Oh my goodness! Yesterday I purchased some new makeup other that the Tint Idole Ultra [ Ivory 2 (C) ] from Lancome that I have been wearing. I wanted to find a product that would simplify my makeup application without settling in fine lines or looking too powdery. I tried this new powder from Lancome mainly because Lancome, for the most part, has been good for me. My sales rep wanted me to try a light powder with some yellow and I said okay. I was not thrilled with the color, so we tried a non-yellow shade. This one was too light, so we tried a 3rd shade after I had tissued off the previous one. My cheeks were so rosy from the friction that I thought this light powder would not cover the red. I was sooo wrong! It covered the red, it is light enough for my skin and it is not yellow! I bought Natural Ivory 20 with a SPF of 21! I also purchased the Ageless Minerale Perfecting and Setting Powder in Translucent and a Aplum blush. All are oil free. The coverage does not remind me of the PUR mineral powder that looks very dry when 1st applied, but settles later. Try it in the stores. I am a blue eyed, dish water blond /gray, fair complexion with redness in my cheeks. I do not mind paying more for foundations as the higher priced ones seem to work for me. SPF 21 ladies! WOW!
I bought this product as the sample package, as I always am looking for a new makeup line. Let me tell you this powder is amazing! It does not settle into fine lines, it does not cake up on a blemish, it does not leave during a hot flash! The coverage is better than a liquid, full coverage foundation from a pricier line that I have used for years. The only problem I have noticed is when you 1st apply this foundation, it does look dry on the skin. This gets better as your natural moisture helps it along.
