Blush -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Blush 831E Pearlescent Pink

My skin is pale, cool-toned winter type. I recently bought this product, so I have the newer, coral version of this blush. As many of the other comments here state, the pigment is very strong and is easy to overuse. Additionally, the brush that comes with it is very bad, so I suggest using a different tool to apply the blush with. Unfortunately, the blush is physically very weak, and disturbing the cake to get the blush will produce a lot of powder. It will most likely break if not careful, and I cannot leave it sideways or face-down in my makeup pouch without the powder getting everywhere inside the plastic casing. However, considering this is a very cheap product, I do not consider this a big downer given the nice quality of the actual blush relative to the price. The color lasts my 8 hour work-day (granted, I stay inside and it is a very sedentary job), and if applied in moderation, looks very natural and cute. It is matte, and did not change color throughout the day for me. I applied this over my foundation. 4/5 great product for the price. Definitely recommend despite its faults. It is an extremely cheap product with great staying power, great everyday color, and is a great find if you can control the amount put on your face well. Unfortunately, I will not buy again since I travel a lot, and being able to fit it sideways in my makeup bag without the product ruining itself is important to me. Additionally, I hate the gunky look the casing gets when the powder gets everywhere inside. I leave it outside my makeup pouch, and keep it on the vanity at home. I only use it when I am at home.
Worked well on my sensitive skin. It does leave a physical, whitish tint to your skin though so I tended to come off as too pale sometimes. But since I am allergic to other sunscreens, I'd rather use this and look a little pale than to burn and be in pain! Would buy again, would recommend if having troubles with sensitive skin!
The packaging is cute, and the scent sort of tangy, and a little citrusy. It instantly reminded me of B&BW's charmed life. if you liked that, you may like this one. 4/5 okay. Not a fan of it myself, but ok. Would not recommend to person on the fence. Would not buy it again. If you like the scent, won't stop you.
I really really love this scent! I got it because I smelled it on a friend, and lo and behold, it turns out she got it because she thought it smelled good on a different friend of hers! Anyways, although I have been rather obsessive over B&BW scents, I finally tore myself away from the store to explore VS scents because of this scent. I admit that this scent is fruity, cute, and a little sweet with a slight tang, making it a scent for younger girls. I am in college, and although it does not seem out of place, I am not sure I will wear this past my 30s. It is a young scent. A scent that just smells GOOD. If you are looking for sophistication or something deep in a fragrance, this is not the one for you. It is just a simple, "smell great" scent. It is hard to go wrong with it. Though, I find it to be more popular among girls than guys. I really love it though. I use both the body butter and the EDT. Although the EDT is easy to carry around, I am a little disappointed as to how weak the staying power for it is. The container for the EDT is cheap looking as well. The packaging for the body butter is nice. 4/5 I love the smell. would definitely buy it again. I am struggling between making this my every day scent as opposed to another one of my favorites. Use it and enjoy it when young! would recommend. Label: Love Spell - Cherry Blossom & Peach
I really love the smell of this product. The packaging is pretty, and the naming of the scent is cute as well. The scent is light, floral, feminine, and just plain pretty. It would not smell out of place on teenagers nor adults, nor in professional or casual situations. Even girls that I know are not fond of fragrances (but not allergic) are fine with this smell. When you are tired and you do not want to overwhelm yourself with a strong scent, or if you don't like strong scents in general, this is good for you too. Although personally I like more sophisticated smells like B&BW JCB, Chanel, and Miss Dior 1947, this scent is something I use a lot too. I use only the body butter though, so I cannot say much about how effective layering or how good the other products of this line are. 4/5 wonderful, universal feminine scent. Good for its price, but don't get it unless it is on sale. VS has lots of sales so it would be better to wait for it. WIll recommend for people starting out with fragrances. Label, "Secret Charm" Honeysuckle & Jasmine.
I've been looking for a red nail color that would be flattering for my skin tone for a couple years now, and this one has been my latest attempt. I must say that my search for the right red may just be over! This bold, glossy, red nail polish is very flattering for my fair, asian skin tone, whereas it was also flattering for my friend's extremely pale Irish skin as well. I think that maybe it is a color that can flatter many skin tones easily. The red is not as bright as it is in the picture above, but a bit richer and a bit darker with maroon undertones. If you have fair skin, it does kind of look vampy, but it is still usable as everyday wear. One thing I recommend though, is that you do use a top coat for the finish, as the polish will become dull and leave red marks on paper if you don't. Otherwise, lasts long and doesn't chip easily. Since I have bottles upon bottles of nail polish, and I like occasionally switching up nail colors, I have never really had to replace the same nail color because I have not really finished using up a whole bottle before. However, I will definitely be buying this again, and would like it to make it my signature nail color. I think I will finish this one. 5/5 would recommend. It is a beautiful color, would buy again.
This is a really cute, girly scent that I absolutely love. Although it is pricey in department stores, you can actually get a pretty nice bundle for about $30 at target. Then again, maybe that was a limited promotional thing. But before shelling out the big bucks, you should definitely check that out because that will save you a lot of $$. Unfortunately, although I love the scent I am allergic to this perfume. My skin gets itchy and red when I put it on, so before buying, it is probably a good idea to sample it in a store. Additionally, it is not a scent for everyone. If you know someone well enough, it could be a good gift, but if not I'm not sure it's something you want to risk. Lots of people love it but lots of people hate it as well. 4/5 would recommend if you like the smell, aren't allergic to it, and knows how to perfume in moderation. Would not buy for myself for obvious reasons, but will keep in mind for a cute gift.
Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Expert Wear Modern Metallics 60T Bronze Haze trio

