I have super hypersensitive skin with a little bit of everything--dry eczema/rosacea skin (mostly in the fall/winter) and hormonal acne. my skin is very picky about what product i put in it...and if i find something that works without breaking me out, my skin tends to get "immune" to it after a couple months. it just kind of stops working. for the past year i've been using Dermatologica'a ultra-calming cleanser and Olay's sensitive skin Express make-up remover cloths as a pre-cleanse. after a couple months my skin didnt feel clean anymore after washing it and my acne got worse. than i got liquid neutrogena on an impulse buy, and i have been using it for 2 week. no breakouts so far or anything like that, which is rare for me. i only use it at night, for now. my skin feels so nice and soft after. my skin texture has semi-improved and my acne has gotten just a little bit better, but time could only tell. this stuff works and i highly reccomend it! even for those hyper-sensitive/acne sufferers!

Crème -Almay - Line Smoothing Compact Makeup [DISCONTINUED]

I am so upset they discontinued this!!! Now they only have 3 colors....which doesn't make any sense! This was my HG for years and it never cakes on my dry skin and with a little powder on top you get a very dewy, glowing, natural look. 260 Sand was a perfect color match for me! I happened to find some in a deserted rite-aid somewhere in the valley and i ended up buying 3 packages. Perfect for the winter and even in the summer since it feels very light on your skin but provides solid, medium coverage... I don't understand with these make-up and skincare companies....they always have to discontinue the best products--the ones that work and people love....ugh

Moisturizers -Neostrata - Ultra-Smoothing Cream (10% Glycolic Acid)

This year i was blessed with terrible acne for the first time ever. I bought this to even out my skintone and to slowly clear out my dark, annoying acne scars. I used it at night and when i woke up my face was burning, itchy and i got these little red bumps everywhere. I stopped it for a couple of weeks and used it again, but with a much less amount and more moisturizer. I woke up again in the morning and my skin was scorched! I guess my sensitive, combination skin can't take glycolic acid....it may be too much for some sensitive people. But i love neostrata and their products so for now i'm sticking with AHA's.

Cleansers -Olay - Daily Facials Express- Sensitive Skin

This year I was plagued with very bad acne (I've never had acne before this year), facial eczema (due to the winter) and mild rosacea. I spent hundreds of dollars finding a cleanser that didn't dry out my skin or irritate it. Finally, after months, I can finally call these guys my HG. However, I use it as a pre-cleanse to remove all my make-up at the end of the night and than follow up with Dermatologica's Ultra-calming cleanser and since than I rarely ever get pimples anymore and it removes all my make-up, gently and thoroughly. Highly recommend!!!!

Liquid -Prescriptives - Virtual Youth

When my Almay Creme foundation got discontinued I was desperate for a foundation that would be up to par. I have extremely hyper-sensitive combination (mostly dry) skin with patches of rosacea and eczema, especially in the winter. At the counter, they matched my skin perfectly, i was R/O Peach. I ended up buying it on a whim because i had nothing else. Stupid me, because the next day i out it on and 5 minutes later it dried out my skin even more, and it looked so cakey as it settled into my lines and pores. It looked sooo horrible! After 3 days i was left with 3 PAINFUL cystic pimples and its taken them over a week to subside and heal (still hasn't). Overall they usually have a color match for anybody but very careful!!!
