This product works just fine as a regular old lip gloss- but DuWop claims that this gloss will also plump your lips up, which is most certainly not the case. The tingly feeling in your lips may make you feel as if your lips our bigger, but if there was any difference at all in my lips, it was very minimal. The gloss itself was also too glossy for my taste. This product was also horribly expensive. Don't waste your money.
The lady at the Bobbi Brown counter gave me a "sample" of this which was basically enough to last several weeks. I was skeptical of the dark color, but it turned out to be really good. It blended nicely, and it added a nice glow to my cheeks. My friends kept commenting on how nice my skin looked, and I attribute that to the bronzer. I approve!
Eye Shadow -Bobbi Brown - Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow in Bone 16

I love this shadow, because it is so natural! Some people below have mentioned that they don't like the way that it disappears on the lids, but it really ends up looking natural and pretty. This is a base or highlighter shadow definitely, but I wear it alone on everyday occasions just to brighten up my eye. The goal of a shadow is to accent your eye, not overpower it, which is why I love this. If you want something heavy, this is not the way to go, but for me, it was perfect. Other shimmer colors to try would include Petal and Rose Gold, both of which are also pretty
Pressed Powders -Neutrogena - Healthy defense SPF 30 [DISCONTINUED]

I did not like this product as much as I have liked other powders in the past. First of all, I don't like the smell, which I can only connect with the SPF, but its not attractive at all. It goes on way to chalky for everyday use, and it sits on your skin awkwardly as the day goes on. I don't use it because it is too heavy a coverage for everyday. This isn't a BAD product, its just not very good.
Eye Shadow -Clinique - Colour Surge Duo in Sunburst

I bought this on a whim, because I wanted a new eyeshadow and the colors looked pretty. I ended up really liking it. The browny color is perfect to wear on any old day, and the pink looks great layered on top. In the package, the colors look kind a strange, almost too "beachy", but on the eye, they look amazing. I would buy again, I suppose, but normally I would find something new and better, being the makeup buyer I am.
I picked this mascara up at the drugstore, after trying someone else's (yes, I know, a definite no no) but was impressed. I needed a new mascara, and was looking for something cheap to tide me over for a few weeks. Much to my surprise, Lash Blast turned out a lot better than expected. I have ended up liking it better than some of my more expensive mascaras (Bobbi Brown, Benefit). I always have had long lashes, and this mascara simply accentuated what I already had. It looked completely natural, something I have a problem finding in mascaras - they always look fake. I'd recommend this to anyone, simply because it's cheap and pretty good. If it was any more expensive, I'd say to pass, because there ARE better mascaras, but the price makes it good to use.
Eye Shadow -Clinique - High Impact Eyeshadow in Foxy

My aunt, who is amazing at picking out makeup, picked this up for me. At first I was scared by the dark color, but realized later that it was absolutely perfect. The color is beautiful. I love the nice shimmer, and it is perfect by itself, and with another shadow underneath. I love this shadow, and wear it often.
I got this shadow as a sample when I got another shadow, and immediately put it on when I got home. I absolutely love it! It is a gorgeous shimmery gold color that looks great and brings out my blue/green eyes. It also looks great on the corners of eyes to make them look wider. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a gold shadow.
This mascara does what mascara is supposed to do: It thickens and darkens lashes, and comes off fairly easily at night. Still, I think BeneFit should have made a better mascara, especially for the price they charge. I've tried better mascaras in drugstores and at other counters for a cheaper price, and was happier with them. So I wouldn't buy this again, because there are better and cheaper products out there.
This is another of my favorite mascaras. It works the best on my lashes than anything else I've tried.it lengthens them and adds curl, and it makes your eyes pop! I would recommend this to ANYONE who asks...I prefer the browner color because the black is a little too dark, but seriously, this stuff is amazing.BUY IT
Blush -Clinique - Blushing Blush Powder Blush - Iced Lotus
maryyelizabeth 7/11/2007 10:26:00 AM
This is my HG blush! I got it in one of Clinique's free gift packs and it was the best free thing I ever got from them! I love how it warms up my face and looks good even with bronzer. It has a tiny bit of shine, and it accents and highlights my cheekbones. I own a lot of blushes, but this is the one I use when I really want to look good, it makes me look 10 times better!!!! I'm a fair, blonde, blue/green eyed girl, and I'd imagine it would look good on anyone with fair skin. I would definitely invest in this blush, its perfect for everyday use and special occasions.
Treatments -Neutrogena - On the Spot Acne Treatment Vanishing Formula
maryyelizabeth 7/10/2007 10:37:00 AM
Neutrogena's first problem with this product is the name. Spot treatment doesn't work on acne prone skin becuase the BP kills bacteria that has not infected pores yet. So spot treatment, theoretically, only should reduce swelling a small amount on the pimple you put it on. This product should be fine to put on the entire face, but I doubt people will do that because the size of the bottle is so small. THEN, this product causes white residue on the face which makes it impossible to wear during the day. As a all over, BP treatment for nighttime, this product is okay, but Nuetrogena's misleading packaging and advice on how to use this product make it one of the worst BP's out there. You'd be better off with Dan Kern's BP on acne.org
This is supposedly the absolute best cleanser out there, but I have to disagree. I started using this when i was 12, and all it did was dry up my skin for a year until I wised up and stopped buying this dumb cleanser. The SA content in it isn't enough to prevent acne, and the other ingredients are way to drying to be of any use. My advice for people using this cleanser is to try a water soluble cleanser instead of this junk. This is yet another acne product out there that does more harm than good. You'd be better off with Cetaphil gentle cleanser.
Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Pink Grapefruit Body Cream
maryyelizabeth 7/9/2007 9:35:00 PM
This is a great lotion, and it smells super amazing! it's perfect for summer, and it adds a nice scent to you. The scent does stay for awhile, but I doubt people would notice. Still, its worth the buy.
I have been through so many acne treatments, I was skeptical trying this. But I absolutely LOVE this BP. It's been great keeping my acne under control, and I actually like the goopyness of it, even though it takes a little bit to dry. Unlike so many other BPs I've tried, this one did not cause too much flakiness, though it does cause a small amount of dryness. My advice for poeple using this and getting flaky skin is to reduce to once a day or using baking soda and water as an exfoliant. I've tried so many acne treatments, including Proactiv, Clinique, Nuetrogena, you name it, and nothing has worked as well as this gel. My acne hasn't disappeared, but it has gotten a lot better. I also love the cleanser from this line. Before you try anything else, try this stuff, its AMAZING!!!
