I have oily acne prone 40YO skin - i.e., it's delicate, starting to wrinkle, but still shiny. This product is great for removing all the oil (like after a workout), without drying the skin out. It seems to help fight acne by keeping my skin really clean. My purchase source of this product closed, so I switched to Bliss Oxygen mask. The effect is about the same, but the Reviva is so much cheaper.

Liquid -Almay - Almay Truly Lasting Color longwear makeup

I have OILY skin with wrinkles (canyons?) forming around my eyes - I'm in my 40's. Powders and makeup aimed at oily skin really looks awful and cake in the wrinkles; and at the end of the day, such make-up starts disintegrating and looking funky in my pores (craters) . Almay TLC actually doesn’t accentuate my wrinkles and lasts to the end of the day except for the very tip of my nose (I blow my nose a lot). I only blot a couple of times a day. It looks so natural that you might think it isn’t covering, but none of my roscecia shows. I do like a little of a “made up” look – so for me, the overly natural look is a negative ;-) The only real down side is the color is not super yellow. I wear the Sand which is a little bit darker than a lt-medium biege. It is the most yellow of the line, but it ends up looking a little peachy beige on me. It still is best make-up for my skin I have found yet though – so I will continue to wear it.

Liquid -Maybelline - Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Foundation ] ] [DISCONTINUED]

The color was the main plus. Medium 2.5 is really really yellow - but it was still a little too dark. I am a lt-med olive (not asian or hispanic though). I lighten up in winter and tan dark in summer. Beige is too gray or too pink or too peach for me (depending on manufacturer.) If this had been just a smidge lighter it would have been perfect. I thought it covered very well (I have problem with roscea). Edit: I did try a lighter shade, which did match, but my skin is just too oily. After a few hours, I'm a grease pit.

I LOVE this makeup. I have oily wrinkly skin with lots of red. It covers well, but doesn't sink into the wrinkles. I have 105-Honey Beige. It's a nice yellowish tan - great in the summer. But what do I do for the winter! The medium color is WAY too pink. They need more shades.

Lips -Vincent Longo - Cheek & Lip Stain

Is I nice even stain without being that drying. I do agree that you need to use a lip balm first if your lips have any dry spots. I do get more than 3 hours wear. I also like to layer it with a real sparkly lipgloss. This is also useful for expanding lips (i.e., like lining your lips outside your lip line) - a trick they recommend to those of us above a certain age. But using lipliner makes it look stupid. THis stain looks great instead! I have Cupid's Breath (favorite) and My Sunshine (a little redder than Cupid's Breath). They lighten up as they dry. Enjoy!

Lips -Bourjois - Lip Stain Pen

I bought a couple of colors, including Framboise Bonheur, and liked the look/feel/etc. However, the applicator LEAKS easily - but not obviously. I get done making my lips all beautiful, and then notice a spot on my shirt, etc. So do NOT recommend it.

Gels/Soaps -L'Occitane - Amande Cleansing and Soothing Shower Oil

LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I use it for SHAVING my legs. Very soft and sexy. Unlike some of the new moisturizing skin "conditioners", it does NOT clog the razor or clog the drain. I have OILY skin, but my legs are a dry. It makes me silky, without making me feel sticky. In humid Dallas, Texas, that is important. I'm addicted. Holy Grail level. PS: I have not tried using all over because I'm too oily for that. ADDition: They now have a new grape scent shower oil too. It reminds me of BLISS Plum Plum or B&B Cherry

Primer/ Corrector -DHC - Velvet Skin Coat

This stuff is great. I have oily, flaky skin. Not good for foundation OR for eye shadow. I cover my whole face, including eye lids, with just a LITTLE bit. Amazing impact on ability to glide foundation on and shadow not creasing. BUT.... you have to wash your face well and use masks because it works by plugging the pores (great for flawish finish, but for acne). I can keep my face acne free, but it is no small feat when using this primer. The reason I think it is too expensive is that CVC use to carry a brand (they just discontinued) that was the exact same thing, but cost only about $8. too bad CVC discontinued it. So... enjoy, but don't forget those face masks.

Liquid -DHC - Water based liquid foundation

I have oily delicate skin. Such skin is big issue in Dallas Texas in the summer. This makeup seemed to be just what I needed, but.... It starts getting greasy in short time. I could achieve the coverage I needed. It felt good. Color was good (I wore palest yellow color). But once the oil started in, it started separating (the powder became obvious). Note: It might work for those with less oily skin. It is WATER based, NOT alcohol based, so should work even for sensitive skins. It just isn't going to work where there is high humidity.

Yuck. It made my face greasy pretty quickly and did not feel good (I have sensitive oily skin). Save your money!
