For a little over a dollar a pop (I'm in Canada), you get a great new makeup thrill and a product that delivers and performs as well as those high-end brands. I have the Shameless shade (388388) which is a pale nude pink. It goes on super shiny and the sheen stays on the lips for a good amount of time (I primed my lips with a light rosy lipliner first to make a base). I love it.

BB Cream -Garnier - BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector for Combination to Oily Skin - Light

I'm a fan of the Garnier original BB Cream formula and was curious about this formulation when I saw it at my drugstore. Immediately, I picked one up as the warmer weather season was around the corner and I do get oilier. I've been using it for several days now and it is a bit different than the original formulation. The consistency is definitely thinner. I would apply this after my morning moisturizing and follow up with a light coat of loose powder. The satin-y finish does stay on for hours, even without primer. I didn't get the glowy look like I did with the original formulation but this does hold up and I will re-buy.

I am absolutely shocked and stunned at the low "buy-again" rating for this amazing product. I love it. After my morning skincare routine, I would apply it the same way I apply my daytime moisturizer, right over my SPF 15 lotion. I pat it all over my face then blend with my fingers. I promptly apply my cream blush (using fingertips and blending). Like with foundation, I would set with loose powder then proceed with the rest of my makeup. The product makes my skin glow and I get compliments on how great my skin looks. By not needing to use a foundation brush, I shave off minutes in my morning beauty routine. This product is a lifesaver!

This conditioner leaves my hair very very soft and silky. It can easily rival the high-end salon conditioners!

Lip Treatments -C.O. Bigelow - Rose Salve

Sephora ran out of the Smith's Rosebud Salve so I headed straight to Bath & Body Works to get this baby. B&BW had a "Buy Two Get Another One Free" promotion and I took advantage.
It applies identical to the Smith's version but has a slightly sweeter smell. It feels nice on my lips too and keeps them lubricated which is exactly what I expect from this. I really like it and am grateful it was there when Sephora let me down. It's Sephora's loss!

It cleans gently and cleans well. I saw a big bottle going on sale for $4.99 and that was my motivation to buy it. I am a fan of the Carrots conditioner and this body wash did not disappoint. Love that it's not animal tested either!

This drugstore gem is a great find! It's the perfect neutral: a natural lip look with no hints of pink, orange or red. I myself wear it as a base for my shimmery brown glosses that I love to sport in the summer.
Straight from the tube, it applies smoothly and easily. Pair it with a deep smokey eye look to work the ying with the yang. It is long wearing but doesn't dry your lips out!

Moisturizers -Simple - Replenishing Rich Moisturiser

It's not rich at all. It will make a nice light lotion if your skin doesn't mind it. For me, however, it created patchy dryness for me. That was my own personal experience, maybe you will like it.

Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Slicks Lipgloss in Mauve-Jave Dessert

Warning: The shade looks rich from the outside but it actually goes on quite sheer and shiny. You will not get the deep shimmery plum you see on the tube; you will get a sheer pink-tinted stain on your lips. This is so not typical of Wet 'n' Wild's Mega Slicks as I also have Rose Gold and the famous BronzeBerry, both heavily pigmented.
Overall, it's still a pretty look but just be aware. You 'could' solve the lack-of-pigment problem by wearing this over lipstick or lip pencil. Just don't expect solid color payoff.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Silent Treatment

It's become my most frequently reached-for item whether I want a daytime polished look or a dramatic evening look. Every shade in this trio is gorgeous. Other makeup addicts see me wear this and ask what it is...I love the reactions when I tell them it's Wet 'n' Wild Silent Treatment trio. The eyeshadows go on smooth and pigmented. The color lasts all day on my lids.

This lotion is very soothing on dry itchy skin. The menthol added really adds to the soothing qualities. I'm definitely a fan.

Without warning, my skin became dry and cracked. It even hurt to smile. I picked this jar up at a Shoppers Drug Mart Optimum event and started using it.
It took only a couple days when I noticed a smooth silky difference in my skin. It hydrated my face and took away the discomfort. My skin feels so good when I wash my face too. I don't think it really anti-age-d my face but I love how it made my skin feel.
It is an excellent value for the money too!

Easy application, beautiful finish, "your-lips-but-better," subtle-but-gorgeous shimmer. This lipstick is great to team with smoked-up eyes and cheeks.
