I'm constantly on the search for the world's best mascara. I feel like I've tried them all, so when something new and appeals to my desire to "volumize," I have to try it. I think this mascara is fab, especially for the price. I had just finished using YSL Faux Cils Effet and found Falsies much more effective. My primary goal is volume, and this mascara does it. If you want separation, than this is not it. I have to curl my lashes first or the formula is simply to heavy. Also, as others have mentioned the tendency to clump is there, so you're best applying in thin layers. If you want to slap it on and go, than this probably isn't for you, but if you're willing to spend an extra minute and a half for gorgeous lashes, I think this product is well worth the low price tag. I would compare it to Benefit Bad Gal Lash, but at less than half the price!
I have oily/combination skin and am always looking for a foundation that has staying power but doesn't clog my pores as many full coverage foundations can. I have to say, I ALWAYS come back to Body Shop's Oil Free. It lasts months, even with daily use, which makes its pricetag seem all the cheaper (already much less than cosmetic counter brands and nearly as cheap as drugstore brands). It creates great coverage without caking and blends well. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for great coverage in an oil free formula.
Well, I wanted to like this as I like other No. 7 products and find the price/quality to be very good value. I hated it. It made my eyelashes darker as any other mascara would, but that's about the best I can say for it. I found that it could clump easily if you weren't careful and if you were thus being careful, it didn't look like you had an mascara on at all. No volume, no curl. Blah. Disappointed and still searching...

Yuck. I was hoping to have nice, full lashes from this, but was very disappointed. It's okay at first, but throughout the day, deposits clumps of black mascara residue in the corner of my eyes and is nearly impossible to remove at nights (I usually have to go over it about 3 times with eye makeup remover and still have some smudges in the morning). I feel like my lashes are actually a little more sparse than normal when it's not on, which makes me wonder if there's a chemical in it that is damaging to the lashes. I'm always on the lookout for good mascaras that give great volume and don't clump. This isn't it.
I had been having problems with foundation lately, as my skin is oily in the summer. I just wanted something to even my skin tone more than anything, which is exactly what this did for me. I still have to use powder to actually achieve anything close to a matte finish. But, for the price, it does a nice job of smoothing out the coloring and texture of my frustrating skin during the oily summer months. Another cheapie that I like is Bourjois Matte Clair. It's more expensive, and doesn't last as long, but it's better for an actual matte finish.
I have a hard time matching my very fair skin with yellow overtones and dark eyes with powder - usually too pink or so pale that it looks like I smeared chalk on my face. This is a great color match for me and the coverage is great. It stays on without making me look cakey. I'm very impressed. And the compact lasted me 6 months with daily use. Good buy.
