I'm always on the lookout for something new for my brows, and had been hearing good things about this, so I decided to pick it up and give it a go... Glad I did! It did tend to photograph lighter than it seemed in person, so as someone with dark hair it looked a little too light... May try the next shade up next time! It was not too red though, which was great, and lasted a surprisingly long time... That said, I didn't like that there was no way of knowing how much product was left, and it took a fair amount of strokes to build it up to the desired "look". In general though, despite my few complaints, I liked it! It doesn't retract though, so do mind you don't twist it up too much.
Absolutely LOVE these! So much more affordable than MAC, and they do such a good job! They also don't shed, and clean up so easily! Base eyeshadow brush: so soft, and blends really nicely, really easily! Deluxe crease brush: I'll be honest, I haven't used it as a crease brush personally, I quite like it for contouring ;) Liner brush: definitely a bit too thick for liner, IMO (but I already have a great e/l brush so it doesn't matter to me), however I love it for fine detailing with my shadow shape, or more often, getting shadow along my lower lashline carefully! Accent brush: I use this for concealer, and it's great for me! Small enough so it just covers the spot you need to hide. Brow brush: I'll be honest, this is the one I have yet to use (because I use pencil on my brows right now), but I'm sure it'll be used eventually! Overall, i say if you're thinking about getting this set, DO IT! I may also be the minority here, but I find the color really cute :)
Loooove this color. I love pairing with MAC Amber Lights for a sort of "firey" eye— Amber Lights (an orangey color, if you aren't familiar with it!) across the lid and Antiqued in the outer V/crease. Looks very pretty with my blue eyes!
This used to be my HG foundation, but these days, I don't like it at all— it's so easy to make cakey, and doesn't match my skintone at ALL. On the plus side, it does cover redness really well. On the negative side, it doesn't last all that well, gets super greasy-feeling (I have oily skin). Of course, it's made for stage/movies/photoshoots so the heaviness makes sense. In all, not completely awful, I'm sure it'd work for its purpose well, it's just not what I need for daily use.
I've been searching for a nice nude for a while now, and I love this. Very pretty soft pink color. The only con is that it will settle into any fine lines; you definitely need to be well moisturized and exfoliate before wear.

I bought this on a whim in my local DS because it was on sale and I'd heard so many raving reviews. No regrets here; I LOVE this stuff. It doesn't add volume like some other mascaras, but it can if you put a few coats on— and no matter how many I put on, it truly does NOT clump! It stays all day easily, and doesn't smudge into raccoon eyes. I'd buy again, hands down!
I used this when I was younger.. It's quite possibly the worst product I've used on my skin. I had TERRIBLE acne, and instead of getting rid of it, it dried my skin out so badly. I want to say my skin cleared up a bit, but I think that was all in my head. Not only did it make my face dry and flaky, it costs a fortune (for a cleanser), and you never run out of everything at once! I would never recommend this to anyone... I actually steer them away from it.
One of my most-used products. It's so affordable overall because it lasts AGES as long as you aren't gobbing it on. My shadow hardly, if ever, creases. It's also a nice, natural color— some days I don't even put shadow on and just apply this to even out my lids for a "natural" look. Would absolutely, 100% recommend! I'm just finishing my first pot after having it about a year (or more) and using it almost daily! I also like how quickly it sets.. You just can't put it on and then come back to blend it.
I've dealt with severe acne for years, and tried everything; nothing could help it without leaving my skin dry and angry. Decided to try this out, because it moisturizes and I was having trouble with my skin drying out and makeup looking cakey. My skin is looking healthier than it has in years, it feels so soft, and it practically glows with or without makeup (probably partially due to wearing less foundation (while trying to hide blemishes!)). I feel better and more confident than I have in such a long time. Would absolutely recommend!
It's a good product, my only real complaints are that the pencil seemed to go on quite creamy to me and unnatural looking, moreso when it's getting closer to the end of its "life", but maybe that's just me! Also, the pencil is pretty short and runs out faster than I'd like. The gel is nice, holds well. I do notice it tends to rub off the pencil a bit unless you're super careful. All in all, I'd buy it again and I'd recommend it to someone needing just a bit of filling in sparse spots and a gel to hold shape; for someone needing quite a bit of filling in (I do) there are definitely better products out there.
