Tinted Moisturizer -Marcelle - Sheer Tint Fluid Moisturizer SPF 15

I love this tinted moisturizer! The colour (creme beige) matches my skin perfectly. The bottle, though small, has lasted me months as I do not need to use much product to smooth my complexion. This makes is worth the $15.94 that it sells for. The coverage is light, but enough to cover redness and blemishes. It is moisturizing and has a light feel to it, as opposed to heavy foundation. I use this in every season, and it moisturizes my skin, and leaves a dewy finish that doesn't look oily at all! I have never had a breakout using the product, and I use it almost everyday. Sometimes I set it with Physicians Formula Happy Powder (translucent) which sets it, and gives it a more shimmery look. It is a great product that I would recommend for those who don't like the cakey look or feel of thick foundations, but want good coverage and moisturizing effects.

I bought this product while in a rush, and the price wasn't too bad, so I grabbed it without really thinking. HUGE MISTAKE. After coming home, I read some reviews, and got nervous about using this product, especially since most of the reviews mentioned that it made users break out. I tried it anyways, and woke up the next morning with a blotchy, ITCHY face. Luckily the return policy at my local drugstore is fantastic, so that wasn't too much of a hassle. I was also disappointed with this product because, even though right after application it looked beautiful, an hour or so later my face looked extremely greasy. It felt heavy and slippery on my face. After wear, it accentuated red spots on my face, and didn't do anything for blemishes. The matte coverage is really nice, but only lasts for about an hour, then looks blotchy and unattractive. I will not be repurchasing.

Cleansers -Formula 10.0.6 - So Totally Clean Deep Pore Cleanser

I love this product! I was skeptical, as some of the reviews made this product sound like a terrible buy, but I really like the Seriously Shine Free Mattifying Oil-Free Moisturizer, so I thought I'd give this a go. After cleansing my face, I poured a decent amount of this product onto a cotton pad and wiped it all over my face, paying special attention to my T zone and jaw line. Because I read that this product is drying, I put a layer of Vaseline on as a moisturizer after. I went to bed, and upon waking up, I saw a noticeable difference in redness of blemishes. I have continued using this product, and the few pimples that I had have since disappeared, and there are no new blemishes developing! I am very pleased with this formula, and would definitely buy again. I haven't noticed any increased dryness or tightness, even when using my regular moisturizer. The bottle is easy to use, and there is a ton of product, so I won't need to buy more for a while, which is great.

Mascara -Revlon - Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara

I love this mascara! Application is flawless, and the formula is just thick enough, but won't clump. The brush is really big, and is able to reach each lash perfectly. The only issue that I have with this mascara is that is just a little flaky after physical activity. I use this as my everyday mascara though, as it won't flake if I am just running errands, working, and doing my regular routine. It think it's a great product, and I will definitely repurchase!

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous mascara

I bought this mascara as it was on sale, and I was so disappointed! I I didn't make my lashes look like anything has been done to them, and the brush was terrible! I felt that the bristles didn't touch all of my lash, and it left a streaky mess after I was finished the application process. The formula is nothing fantastic, so I have to say that I am not a big fan of this one.

Moisturizers -Formula 10.0.6 - Seriously Shine Free Mattifying Moisturizer

I have been looking for an inexpensive moisturizer that keeps me comfortably moisturized all day. I found this while browsing the skincare aisle in the local Rexall. I had never heard of the brand before, but I was attracted to the packaging and promises of remaining matte all day. I gave this product a go, and I love it! I did notice a difference in shine (for the better!). I personally like the smell, and the consistancy is really wet, but dries quickly, making my skin feel really hydrated! The packaging, as mentioned before, is eye-catching, and really cute! The only problem I have with it is it seems that pressure builds up within the tube, and I had a minor explosion in my purse the other day, unfortunately. Other than that, it works great! I haven't noticed an increase in the amont of acne that has cropped up either, which is great! A great product that I would definitely repurchase.