This is a great color combination for everyday wear. It is budget friendly, and works very well with my skin tone as well as with pretty much every outfit. This can be used as a subtle, natural look but can also be smeared on a bit more for a dramatic look. It's stopped me in my tracks several times while I prowled the makeup aisles of target, looking for deals. Every time I pick it up, thinking how good it would beI realize I already have this color. I pretty much wear it every day. The one gripe I have is that the packaging is terrible. The cheap, plastic case breaks rather easily, and the tips that come in the packaging aren't that great either. Not a big deal though, since the tips are easily replaceable. But then again, it is a cheap, drugstore product so for what it's priced, I think this is a great product. 5/5 always recommend. I will probably keep using it even as I get older. It does not look cheap, but decent. The other colors of this line works great too. It's cool, because I can collect lots of different colors.
The lipstain does in fact, stay on for a very long time. As for the 24 hour thing, it is probably a case-by-case depending on what you eat and drink, but in general the color stays for a very long time. When applying, just be careful that you let the lipstain dry first before applying the lip cream, else it all comes off and the lip creams gets kinda gross. Don't worry though, because the lip stain dries really quickly. Personally, the colors are a bit too bold for me, but if you want really red lips that will stay red, this is the cheap product for you. The product is scented as well. The one I bought smelled like rasberries. But even if you don't like the smell, the smell goes away pretty quickly after application. The packaging is pretty bad. It is clean, but the caps make me nervous because I don't think they look very tight. They feel pretty loose, but I have not had a problem with it spilling everywhere yet. 3/5 could recommend depending on the person's need, but personally won't be buying again. Not a bad product, but there are better out there.
Lotions/ Creams -Crabtree & Evelyn - Wisteria Body Lotion

This is a very easy to use, nice smelling lotion. It is easy on the skin and not very expensive either. The packaging is cute and easy to use. Unfortunately, I did not like the smell so I will not be buying again. However, whenever I had it on, people complimented me on it so it must smell nice. I won't buy it myself, but I can recommend it.
Eyeliner -Sephora - Retractable Waterproof Eyeliner
masamim10 3/5/2013 12:44:00 PM
This product is easy to use, stays pretty well, and does not smudge. I would say I love it if it weren't for the fact that the pencil tip manages to break easily, and also if the product didn't get stuck after the first few weeks of use, and would not retract anymore. I have tried it twice, and both times the lead just gets stuck in the pencil after little use, and I have wasted at least half a pencil both times. I'm sorry, but this thing isn't cheap, and I am not willing to pay the steep price to get a little bit of a good product that doesn't last. Would not buy again. Would not recommend. 2/5 because the product itself it good. Just the packaging is horrible so it ruins any good points the quality of the eyeliner might give.
This soap smells great, and was great for my skin when I was getting rashes and burns from a sunscreen allergy one summer. However, now that my skin has returned to normal once I found out what was causing it to act up, I probably won't buy it again. I got one of the really big cakes of soap for $10. Although I know that L'Occitane is a high end brand and also prides itself as being natural, gentle on skin, and...well... expensive, I have to admit I felt kinda stupid forking over $10 for a bar of soap. It would be good for a gift, but other than desperate times when my skin is in a really bad condition, I would not buy it again for myself. I can clean myself just fine with cheaper soaps, and as long as I have a good body butter I do not really see a need to fork over this much for a bar of soap for everyday use.
Lotions/ Creams -L'Occitane - Cherry Blossom Hand Cream
masamim10 3/5/2013 12:10:00 PM
This is one of my favorite scents from L'Occitane. It is sweet, not too overpowering, and I think can be universally accepted. It is not a love or hate smell. It is a love, like, or neutral smell. The hand cream is a little runnier than I remembered the older hand creams being, but I don't mind so much. The packaging is cute, and although at about 10 bucks a tube, it is a little pricey, a little lotion is enough for both hands, so it lasts quite a bit. The cap always makes me nervous though, as it seems like it might break after a while. I had a different smell a few years ago with the same cap design and that one actually did break after a while. Fortunately, it was thicker and was pretty much empty, so it was not a big deal, but this kind makes me nervous. For that, 4/5
Fragrances -L'Occitane - Cherry Blossom Solid Perfume
masamim10 3/5/2013 12:05:00 PM
The container is very cute, portable, and light. However, it is kind of difficult to use cleanly. The wax gets everywhere after a while, making the container greasy and caked at the edges. Granted, it always smells lovely when I have it. However, it gets suspiciously greasy in warmer temperatures, and I do not feel comfortable leaving it in my purse during the summer or in heated rooms. Additionally, the staying power of the scent is not very good. It is a nice doodad to add to a gift, or it is good for sampling a scent, but not very practical for everyday use. If you want to smell a certain way for about 10 minutes, then it might be good too. I love the smell though. I'd get the lotions instead though.
Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - blushing cherry blossom
masamim10 3/5/2013 11:58:00 AM
This is the one scent that I have wanted for so long that I do not own. Unfortunately, that is because B&BW had discontinued the product before I had a chance to buy it. I think this is one of the few smells that I actually liked in the store. I really love floral smells, and I think it smelled a bit rosier than cherry blossom. But then again, I love rose. It is not overpowering, and I really remember it to be nice. I assumed maybe cherry blossom was the same scent, since I did not think they would discontinue such a nice scent so quickly, and had just changed the name. Back then, I was pretty young so I did not think that one word would make such a difference. It has a different charm from japanese cherry blossom, and is hands down better than cherry blossom. It is unfortunate it has been discontinued. I would buy it if I could.
