Fragrances -L'Occitane - Voyage en Mediterranee Mimosa de L`Esterel MIMOSA
rated 2 of 5

I've not sniffed mimosa flowers, though I've sampled several mimosa scents. I just find this one weak, and for some reason, turns a little sour on me. I would think that someone with the right skin chemistry would really turn this one into a beauty, but I didn't really like this on paper, either.

Fragrances -L'Occitane - Peach Blossom EDT

I like this one quite a bit. It's a fresh candy peach blossom, but not really sweet or cloying, if that makes any sense. This one works well on me. Pity it is discontinued, but I'm sure one can still find it online.

Fragrances -L'Occitane - Rose Jardin Délice Eau de Toilette
rated 2 of 5

I couldn't wear this scent. I can see where it would work on someone with the right chemistry, but it just turned on me. It's got a very artificial quality that turns worse on my skin. I don't smell much in the way of roses. It's fruit and floral.

Fragrances -L'Occitane - Eau Ravissante
rated 3 of 5

This is definitely a scent I would keep in the refrigerator for a refreshing blast on hot days. It is sweet (probably the freesia), with just a hint of rose. I actually would give this one a 3.5 rather than a 3, because I do like it. It's a cologne, so it's not very long lasting or strong, but it is perfect for the size and price.

Fragrances -L'Occitane - Cherry Blossom EDT
rated 3 of 5
maybelle 7/27/2012 10:23:00 PM

I think I'm a bit indifferent to this one. It's a decent cherry blossom scent, but it doesn't really knock my socks off. It's fresh, not too sweet, not super long lasting, either. I wear it once in while. Sometimes it yields a bit of something artificial in the drydown that I don't like, but it's dependent upon on the temperature and humidity in the air.

Fragrances -Fruits & Passion - Mango Evasion Eau de Toilette
rated 3 of 5

This particular line from F&P (including the Cranberry and Apple one) would be nice, except there is some odd note in all of them that lingers on me, and turns me off. Whatever base these fragrances are using, does not work on me. It detracts from what would otherwise be a pleasant scent.

Fragrances -Fruits & Passion - Bamboo
rated 3 of 5

I actually have a bottle of the old packaging, when it was called "Human". This isn't too bad...it's an aquatic scent that I can actually wear (I turn most aquatics into funky algae). This one works, but it's not one of my top scents. It is fresh and simple, inoffensive. I will keep it because it's an aquatic that works for me.

Fragrances -Fruits & Passion - Georgia Peach Eau de Fruits
rated 4 of 5
maybelle 7/27/2012 6:37:00 PM

This is a pretty nice peach scent. On first spray, there was some unpleasant note that quickly went away (probably the alcohol doing something to the fragrance). Once it dried down, there was a delicious peach cocktail thing going. It's not a fresh peach, if that is what you are looking for, but it's an easy to wear gourmand peach that is not too candy sweet.

Fragrances -Fruits & Passion - Eau de Fruits Vanille Ananas (Vanilla Pineapple)
rated 5 of 5
maybelle 7/27/2012 6:33:00 PM

It's a nostalgic thing, but this smells like my favorite Lifesavers flavor from the 5 fruit flavors...but much, much better. It's not sugar sweet like a candy, and it's a bit creamy from the vanilla. This is probably my favorite scent from the F&P line. I don't think these are stronger than EDC or maybe even EDT strength (they call them Eau de Fruits, so it's hard to tell), but it's delicious.

Fragrances -Prada - L'Eau Ambrée
rated 5 of 5
maybelle 1/20/2012 2:35:00 PM

There are so many mixed reviews for this scent, but that is the case, it seems, for most perfumes. I was leery of this at first because of the patchouli and amber (two notes that, if done wrong, make me smell like a cheap, dirty ho, imo). This one is so delicious on my skin. Definitely a skin scent, but it does last a long time. I'm currently wearing the remnants of it on my wrist. It lasted through a shower and a night of sleep. The amber and patchouli are well blended with the other notes, and the drydown is more vanilla and opopanax on me. I really love this scent! Pity I don't have a full bottle yet. Edit 6/19/12: I have two full bottles now, thanks to being able to get it cheap on eBay. I'm set for life.

Fragrances -Givenchy - Very Irresistible L'intense
rated 3 of 5

Maybe I'm simply not getting this scent. It gets really high reviews, and I can see why. It's a complex, rich dark rose. I would say it is very similar to Yves Rocher Rose Absolue, except this one has a note that turns almost cloying on my skin. It wears close to my skin, and the sillage is so-so on me. Not bad, but not something I would go out of my way to wear.

Fragrances -Donna Karan - DKNY Golden Delicious
rated 3 of 5
maybelle 11/5/2011 12:24:00 AM

This is a nice addition to the DKNY Delicious line, but, for me, it's nothing special. It wears close to the skin, is pleasant, reminds me a bit of the Jennifer Aniston fragrance, but with a bit more sweetness and fruit (and no A&D ointment note). I actually like this one, whereas I didn't really like the Jennifer Aniston scent. I would say that this one is the closest to being a skin scent from the DKNY Delicious line of fragrances.

Fragrances -Donna Karan - be Delicious Sweet Caramel Candy Apple EDP
rated 3 of 5
maybelle 10/15/2011 1:10:00 AM

This one is so much better than the original Be Delicious. It has so many of the same characteristics I do like, fresh green apple, but it doesn't have that strong cucumber/celery note, though I do catch a whiff of something green. The sweet candy note probably helps temper the green plant note. It's not a true caramel, but it's definitely a nice candy, not cloying. It's not my favorite, but I will wear it on occasion.

Fragrances -Donna Karan - Delicious Night
rated 5 of 5
maybelle 10/15/2011 1:05:00 AM

This one seems to get the extremes. I didn't have any expectations, and what I got was absolutely lovely, rich and sexy. The first blast reminded me so much of L'Occitane Labdanum. Didn't DK have a Labdanum as well? I would love to get my hands on some to compare. Then the warm, spicy berries come in. I can't believe I had never tried this before. This one really does work on my skin. I have two DKNY scents from the Delicious line that get 5 lippies, and they are both at opposite extremes, this one, and Be Delicious Fresh Blossom. How bizarre, that. ; )

Fragrances -Donna Karan - Gold Sparkling EDT
rated 2 of 5
maybelle 10/15/2011 1:00:00 AM

This had a watery fruity floral start that was refreshing and nice, but the drydown is weird on me. It smells aquatic (which hardly works on me), but dry herbal spice at the same time, like algae that has been dried up, with a dash of dried grass added. Not super fond of the drydown.
