Primer/ Corrector -Make Up For Ever - UV Prime SPF50

I think this product if better for those with dry to normal skin. I little goes a long way otherwise it casts a whitish shadow and will take longer to dry. This is not like other silicone primes, but it does work beautifully under makeup with the added bonus of high SPF. I have sensitive skin and this in no way breaks me out in any way. Going on my 3rd bottle and well worth the $$.
Coconut Oil is the best! Sooo many uses, face, hair, body..you can even cook with it. I love this, and am never without it, I live in Southern California and the weather is mostly warm, my skin loves this and like all other of her oils, less is more. Customer services is the best, everything about this company and the website is fantastic. If you have any questions you can always ask and they are happy to explain.
Packaging has changed to flip top which makes it easier to get the amount you want out and all it takes is a drop or two for your face...spray with distilled water or a hydrosol of your choice and your good to go! There are so many uses for Emu Oil and you can add stuff to it to adjust to what your skin may need.
Shampoo -ARTec - Color Depositing Shampoo [DISCONTINUED]

FANtastic product! It does exactly what it says, which is deposit color!!! As most have said, you NEED to cleanse with your regular shampoo first...then use the Artec color depositing shampoo. Low lather, the longer you keep this on the more color is left behind. I have a sensitive scalp and this one didn't make me itch or break out with rashes which was a great relief for me. Used both Mahagony shampoo & conditioner, it left my hair bouncy & super shiny, will buy this again!
I went into my local Macy's actually looking to try a pink, came away with Rebel lipstick with Beet lipliner! The color looks magenta on me and I love it!! She used Beet because I have a natural line around my lips that's kind of dark and the Beet offset it and looks fantastic with Rebel. Love the color, the creaminess of it, deposits lots of color (stained my lips when I took it off that evening and woke up with some color still) doesn't look heavy but the color payoff is amazing!
This was my go to color back in the day, wore it every day, great staying power! I still wear it, no longer everyday, but still love it.
This is my first time buying anything other than brushes from MAC since the 90's. My coloring is same as KK & decided to try it out. Now I can't wear it alone because I would look like a corpse, but I just dab it in the middle of my lower lip, with a neutral liner & Turkish Delight (Nars) lip gloss and it looks great. I like the consistency of this lipstick, I don't see it as a frost on me. I would buy their lipsticks again.
Lipstick -Julie Hewett - Icon of Beauty in Thandie

Great Lipstick, decided to purchase this after reading about Julie Hewett here on MUAlley and I'm glad I did. Her lipsticks are beautiful, stay moist without separating on the lips and when you take it off, your lips feel moisturized. This lipstick is sheer with gold in it, but isn't garish at all, very neutral, I think different types of complextions will be able to wear this color. I will be buying more!
Primer/ Corrector -Tricia Sawyer - Skin Balancing Water Primer

Love this! Yes most primers when looking at them you don't see them and as a wearer, you won't feel them. This REALLY does not look or FEEL like you have a primer on! I don't know how it works, but it does. This feels light & airy, goes on cool and dries to a finish that looks and feels like you just have fantastic skin. I use Smashbox & Bare Escentuals primer, most of the time I mix them together to get the right finish for my skin. On hot days more BE on cool days more Smashbox. TS primer is just right, dries to a "fresh face" with just the right amount of semi-matte finish with just the right amount of moisture, all the while looking natural. If you have some flakes they will not show through this primer, it seems to balance your skin with out making it look dry. Love this! Will be buying this until she stops making it & I hope that she doesn't!!
Eye Shadow -Laura Mercier - Eye Colour Pot - solid gold

I purchased the Bronzed Gold, while the color is beautiful, after 4 hours without a eye primer on, creased. I did by the brush to go with it and I can use it with other products, love this. I think this is meant to be worn as cream shadow with powder on top and that is how I applied it. The crease that developed was not a horribly obviouse separation of product, but in my opnion should not of even happened. Since you get basically 2 products (cream shadow and powder) for $32.00, it is somewhat of a deal, but still on the high side, I would expect no creasing. I have to try this with a primer and I'm sure it won't crease, but I was hoping for something easier with the warmer weather coming.
Hated this! I could smell the choclate and I hated it, super sweet smelling, luckily I just got a sample! The packaging is cute, but I detest this fragrance.
Makeup Brushes -Too Faced - Retractable Kabuki Brush
mariaelena40 4/4/2008 3:06:00 PM
Fantastic brush, if you have a sensitive face or just don't like animal hair brushes, this is the one for you. ****My only suggestion is to also buy a microfiber towel to dry off your brush when you wash it, it will help with the drying time immensely!! Gently squeeze the water out of the brush with the towel and reshape. It will be good as new!
Loose Powders -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Loose Powder

Beautiful powder, goes on soo silky that you don't even feel it, it literaly slips on the face. Leaves a somewhat matte look, but not flat, really a very nice product and worth every penny. It is a white powder in the jar, but goes on super sheer, if your getting a white face, you have picked up too much and/or are using the wrong kind of brush!
This product is the best around! Turns any eyeshadow or in my case mineral shadows and liners into waterproof liner, love it! Lasts forever, doesn't smudge or budge, worth every penny. The bottle doesn't leak when turned on it's side as long as it's sealed.
I purchased the Orange Leger 14 wanting a sheer coral shade for spring/summer. I really wanted sheer, this this is pretty non-existent color. Extremely sheer, it felt moisturized and non-tacky (which I was thankful for) but disappeared after about 10 minutes. I REALLY wanted to like this product and I'm not a gloss lover, but I wanted something sheer for my soft smokey eye and this was just alittle too sheer. Does have some sparkle and it feels kind of grainy, I think because of the sparkle. While not the most expensive, it's too expensive for the wear or lack of.
