This is the most unflattering shade I've ever seen on my lips, truly. Most lipsticks are too dark or bright for me but that's just personal preference (I could pull them off if I wanted to). This lipstick, however, made me look like I was dying. On my hand it looked like a pretty rosy shade but on my lips...OMG. It was the ugliest brown/gray I have ever seen. I even tried it on my husband's hand just to see and, yep, it looked like a pretty rosy shade (he wouldn't let me try it on his lips, haha!). I am pale (NC15 in MAC) with yellowish undertones and dark hair/eyes. This color just did not work for me AT ALL. This is the only lipstick I've tried that I literally wouldn't hesitate to throw in the trash.

I am pale, NC15 and I always have a hard time finding a nice, barely-there lipstick shade. My lips tend to pull the brown from lots of lipsticks. When the SA tried to get me to try this, I thought I'd hate it. Mauve? In a lipstick?! You mean that purplish color? I am so glad I tried it on though. It gives me a little extra oomph without being "WOW, LIPSTICK" like most lip colors.

Concealers -MAC - Studio Sculpt [DISCONTINUED]

I usually use Studio Sculpt foundation in NC15 (I'm a very verrry pale girl). When I tried this out, I initially tried the lightest color, NC15, but it was too light! That's the first time in a long time that the lightest shade in something was too light for me. So, I cautiously tried NC20 at the insistence of the SA. SUCCESS! It erased my unsightly spots and looked like nothing was there. I have been using it for a month now and I still like it. I sometimes don't have time for full foundation so I just cover the bad spots and I'm good to go. I use an E.L.F. concealer brush but I'm hoping to get a better brush soon. Still, even with a cheapie brush it works well. I gently pat the concealer onto the blemishes after I use the brush to apply. Love this stuff! Expensive but I have barely made a dent in it in a month. It seems like it will last a very long time. I even love the glass jar. It seems high-quality and is much better than a pump (usually dispenses too much) or a tube. I like how substantial the glass jar feels in my hand.

If you are super pale and yellowish (I am NC15), don't try this. I got the lightest shade and it was too dark! The formula itself wasn't too bad but the dark color was too much.

Mascara -Almay - One Coat Dial Up

This is good for a basic mascara, nothing special. I always use it on level 1, since I don't want anything too dramatic. I haven't had any issues at all with clumping or anything like that. I am positive there are way better mascaras out there but this one is "just okay" and could work in a pinch!

I'm a very pale NC15, rarely wear more than a tinted lip balm and I LOVE this lipstick for special occasions! It's about the darkest I can go for lipsticks--it just looks so pretty. I can't do true reds because it looks too harsh (and makes me too self-conscious) but I feel comfortable in this shade. I have dark hair and eyes and super pale skin and this shade just perks my face up. It does look strange when swiped on my hand (bright pinkish, frosty!) but on the lips it's much better. It also is nice and moisturizing. Believe it or not, this is the only true lipstick I own (plenty of stains, tinted balms, glosses, etc. though).

Mascara -E.L.F. - Studio Mineral Infused Mascara

I rarely wear mascara and like natural-looking products. None of this "falsies" type mascara for me! This mascara didn't clump too badly, dried in a reasonable amount of time (but then again, I didn't apply TONS either) and didn't make me have raccoon eyes. It was also easy to remove, so I call this one a winner! Don't expect a dramatic look. If you want natural, this is great!

Blush -E.L.F. - Studio Blush Tickled Pink

I am a very fair NC15 and rarely wear makeup. When I do, I have a super hard time with blush since it shows up very easily and I like a natural look. I don't like to wear too much makeup, so this product is great for me! I got Tickled Pink and it looks just like my natural flush. I do apply it maybe 3 layers deep but for me, this is perfect. I can always put more on if it's a special event but for every day, I do not want to look like I'm wearing blush. I am excited to try some other colors and I'm glad I didn't get a more expensive blush. I will probably never use the entire thing, so why pay 10x as much for a different brand? Also, the packaging does look cheap but what do you expect for a few bucks?

I just got this and figured I'd try it for $1. I can't even use it because it's so thick and dry, right out of the package. Save your money and get something better!

I have this in 00 since I am super pale. I like it because it is not too heavy, not too light...just right for smoothing my skin. If you have blemishes or dark circles, you definitely need a concealer. Overall, I like this because it feels like I'm wearing nothing. I don't wear makeup every day, so I hate the feeling that some foundations leave on my skin.
