I'm drinking the Kool Aide...this is a fabulous powder. Use it to contour and as a blush when my Rosacea is acting up. It blends better then any other bronzer I have ever tried and it lasts.
Love the texture and really want to love the color. It is the perfect color for nuding out your lips. Its like foundation on your lips, but with better staying power. On it's own, I've yet to come up with a good look for it, but I do like it as a base for pale pink glosses. My lips are fairly pigmented so pale glosses always look silly on me. With Viva Glam Gaga as a base I can easily wear the pretty pale glosses. Of course the glosses cut down on the wear and this is one lipstick that does NOT look good as it wears off. It doesn't fade on me, it disappears in random chunks. I have to be more careful then when I wear a red, and frankly that is too much work. For that kind of work I'd rather go VaVoom and wear a real bright lipstick. I don't regret buying, because I know the money goes to a good place, but won't be buying again. For all of you who love it, I envy you, wish I could!
I do really like this product. It took me awhile to be sold on it. I'm not sure that's a good thing as most people wouldn't give it that much time. The biggest problem is the packaging, you have very little control on how much product is expressed. I get a nice balance of moisture and coverage with VitaZing. I wear it on my "Mom" days, when I don't need a flawless finish. I do need to use a light dusting of powder otherwise I do get an oil slick. The coverage lasts for 12 plus hours on me. Careful to only use a small amount and blend carefully. The SA did tell me when I bought it that it was important to blend it like I would a foundation and not just smooth it on the skin like a moisturizer. It never completely absorbs into the skin like a moisturizer, but acts more like a foundation. It never feels like it sets, but I don't have problems with wipeoff. I have blotchy red skin from Rosacea and this does a nice job of evening things out. I like the smell, but can easily see how other would be bothered by it. Having used many tinted moisturizers over the years, this is the only one I've been tempted to buy again. Not sure why Origins is so adamant in their sales and marketing that this is a moisturizer and not a tinted foundation.

I'm very skeptical about any product that alludes to the promise of eliminating wrinkles. When they do work, it's only temporary, and rarely is it truly effective. I was convinced to try this product due to the high % of AHA's. % wise it is close to the quality of products used by professionals. It's my guess that the type of AHA's aren't as strong, but the evidence is in the results. The first time I used these pads, (on my face and hands) I left it on for 3 minutes. After neutralizing with water I had quite a bit of stinging on my hands of all places. I have moderate Rosacea (under control medically) and fairly sensitive skin, but I had no burning on my face. Looking in the mirror I saw my usual self, no big improvements. Knowing it would take repeated uses, I committed myself to 1 week. Well I'm really glad I have. Now after 2 weeks of using this I am seeing dramatic improvements to my skin. The expression lines on my forehead are fading! In fact they are completely gone in the middle. Yes, I said completely gone. Even botox didn't do that. My skin texture is as soft as my baby's. My age spots may or may not be fading, but the most dramatic difference has been in my hands. They are smoother and the fine lines that were starting to settle in are no longer noticeable. As a nurse who is constantly washing my hands, they are always dry. Not any longer, they suck up lotion and lock it in, without a crack in sight. After the first use they no longer sting when I apply the pads. I cut the pads in 1/2 and use on my face and back of hands. I leave on for 5 minutes before neutralizing. This is the first skincare product I have purchased, rx or OTC that has truly delivered on it's promise. I will be purchasing over and over.
Absolutely love the color. It's my natural lip color only on steroids. Problem though is it that like other MAC lustre lipsticks it is very drying on my lips. I literally can feel it sucking the moisture out of my lips. I try so hard to like the lustre lipsticks because the colors are so great, but I just can't get over the dryness. The only reason I would buy this again is because I really like the color.
