Pressed Powders -Laura Mercier - Pressed Setting Powder - Translucent

This product does exactly what it claims but it doesn't do anything spectacular for me, especially regarding the price. I have relatively oily skin and it does prevent shine for a couple hours but after, I still do have to reapply. The powder itself is pressed lightly so you don't have to apply much pressure with the brush to get much product and it goes on your face with a slightly white tint but with some blending, it'll go away. It has a nice soft application and stays matte for a couple hours. The powder also started to fall apart in its pan which makes it inconvenient especially if I want to put it in my purse. I've been using this for a couple months and I've already started to hit pan so for the price I've paid and the performance of this powder, I don't think I'll be repurchasing this.

Eye Makeup Remover -Etude - Mascara Cleaner
rated 4 of 5

As with most Etude products, extremely cute packaging. It looks just like a bottle of mascara though the brush is more like a comb where you apply the white gel-ish mascara remover onto your eyelashes then clean the comb with a tissue before putting it back into the tube. This makes it SO much easier to remove even the most waterproof mascaras without too much rubbing, therefore, making it gentler on the eyes & eyelashes. It doesn't take much of this product to coat all your lashes so I expect it to last me a good few months. The only problem I have with this is that I once got it in my eye & it did sting a bit so make sure to be careful not to get it in your eyes! Overall, I would recommend this to people who don't like tugging on their eyelids/eyelashes. Will probably repurchase again!

Eye Primer -Etude - Proof 10 Eye Primer
rated 5 of 5

This is the best eye primer I've used so far. I've used a sample of Urban Decay's primer potion & they both work well but this is so much cheaper & works just as well. I buy this online since there are no Etude House retailers here but it is still well worth my money. I have oily lids & by the end of the day, there isn't any creasing in my eyeshadow and my eyeliner on my top lid is still in place. It is sort of a gel-ish consistency which is easy to blend with your finger/pinky. Highly recommend!

Mascara -Rimmel - Volumeflash scandaleyes

This mascara definitely is a great volumizing & separating mascara! I have fairly short & thin lashes & this didn't really lengthen my lashes as much compared to other mascaras that I've tried but it is a volumizing mascara so I had my doubts to begin with so I'll probably end up layering my mascaras. It never clumps & its thick brush coats each lash. Definitely recommend to those who have long lashes & are looking for a volumizing mascara!

Liquid -Urban Decay - Naked Skin

I asked for a sample of this from Sephora before buying it to try to find a match to my shade. I tried it on for the night & I did find that it was a decent match, but not as good as my other foundations that I own. The foundation itself was a nice consistency, it didn't feel too thick & it also had decent coverage. The one thing I hated about this foundation is that it reflects flash & there is nothing I hate more than my face looking like a ghost even though I'm not pale skinned. So if you were planning on wearing this foundation for a night out or where you'll be taking photos with flash, I strongly suggest NOT to buy this foundation.

Liquid -Clinique - Even Better Makeup SPF 15
rated 4 of 5

I love the coverage and packaging of this product. It has a good buildable coverage but I either use my finger or a stippling or buffing foundation brush instead of a paddle foundation brush cause I find that it slightly streaks. Paired with a good primer & setting powder it lasts a good 5-6 hours depending on what I'm doing & I have combination/oily skin so foundations usually just melt off my face. Keep in mind that it does slightly oxidize but not by too much. I usually wear it in the winter where it gives a good glow & the packaging is a nice nozzle tip so it's easy to dispense & easy to keep clean. It's also perfect for summer since it has a built in SPF & it doesn't reflect in nighttime photos taken with flash. This is definitely a keeper :)

Mascara -Rimmel - Glam'eyes lash flirt
rated 2 of 5

To start off with, I have short eyelashes so I'm not usually picky with mascaras. I've also used a few other Rimmel mascara's and they seemed to be okay. This one, however just did not work at all for me. I have the one in black & non waterproof and it weighed down my lashes so much. I tried curling my lashes and even heating my curling wand but nothing seemed to help. I also tried layering it on with another mascara as a base and it still weighed my lashes down. The wand is decent, it's a rubber one which I don't mind though I don't usually prefer this. I'm not going to be purchasing this again. On the other hand, the packaging was nice (a sleek black tube with pink font). Mascara was just too heavy and it absolutely was not volumizing; if anything it was more lengthening.
