Foundations -Unlisted Brand - Lucy Minerals Foundation

Before I found this makeup I thought Colorstay was the only answer for full coverage, but it takes me forever to apply correctly and I missed using a mineral makeup. I had used Everyday Minerals in Medium a few years ago, but my skin had become more dry and it no longer worked as well. I think Lucy colors are generally darker than EM; I got samples of medium, light medium, and bisque. The bisque was surprisingly the best match, although it's a bit yellow. I mix water and jojoba oil and wait until it dries, then I tap the foundation on with the Lucy flat top buffer brush. I've found that I don't really need the finishing powder. On my first order, the bisque I received was off color compared to the sample but after a quick e-mail they had no problem shipping me a new one. Great makeup at a good price and wonderful customer service.
After numerous disastrous run-ins with liquid makeup in the past, I was hesitant to try Colorstay, but thankfully I was swayed by a YouTube video review. This makeup is the first in years that has given me the illusion of clear, healthy skin. I have acne and scarring that I am constantly trying to cover, and I finally found something that literally makes my flaws disappear. I switch between different shades/mixtures of shades during the year as my tan develops and fades, but I find that many colors are very forgiving and do not oxidize on me. Although I don't have oily skin, I use the type for combo/oily skin and it works perfectly as long as I prep with moisturizer. If I want heavier coverage, I use a brush or a dry sponge; for lighter coverage, I use a damp sponge, and I always apply in layers for a more natural look. My coworkers actually told me how lucky I am to have such perfect skin without needing to wear makeup and I was astounded! I set it with a light dusting of Johnson's Lavender Cornstarch powder and it lasts ALL DAY... it even lasted through four hours of body surfing without a single need for a touch-up. I no longer fear getting caught in the rain! If you are looking for medium to heavy coverage with a natural look that lasts, take this for a spin.
I LOVE this color! It can only be described as blurple: sometimes blue, sometimes purple. Yes, it took three coats to become opaque, but it was worth it. Not one to comment on durability because nothing stays chip-free for longer than an hour on me. Bright, shiny, and fun!

When my mineral makeup settled into my fine lines on my forehead (how embarassing) I thought I'd look into using a primer. I'd never used one before but after reading the reviews here I found myself in the feminine hygiene aisle picking up a tube of this gel. How wonderful! My makeup slid on effortlessly, stayed where it was supposed to, and fine lines were nowhere to be found! Also, I am very prone to breakouts but lo and behold-- nothing! I used this on my wedding day and my pictures look natural and amazing. I would repurchase but I don't see myself ever running out of this as I am lazy and only bother to use this for special occasions.
Eye Shadow -Clinique - Colour Surge Duo in Sunburst

I never would have bought this due to the fact that I have very cool toned skin that doesn't ever get along with warm peachy colors, but after getting this as a gwp I've used it pretty much every day! The tan color is a perfect base, and when I layer the orange over it it just looks so healthy and natural! Clinique e/s seems to last me forever even with constant use, it's packaged well, and it never fades or creases on me. Definitely worth a try!
I bought Hobacare jojoba oil about six months ago and it was the best thing I ever did! Originally I bought it because I started using a new acne cream that was very drying. I used it all over my face every morning, and I experienced a complete disappearance of flaking! My skin was very soft and supple, and I still use it around my eye area although over the summer it made me a little too shiny in other areas. I have extremely dry skin on my arms and legs especially and I had used baby oil after each shower for about 10 years, but once I tried this I couldn't go back! I rub a few drops into my damp skin for amazingly moisturized skin everywhere! It also works great as a massage oil, it's so natural and never causes breakouts. I bought the 250mL bottle and in six months I have barely used a quarter of it. Lasts forever! I can't live without it.
This is my all time favorite mascara! I actually like how thin it is because it NEVER clumps and my lashes always look perfect with little effort. I'm kind of a lash perfectionist and I can't stand when mascara is too thick and you have to stop applying it to unclump or to seperate lashes that shouldn't be stuck together (if that makes sense)! This adds the perfect amount of length (but not too much volume) and I don't even have to curl my lashes for them to look flawless. I've never experienced any flaking or smudging-- I even applied this for my wedding day and my lashes still looked perfect in those late night photos!
I was in VS to quickly return an item and on the way out the door, I sampled this moisturizer. After visiting two other stores and constantly smelling my hand, I turned back around to purchase this and the body spray! The scent is so fresh and light I can't get enough of it! Like another reviewer stated, it isn't extremely moisturizing, but it does leave my skin feeling extra smooth! I would say it is kind of expensive for what it is, but I got the items buy two get one free, plus they came with a pretty makeup bag containing two smaller lotions and a full size lip gloss (i'm a sucker for those free bags)!
