Foundations -Tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-hour Full-Coverage Foundation SPF 15

This is a medium coverage foundation. I hate misleading coverage claims! I have no pimples or skin troubles but I do have freckles and this barely covers them. If you are really are looking for full coverage I recommend Illasque's Rich Liquid. Now with that being said, this is a good medium coverage foundation. It is very creamy feeling and I actually like its texture. The color choices are limited. I have a sample in Light and I dont know whether to buy this or not because I still dont feel like its dark/yellow enough for me, while the other colors are too pink or way too dark. I apply it with the Sigma F80 and it looks amazing once its blended in. I like the packaging and if I were to buy it I would get it from QVC, you get their brush and their foundation for about the same price as you would get just the foundation at Sephora.

Liquid -MAC - Face and Body Foundation
mareihcrooz 10/18/2012 12:10:00 PM
This is my go-to foundation! I've been using it on and off for a while now and I've finally learned to appreciate this. Total HG status. 1. Coverage: I do see how some would call this sheer but this is wayyyy more than enough coverage! I don't have many pimples or discoloration so this is perfect. If you are looking for a medium to full coverage foundation this is a no-no! If you just need something to even out your skintone (like me) this is a win! 2. Color choices: MAC has such great color selections, this is the one thing that I love about them. I am an C2 and it has just the right amount of yellow for me without looking like a banana! However, for this foundation you dont have to get an EXACT match. It's sheer enough that it will blend with your tones beautifully. 3. Application: I sometimes use the Sigma F80 when I need more of a coverage from this. If you find that Face and Body is too much coverage I recommend using the Sigma F82, which is what I use. The F82 sheers it out more plus its my favorite foundation brush :) This foundation is so liquidy it will just glide on your skin. 4. Durability: Its a sheer foundation but I find it lasting longer than others I have tried. My day is taken up by school and work in the evening, I apply this at 8 in the morning and take it off at about 10 pm immediately after I get home. When I get home my skin still looks great, not super greasy (but my skin leans more to the dry side rather than oily) like for example when I was using the CHANEL Vitalumiere before this. 5. Ingredients: It does have Talc which makes my face itch like crazy but not with this foundation. I dont get any pimples, redness, or itchiness which is a major plus! I was using Ben Nye banana powder with F&B and I was breaking out like crazy but I am now using Ulta's Mineral Finishing Powder and it makes F&B amazing on me, plus no itches! I would recommend this for someone who has a hard time finding a good color match, doesn't need much coverage, needs a quick and easy foundation, has normal to dry skin, buttttt get a sample before trying if you have problems with Talc! Another thing, I bought my second bottle of this online last month and I received a 50ml/1.7 OZ bottle. I remember I used to buy this in the 120 ml /4 OZ bottle for $33. I didn't know they came in different sizes now sooo if you want the bigger bottle Google: Mac Face and Body 4 oz and it'll take you the link where you can buy the bigger bottle. I dont see a way to get to the bigger bottle on the MAC website! That's the only downside for me, I was used to having the bigger bottle!

Liquid -Chanel - Vitalumiere
mareihcrooz 9/14/2012 8:56:00 AM
Ok so this was my first HIGH HIGH end foundation and it was very disappointing. I have normal to dry skin and I get flakes around my nose and mouth. When I went to the Chanel counter I asked for something for dry skin and medium to full coverage (i usual wear very sheer makeup but this was meant to be for going out at night). Well she picked this up.It felt very creamy on my skin and I loved the color match, it has just the right amount of yellow and I am a 20 Clair. So I made my fiance shell out the 59 dollars for it. STUPID ME! I should have just gotten a sample first! Ugh the first day of wearing this I was sooo excited but 1) it broke me out and I don't usually get pimples but that night when I got home from school and work I had like 10 zits all around my face 2) I was a grease monkey! I used a primer and setting powder but no bueno. I haven't gotten that shiny from a foundation ever and I have so many tinted moisturizers in my make up drawers! 3) This was not a medium coverage foundation which was fine with me, I could have just used it as my every day foundation if it wasn't for the things I mentioned above. 4) The scent was strooong for a foundation. And honestly, I love scents on my makeup but this is the strongest smelling foundation I have! I could have gotten over that too but too many things went wrong with this. So I am sad to say I am returning this this weekend. I was expecting so much more from this foundation. I can't believe they're calling this a medium coverage either, it gave me as much coverage as my tinted moisturizers! Someone below said this was only for dry skin and well, no I guess not. The only good thing about it was that it had a lovely dewy finish, it looked like my skin, the color match was awesome, and it just glides on to your skin beautifully. Ohhhwell. no hard feelings Chanel. That just wasn't the foundation for me. Of I go to the mall tomorrow. Hopefully I come back with an HG medium coverage foundation! I feel like giving up now, I guess I'm destined to wear tinted moisturizers all my life! :(

Shampoo -Organix - Organix Repairing Awapuhi Ginger Shampoo
mareihcrooz 9/6/2012 1:45:00 AM
I've been using this with the conditioner and I looooove it. The smell is awesome and not too over powering. I has made my hair so soft and it feels very healthy. I recommend this for someone with dry hair, my Fiance tried it and it just made his hair more greasy. Using this has made me want to try out the Paul Mitchell Awapuhi line but I'm a poor College student so that wont be happening. So until I can afford a 25 dollar shampoo I will be at the Organix section at Ulta!

Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17
mareihcrooz 9/6/2012 1:38:00 AM
This is my Drugstore HG foundation. I've been using this since high school and I love it! My everyday foundation is either Face and Body or Dream Fresh BB but I use L'oreal True Match or Smashbox HD whenever I go out at night. The coverage on this is so great that I dont even have to apply concealer when I wear it. I haven't experienced any oxidation so I don't have many complaints. The only weird thing is that they have so many shades (for a drugstore foundation) yet I'm something in between a W2 and a W3. I've never mixed foundation so I definitely wont be doing that. I usually wear the W3 along with Cliniques Almost Powder in a lighter shade than my skin and it works wonders during summer. I've repurchased this so many times and I'll keep on buying! Oh and a little story for y'all, I stopped wearing this for about 3 months and then I picked it up again when I was going out to my Fiance's show for some reason. I applied it like I normally would and I left my house. Well I live in Dallas and my Fiances show was Downtown so I took the train that day. As I was walking to the music venue it started to rain on me! I was sooooo upset, I was dripping wet when I got to the building and of course I immediately made my way to a bathroom to dry up and check my makeup. Well my clothes were a mess but my makeup was completely in tact! This endeared this foundation to me. My makeup still looked flawless and the rain did not ruin my night! So yes I highly recommend this! It's a nice inexpensive foundation and they offer many shades. I wish it had a pump but c'mon guys! We'll be ok without one!

Blush -Maybelline - Dream Bouncy Blush
mareihcrooz 9/2/2012 2:56:00 PM
Bought this when I purchased the Dream Fresh BB Cream and oooooh lordy! I loved it at first but it was a pain to apply. When I was using it it just felt like bubblegum chunks. Its a cute concept but they are not very pigmented. If you are going to uses this you should definitely set it with a powder blush for it to last longer and add more color. Also, my skin isn't very pimple prone but it was breaking my cheeks out! After a week or two of wearing this I noticed little zits and I threw it out. I have normal to dry skin and I definitely would not recommend this for someone with oily skin. The price was not great for a drugstore brand either! And its TINY. I'll give it a 1 because I did like how it looked in the beginning. Pretty much: its not long wearing, not pigmented enough, it broke me out, it was a little pricey for a drugstore blush and you don't get very much.

BB Cream -Maybelline - Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream
mareihcrooz 9/2/2012 1:41:00 PM
I actually really love this. This is a great summer time foundation. I love that it doesn't hide my freckles and makes my skin look flawless at the same time. I use this with concealer around my eyes and top it off with powder. It makes my face look amazing! I am done with heavy foundations for now. This feels so fresh and natural. I was using Face and Body but this is so much cheaper! Totally will repurchase this! The only bad thing is the size, I wish it had more but for the price it's a bargain.

Concealers -Coastal Scents - Eclipse
mareihcrooz 8/22/2012 12:12:00 PM
I really wanted to love this palette but after a week of wearing I have begun to hattttte this profuct I have normal to dry skin and the concealer makes my eyes look old? Its a weird effect that I've never had before? I mean, I'm 19 with no wrinkles but this makes my eyes look horrible and wrinkly. I thought this would be a cheaper alternative to the Clinique Redness Solutions Targeted Corrector but I don't think so. I do like other Coastal Scents products so this wont keep me away from them!!

Mascara -Clinique - Bottom Lash Mascara
mareihcrooz 8/17/2012 3:49:00 PM
So cute and easy to use. I use it with the High Impact and I'm good to go! I also love the packaging, not that matters hahah but yes! Totally recommend this for someone with tiny bottom lashes like mine. Only bad thing is that it flakes a little but not as much as drugstore mascaras I've used.

Mascara -Clinique - High Impact Mascara
mareihcrooz 8/17/2012 3:45:00 PM
Haha so I was not blessed with gorgeous luscious lashes but this mascara helps give that allusion. I was using the Maybelline Colosall Volume before switching to Clinique. The only downside is that I don't like paying $16 plus tax for a tube of mascara butttttttt I will be buying this again. I love how pretty it makes my lashes look without flaking or looking trashy. I use this along with the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara and my lashes look BANGIN'!

Toners -Thayers - Rose Petal Alcohol Free Witch Hazel
mareihcrooz 8/17/2012 3:30:00 PM
I love love love this. I have normal to dry, sensitive skin and this does not dry me out like other toners I have tried. I rarely have pimples but my skin was severely irritated after using Urban Decays All Nighter for a week. So this really helped get rid of my Urban Decay pimples along with some other goodies. For the price, its definitely my HG. I really thought this would stink because of other reviews I read. Honestly, the smell isnt overpowering. It just feels fresh and smoothing on your skin with a cute little rose scent. I totally recommend this for someone with dry and sensitive skin! Its a must have!

Lip Treatments -Maybelline - Baby Lips lip balm
mareihcrooz 8/17/2012 1:57:00 PM
I really like how soft this product makes your lips feel. That was exactly what I was shopping for when I bought this. I was just looking for something pretty that could give my lips a little color. I bought the one in the yellow container and I'm not too in love with the color anymore. If I do buy this again it will probably be just to try out the one in the red container. I will say though that my coworker bought this after I did and it looks AMAZING on her dark skin and shes verrrrrry pleased with this product. ps: you have to keep on replying if you want a little more color though the day.The color goes away (for me) after like 20 to 30 minutes.
