Tinted Moisturizer -Wet 'n' Wild - Ultimate Sheer Tinted Moisturizer - Buff

For the price, this is awesome. It applies well and gives me a glow, and i have combo skin. No breakouts and the coverage is actually medium and buildable. The only thing is, it starts squirting out of the packaging once you get to a certain point.

Powder -Christian Dior - DiorSkin Compact Makeup

This is such a soft and beautiful feeling powder; it does nto cake or accentuate any dry spots on my combo skin BUT the color selection is so limited that you may have to err a bit. It also tends to oxidize but if you can get a color match then it is a lovely powder

Crème -Cover Girl - AquaSmooth SPF15 Make-up

This is a cream foundation that is easy to apply but does accentuate any dry skin or areas that you have so it may not look the best. The colors are very limited, which is a big negative. It requires powder to set it otherwise you will end up a greasy mess by the end of the day. for the price it is nice, but it does have sunscreen in it which not everyone can tolerate/likes.

Hair Styling Tools -GHD - IV Styler (all sizes)

This is an amazing flatiron. I have used and loved the CHI and then that shorted out on me due to my mistake--took it to england and tried to use it :( Then got a HAI and that was ok; my CHI was lighter and seemed smoother and the great thing was, it could curl while my HAI could not. So i was hunting for a new one and came across rave reviews for GHD. MY cousins in england all have GHDs and love them so now when i was looking for a new iron, i knew GHD would serve me well. Yeah it is crazy expensive and looks an awful lot like the CHI--when i received the GHD i was a bit annoyed at myself, thinking i just paid double the price for something that looks and maybe preforms as well as my CHI. BUT this iron is very very different. It is sooooo light, forst of all! That makes it excellent for passing through your hair or curling; my HAI was so heavy i hated weilding it. The GHD heats up super fast and i only have to do one pass and my hair is straight. ALso, no static! That was an issue with my CHI--it would make my hair so so staticky but the GHD just gives you pantene-commercial smooth and silky hair. And best of all, the 1st time i used it, i went out and it was snowing...huge, big, wet, snowflakes came down on my just straghtened hair and i had to walk for a good 10 mins in it and guess what? The hair straight smooth and straight and commercial worthy.

in a word: awesome!! this serum is truly fantastic and leaving me with soft, shiny, frizz free hair and the best thing is, it never weighs down my fine hair and even on the 2nd day, my hair does not feel coated or like it has a film on it. totally worth the price tag.

This product is almost like a gel and tends to weigh down my fine hair a bit and leaves it feeling coated. It does work at making the hair stay flat but i just didn't like the feel of it in my hair. For the price, i'd rather buy from Kerastase, as their serum nutri instant works waaaay better and leaves my hair shiny, soft, friss free and best of all with no weight.

a great gentle clarifier...the name has changed to citrus sage and it smells wonderfully fruity and it cleans without stripping my hair or making it feel dry or tangled.

love this! as recommended by a user below, i use it a aleave in and it leaves my hair soft, shiny and moisturized without weighting it down. It is not sticky or gummy to me at all and the only negative is the price but it's worth the $$$.

amazing shades and definately comparable to MAC pigments! super easy to apply and with the right base, they last all day and give amazing colour and shine. the tubs/stacks that they come in are a bit annoying but for the price, they're an awesome deal. i find the best base for them is the faces body bling--makes them vibrant and last all day.

Lovely, lovely brush. So soft without being fluffy or floppy and firm without being stiff or pokey. It applies my loose powder and powder foundation like a dream and literally makes everything so easy and foolproof. Yes, it's $$$ but worth it. EDIT: 9/21/06--okay i have to downgrade this because its shedding like mad!! everyday, a bunch of hairs shed and i've only had it a couple of months. quite dissapointing. could just be my brush as no one else has complained of this.

This was just okay; it smeells great and lathers well but weighs down my hair and so is probably too heavy for my hairstype.

I have fine hair that gets greasy fairly quickly at the roots and this shampoo made it get oilier even faster! It also felt like it left a film on my hair and so my hair never felt clean. Didn't work for me all that well at all.

Shampoo -A/G - ReNew Clarifying Shampoo
rated 5 of 5
maryam 8/11/2005 12:23:00 PM

This is an excellent clarifying shampoo! I had been using Nexxus' Aloe Rid but found it too stripping and drying to my hair and so was looking for a new clarifying shampoo that would clarify, chelate, and leave my hair feeling like it hadn't been stripped and this one satisfies all three conditions. It lathers up well and you need the smallest amount to do so; it smells great, and removes buildup and mineral deposits to leave hair shiny, full, and clean.

Totally 2nd everything lanae87 said! I have fine hair but lots of it and it's very hard to find styling products that add shine and make my hair feel soft without making it feel greasy or 'siliconey.' This product kills frizz for me and adds texture and shine without any heaviness or greasiness. Works on both wet or dry hair, and you need such a small amount that it'll last you forever.
