Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Anti Wrinkle SPF 15

I bought this after all the great reviews and I have to say I don't see all they hype. I have acne prone skin that tends to be oily in the tzone and dry everywhere else. This left my skin parched so that I had to start using a serum underneath just to keep it hydrated and not flaky. I also had to slather on WAY more product that I do with other moisturizers. To be fair I started using this in the colder months but I'd rather just try something else when it runs out. Maybe if you live in a warm climate it would work for you but not good for Maritime fall/winter.
Bronzers -Estee Lauder - Bronze Goddess Exotic Bronzing Blush

Let me say that as a broke girl this was a lot to spend on a product but fell in love once I tried it. I'm fairly pale (mac nc 20). Bronzers tend to look fake or dirty on me and peach blush always look unnatural. This however is a perfect combination of the two with a hint of shimmer which surprisingly turned out beautiful. I'd say it is much more a blush than a bronzer but gives this girl who can't wear bronzer a nice glow that I get jealous of on other girls who can. I don't know if it would show up on darker skin tones but looks gorgeous on pale girls.
I lOVE this conditioner. It smells great and makes my dry hair incredible soft. I was hesitant to try it bc I thought Joico was one of those hyped up brands that doesn't really work but this stuff is fantastic. I waited until the bottle was gone before writing a review and will be going out to get more. It rinses clean (important for my fine, thin hair) and leaves it soft and shiny without any added weight
Really like this clarifying shampoo. Though it has SLS it doesn't irritate my scalp. Smells good and leave hair bouncy and clean, not stripped. Just ran out after several months and out to go buy it again.
Hair -Jason Natural Cosmetics - Natural Jojoba Shampoo

Initially I was happy with this product. It was advertised as all natural which I have been using for a few years now and it seemed thicker than most shampoo of that type. But I noticed my hair was getting oilier much faster and couldn't figure it out until I looked at the ingredients. No SLS which is great but it has TWO SILICONES! I didn't even know anyone put silicone in shampoo; not even normal companies have it usually. If you are looking for natural hair care, I'd try something else first. Save yourself my mistake.
I bought this yesterday bc it had no sulfates in it so I thought it would be gentle but it was anything but. Despite not having fragrance listed in the ingredients it has a strong scent which I could handle if the product worked well. Unfortunately the stuff dried my face out so badly after one use that my face started to hurt and itch. Not good. If you want to try this product I highly recommend getting a sample before putting your money down on it.
Ok So here is my problem. I initially bought "soft shimmer bronzing powder" and LOOOVED the colour but didn't really how shimmery it was until I brought it home thinking I had bought the matte. The colour was perfect on my fair skin but I really didn't want shimmer so I swapped it. Then I went and bought the "soft matte" which looked slightly darker but I wanted matte so gave it a try. The colour doesn't work quite as well and guess what...IT HAS SHIMMER! why oh why would a matte bronzer have shimmer in it! I wish I had kept my initial purchase bc the colour looked so much nicer on me. So now I'm out $80 CAD and still don't have the perfect colour. ARG! I'm tempted buy the shimmer one again but I really don't want to spend that kind of cash
I really wanted to like this product. It smells delicious and has no nasty chemicals. But I think it clogged my pores pretty badly. I kept getting bad skin then would switch to a different cleanser and then go back to this when my skin looked normal but unfortunately it just kept giving me bumps under the skin. I tried the toner too and that just made it worse and caused white heads to come to the surface. If you have good skin, give it a try but if you break out easily like me I'd suggest staying away. Half a bottle left if anyone wants to try it out for a swap
Lotions/ Creams -Curel - Curel Continous Comfort Lotion Fragrance Free

I loved this lotion. Within a few days of using it my raw itchy winter skin had turned soft and glowy. Bye bye flakes. And I really liked that it was unscented. The only thing I wish is that it was more natural. Alas, after trying a few 'natural' moisterizers without great results I think I'll be going back to this. It sinks in almost immediately and leaves no residue. Highly recommend it. EDIT: After buying a second bottle a few months later I have to say I'm dissapointed. Maybe they changed the formula or my skin changed but it really doesn't hydrate like the first time. My skin is flaky as if I didn't put any lotion on Will not be purchasing again

I liked the consistency and that product is nature. The smell is very light and nice in the bottle but I found after a few hours it turned a little less desireable. It also made me break out and my skin itch ( but it was winter when I used it so it may just be the very dry weather that caused the itch) Anyway I gave it to a friend who ended up using it but I would not repurchase
the first time I bought this I was in love. my otherwise dry and flaky winter skin turned into a smooth glowing surface. I raved about it so much a friend of mine bought it. Her experience was not great but I figured it was her skin. Skip ahead a year when I rediscovered this product thanks to a friend who bought it and was bragging it up. I remembered how much I had loved it so bought it again only to have it not only not exfoliate but also break me out and make my skin shiny. I gave the bottle away and she too had the same results as me but great results when trying my friends bottle. If this product performed the way it did on my first bottle I would absolutely rebuy it despite its rather pricey price point. But its too inconsistant. It seems like different batches of the stuff don't work and for 25$ a bottle its not something I want to take the chance on again.
Deodorants -Tom's of Maine - Natural Long-Lasting Deodorant Lemongrass

I tried this product bc a friend of mine used it with great success and I loved the smell. For the first week or so it worked great. Nice smell all day and kept my natural body odor down (I tend to sweat a lot). I had been layering it over my crystal stick which I have had good success with but wanted to add a nice fragrance. Well not long after the skin under my arms got really irritated, turned red and started to peel. Glad it works for some but be warned, if you have sensitive skin, this sutff can burn.

I'm surprised people are having issues with this product. My skin is severly acne prone and breaks out with most new products I try but this has done nothing but help it glow. I've only been using my sample size for a few days and can see a difference in the overall texture of my skin. No pimples, smoother skin and a nice glow make this a great product. The only down size is the price. Once my sample is done, I don't think iIll be spending the $50 Canadian to buy the full size. I'll update if my results change

I started using this about a month ago and noticed after about a week that I started to break out way more than usual. I thought maybe it was just me getting used to it but it persisted for the entire time I used it. I noticed my boyfriend was getting a lot of breakouts too and asked if he had been sneaking my cream. Turns out he was. We are both in our late 20's. I'm giving it to my mom who is 70 to see if she has better results.
I love this product! I keep trying new cleansers thinking there will be a miracle one out there but keep coming back to this one. It has no scent, lathers nicely, cleans make-up AND does not leave you skin dry at all. I usually prefer cream cleansers because of the texture but none have even come close to the way this one performs. Highly recommend this for anyone with oily skin that also gets dehydrated easily.
