowering, but they do not last long so I will be able to handle it. My question, why don't some of these companies offer an unscented version? BBW and VS specifically? I do not use their fragrances, and I can't mix some of their lotions/creams that are heavily fragranced with my favorites. More people would use the items if they had an unscented version.
Lotions/ Creams -Arbonne - NutriMin C Body Serum and Lotion

Of all of the Arbonne I have tried, I think I like this product the best. First you apply a serum, then the lotion. The serum soaks in quickly, and the lotion is rich and creamy but not greasy. Sometimes I don't want to take the time to go over myself twice with the two products, then I just something else, like Body Shop butter. I like the fragrance of the Nutrimen C products, kind of orangey. The bad thing about this stuff is that it costs $75 if you purchase them separately, but I got mine as a set , a "purchase with purchase" for about $20 when I boughtt a bunch of other Arbonne stuff. I will not be continuing their face line, Obagi seems to be actually DOING something for my skin.
Conditioner -Rusk - Sensories Smoother Leave-in Conditioner

What a waste! Only good thing about it is that I was able to buy it at Costco on the cheap. Now I have a liter of it that I will never use. Maybe I will try it on my toddler's long hair. It didn't do a thing for me!
Lip Gloss -Bath and Body Works - Tutti Dolci - Angel food cake

LOVE this gloss! Smells and tastes wonderful! I went to BBW the other day to buy some more, but it had been discontinued in this flavor, boo-hoo! Some dear soul was offering them on ebay, so I did replenish my stash. The flavor is what keeps me coming back. Nice shimmer. I wish the applicator end wasn't round, I like the angled ones better.
Lip Gloss -Victoria's Secret - Sweet Talk Shimmering Gloss [DISCONTINUED]

I bought the Peach gloss. Smells and tastes really like peaches gone bad. Nice lightweight feel and shimmer, but just can't handle the peach. Maybe I will try another flavor...
Conditioner -Suave - 2-Minute Deep Conditioning Treatment

Wotks every bit as well on my dry hair as the expensive products. Smells clean, rinses well, will always use this conditioner!
Lotions/ Creams -Burt's Bees - Beeswax & Banana Hand Creme
melmelby 8/27/2005 10:24:00 AM
Smells ok, greasy feeling, doesn't work as well as some cheaper creams, I won't waste my money again. Also, the jar was inconvenient.
If I wanted some menthol chapstick, I would have bought it at the checkout at Walmart. Thick, smelly, won't use again.
Styling Products -L'Oreal - L'Oreal GRAB Texturixing Gel

Really does "Grab", adds unbelievable texture to my style, LOVE it!
Sticky and gross! Makes my hair look like it hasn't been washed in days!
Hate this stuff! First of all, even though I am a warm skin tone, the cool one was the one that looked to be the right color. Secondly, I look like I am wearing a mask. Thick almost greasy powder. Seems contradictory to call that a powder, but I don't know what else it would be. If you are going to use powder makeup, I would suggest Bare Minerals or Jane Iredale instead.
Wish I could eat it! Works as well as any scrub, smells yummy.
Not to be applied if you want a fragrance booster! The medicinal smell doesn't bother me. I kind of like the ozone nuance it has. Meant to be used as an overnight treatment, but I use it all day. For the price and quantity, I prefer Vanicream. Not a treatment but moisturizer. Cheap and feels great!
