This is one of the prettiest mascara tubes I have seen IMO, but the mascara did not live up to my expectations. I was expecting a mascara that would at least not clump, and give me some volume. It did the opposite, it clumped within one coat and as i tried to layer it, I kept hoping it would result in some volume at least but my eyelashes laid pretty limp even after a flicking the wand through my lashes (still one coat). I didn't go crazy with it, so I am pretty sure I did not put enough on to weight down my eyelashes, it just simply didn't do anything for them except clump them together, very easily I might add. It made it look as if I had 4 eyelashes on each eye because it clumped a bunch of them together. I also had little white things on my eyelashes? are these supposed to be fibers? it was not a good look and the biggest letdown was how clumpy it was for sure. I had high hopes but would not buy again.
Misc Beauty Tools -E.L.F. - Mechanical Eyelash Curler

To me this is just a basic eyelash curler, if you don't want it to pinch try to adjust it a bit to your eye. It serves its purpose and I really like the pressure from the handles if that makes sense? I would repurchase again if I lost it since it is only a dollar. Not a miracle product but I really do like the way it fans out my eyelashes.
I am reviewing the most recent release from the apres collection I believe. I walked into MAC looking to browse, not having any idea of what collections might be out etc. When I saw this, I was surprised to see the ever so popular stereo rose so I had the MAC artist try it on my cheeks. Absolutely beautiful, it makes my cheeks feel glowy but not shimmery and it lasted on me for about 6 hours after that I didn't really notice if it remained on my cheeks. I like to use it as an eye shadow as well and it gives me color, as opposed to normal highlighters which I love. This is why I categorize it mostly as a blush. I would repurchase again, but I don't think I will have to.
I wanted to love this blush but it is too similar to my NYX terracotta, which is way more pigmented IMO. Nars Luster accentuated my pores and made me look too orangey, and I usually like orange type blushes. I simply wasn't pleased with the performance, I returned it back to Sephora because it was too shimmery for me. If you want a dupe try NYX terracotta, I believe it is a bit darker, but they are so similar on my face!
Palettes -Too Faced - The Return of Sexy Eye Shadow Palette

I wanted to love this palette so much but in the end I returned it. There were a few gems in the bunch and it's a shame that some of the colors barely had any color payoff and made my eyes itchy from the fallout. I feel if the palette contained less shimmer bombs ( I didn't spot much glitter just shimmer) this palette would have worked out better, do'nt get me wrong though I love a little pizzazz in my eye shadow, but maybe 3 of the colors were hard to work with even when used wet. It came with a very smooth eyeliner though and I might purchase that separately in the future.
Cleansers -Josie Maran Cosmetics - Bear Naked Wipes
marisol24 1/4/2013 3:03:00 PM
I purchased this during the Sephora black friday 10 day wonders sale. It came with nail polish wipes and the makeup removing wipes. After using these for about a month ( I didn't use them daily) I feel my face has gotten tighter and way dryer, I am not sure if these are the reason why my skin has become so dry all of a sudden, but I am going to stop using them anyways. They don't really smell like grapefruit to me, and they smell very similar to the nail polish wipes which makes me hesitant to continue use. Overall I felt like this made my face sting at times, could have possibly been the culprit for my recent dry skin and I think its weird that I never see the makeup on the wipe. It makes me feel as if it isn't really removing anything? I would not repurchase again, even at ten dollars from black friday.
Beautiful product. This was the last one on my shelf display at walgreens, and was contemplating whether to get red vino as well, but I am glad I bought corralina. The shimmer is not bad, it might seem excessive when swatched, but I do not see it as much on my cheeks. This product is very pigmented, I could tell from the moment I lightly swatched the top part of the blush. The brush is pretty useless, but w/e. I am def going to check out more colors. :)
Beautiful color, and a great MLBB for me. I like that it's an actual MLBB and does not dissapear on my lips, I like to layer it with the smallest bit of gloss to help it stay put. I would buy again.
Blush -Bobbi Brown - Pink Raspberry Pot Rouge ] [DISCONTINUED]
marisol24 2/7/2010 7:36:00 PM
My first BB pot rouge, and I have to say I really do love the color. The only bad thing is that I feel like I have to rub it in good for the color to not look splotchy, but then after rubbing it in it sort of dissapears on me. I tried blending it less, but the consistency seems too be a little too lite. Still a nice blush, but I guess I just have to play around with the texture.
I love ot use this as an mlbb stain, if blotted lightly. Great darkish red color, I would buy again.
I love this eyeshadow! very pigmented and it's great for a subtle bronzey smoky eye. A bit expensive though but overall it's a great shadow.
Blush -Wet 'n' Wild - Silk Finish blush in Berry Shimmer
marisol24 4/20/2009 4:49:00 PM
I love W'n'W's silk finish blushes, I have pearlescent pink, AOS, and this one. Berry shimmer is my favorite, great color payoff that really does last. This blush is generous too a little over 6 g, and you have to be careful thought with not putting on too much, this blush is highly pigmented and just pressing your brush against the blush is more than enough, A little tough to blend but that's if you put on too much.
My favorite ulta eyeshadow, I love this color so much and you get a good amount ( about 3 grams I think?) It's a pretty dirtygoldgreen color lol, not the best at decribing it but I think there is a pic somewere in productville. Beautiful color overall and I would buy it again, especially since they are usually BOGO at ulta :)
Not the best but It's nice I guess, Does'nt give me much color, and I find it to be the grittiest of the nars blushes I have tried. I ended up swapping it, The color can look nice but it seemd like I had to keep packing the color on and would get a nice glow but not much color :/
I really like the color it gives me, especially with my tan skin. It tends to come out blotchy if you don't blend well, which can be a problem, but just remember to rub in one cheek befor you do the other. Nice color and blush, but the liquidy texture is what deducts some point away from it.
