I have thick hair and when i use even just a little of this product it leaves my hair feeling a bit oily after it dries. So, I stopped using it and I'm back to my tried and true - Potion 9.

Perfect shadow for going out, not perfect for day wear/work. The white shadow has very noticeable "sparklies" that shimmer, shimmer, shimmer......

Lipstick -Shiseido - Perfect Rouge Lipstick

This lipstick color looks and feels great when applying it. But the problem I am having with the product is that in about 2 hours - even without eating or drinking anything, the lipstick color seems to disappear??? The lipstick turns into a stain on my lips. I love how the lipstick color looks but can't it have more staying power?? I can't understand why the color melts into my lips. When I buy a lipstick I expect it to stay on.

If you want to look like a "natural" beauty - look no further! A few sweeps and my skin looks so much better - smooths my complexion and removes the shininess! It's amazing because the product is so light on my skin that at first I wondered if this was going to do anything??? Hours later my skin still looks great and shine free. Great product if you want light coverage and want your natural skin tone to show through... but not good if you are looking for medium to heavy coverage. This is a very light product, but it does wonders!

Lip Gloss -Burt's Bees - Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers - Raisin

I bought this at WholeFoods for $4.99, and they ran out of "samples" so looking at the wrapper and title "raisin" - i thought it would be a nice berry shade. Came home - and it looks bright orange/red on my fair skin. Not at all what it is advertised to look like. I wiped it off my lips and now there is a nice "stain" - - this is not what I bought it for, but this is how I will use it.

Lipstick -Clinique - Almost Lipstick - Black Honey

Love the color! Color will look great with just about any skin tone. It's very natural looking. Good as a standalone if you need a quick touch of color or a layer over a stronger pigmented lipstick. Because this is an "almost lipstick" - if you need staying power, this is not the lipstick for you. If you don't care - than you'll like this one!

Lost my trusty Revlon silver eyelash curler..so I went to the boards for a recommendation. I am so glad I did! I was a bit skeptical at paying $16.50 for an eyelash curler...but it's wonderful! I curled my lashes.. 8 hours ago...and my eyelashes are still curled! And I don't even have any mascara on! Wow! With Revlon they would of already uncurled hours ago. Thanks everyone.

It's good and cheap! Why spend $$$ for a scrub? This stuff is great. I use it on my face once a week and like to exfoliate my legs with it before I shave.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Panoramic Curl - Waterproof

Doesn't add curl or volume. But, this stuff is truly wateproof. No, smudges, and I will say that this stuff is tearpoof/cryproof, etc. It's a bitch to get out. Get it if you are going for a natural look and want a waterproof mascara, but don't bother if you are looking for an amazing result.

Blush -Stila - Fade Cheek Color

The makeup consultant at Sephora recommended this for my fair Asian skin that blushes naturally when the temperature is warm. It's a pinkish brown tone, that looks very natural when I apply it in the winter (when I am very white) and in the summer (when I have a light tan). I recommend it if you are looking for a natural hue.

Cleansers -Shiseido - The Skincare Extra Gentle Cleansing Foam

I have been using this cleanser for many years, and I love how it feels on my skin - cleans it without drying it out. So, when Shiseido came out with the line for men, I bought it for my hubbie. I tried his - - and guess what, the formula is the same! So, now - I buy the men's cleansing foam, it doesn't smell guy like either, the packaging is cooler and I save lots of $$$! Try it ladies! Your wallet will be glad you did!

Lips -Vincent Longo - Lip and Cheek Gel Stain - Liquid Kiss

A little goes a long way. I use it for my lips - and then usually apply a lip pencil over or lipstick. And you've got color on your lips that lasts all day. One tube will last about 6 or so months, so it's worth it. The stain does have a drying effect, so if you use it day after day, remember to moisturize your lips at night. I usually use this product 2 or 3 times a week, on days that I don't want to hassle reapplying my lipstick.

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Clear

I use this as a brow tamer. It works wonderfully, however I usually need to scrape off the excess using the outer tube. Like mascara, I like to replace this every few months - I'll usually buy it when it's one 1 get 1 half off and stock up on it. It's a staple for me. I don't feel groomed unless I've tamed my brows. You can also use it on your lashes - but it's not that noticeable to be worth the effort.

Highlighters -BeneFit Cosmetics - High Beam

This is part of my makeup staple. I put it up on my browline area as a highlighter and then I apply my shadow. Love it. I only wish that they sold it in a smaller tube, as one bottle lasts forever, and I'm wondering how sanitary it is to constantly dip and redip in the bottle? Anyway, buy one!
