Pressed Powders -E.L.F. - Clarifying Pressed Powder

I had originally been using Maybelline's Fit Me pressed powder. However, seeing as it is the summer & I live in Texas, I started realizing that their powder was doing nothing to control oil on my face (at all). I had recently watched a Bree Essrig video where she used this powder, & upon remembering this at H-E-B, decided to pick it up. I ended up being the lightest shade, Ivory (this never happens). I tried it the very next day and was amazed! It controlled oil incredibly well and felt so light on my skin. It did not leave a powdery look at all and I was pleasantly surprised with how well this product worked. I'll definitely be purchasing this again

Tools -Urban Decay - Grind House (sharpener)

This is one amazing sharpener! It sharpens even my creamy pencils very well and does not break them at all. I've had my sharpener for over a year now and it's still as sharp as the first day I used it. It also looks adorable

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow

I just used this product for the first time today (Bad to the Bronze), and I am in love with it! The texture is solid but creamy, and it is very buildable. I used it with my UD Primer Potion and there was absolutely no creasing at all, a big plus. It's not super pigmented, but with the texture and the amount of pigmentation it does have, this will probably last an incredibly long time, which, for the price, is very, very good. I'd definitely buy these again when I run out or add to the two that I already own (Bad to the Bronze and Tough as Taupe)

Styling Products -Aveeno - Active Naturals Nourish + Style Soft Hold Gel-Creme

I beyond LOVE this gel-creme!! I've been using it for roughly a year now and I always receive compliments on my hair :) I have 2c curls, and this product just makes them look that much better. I just hop out of the shower, scrunch my hair with a cotton tee, then scrunch some of this into my hair, and the result in the morning is lovely, defined curls. I think they've discontinued this because I can no longer find it anywhere :( I will press on, because this product is too wonderful for words!

Foundations -Rimmel - Clean Finish

Really good foundation! It's not cakey, doesn't break me out, & has a really nice finish. The coverage is medium, but I don't see this as a problem, seeing as foundations are meant to even out the skin tone. It feels very light, not heavy at all

Mascara -Rimmel - Extra Super Lash mascara

Love this mascara! It's really buildable and it hardly clumps. My eyelashes curl naturally & are pretty long, so I mostly look for a mascara that'll give me volume, & this does it for me

BB Cream -Smashbox - Camera Ready BB Cream SPF 35

At first, I was a bit skeptical about buying this...but of course, after weeks of considering it, I gave in. I'm amazed at how much I love this product! It doesn't feel heavy on my skin AT ALL. I have skin that is pretty oily and acne prone, so I wore it on a day that my skin was behaving, and I LOVE it. I lIke that it comes in a tube (hygienic), but hate that it's 1 oz for $40...a little goes a long way, so we'll see how long this lasts. Honestly, I'm loving this BB cream so far
