Lip Treatments -Avon - Moisture Therapy Lip Balm SPF 15 (solid stick)

Simply the best lip balm out there!
I have this lipstick in several different colors. I love it! It's very light, which works great for summer. The gloss dispenses just the right amount and lasts a long time. The price is so inexpensive that I can stock up on many colors.

This makes my hair feel so amazing!
Foundations -Avon - Ideal Flawless Invisible Coverage Liquid Foundation

This is great foundation! To me, it works just as well as Estee Lauder's Double Wear Light but for much less money. It also looks more invisible. I got my first bottle on sale for $8.99 and my second for $11. What a deal!
Liquid -Estee Lauder - Double Wear LIGHT Foundation SPF10

I love this foundation. It covers well and feels like I'm wearing nothing all day. It also stays all day. My only issue is that it isn't as moisturizing as I would like, but I can supplement that with extra moisturizer. The price (around $30) isn't even all that bad. Intensity No. 1 works well for me on tan days and pale days. I love it!
Concealers -BeneFit Cosmetics - Erase Paste in Fair

I love this product! It covers up my dark circles so well! The only drawback is that it doesn't blend/absorb well, so be careful not to smudge it later in the day. It also has a tendency to rub off. Overall, though, this is the best product I have found to cover up dark under-eye circles!
God, this is crap. I really expected more from Olay. I thought it would be a clear product, but it's really dark. If I can find the receipt, I'm returning it.
Cleansers -Neutrogena - Naturals - Purifying Facial Cleanser

I love this scent! I think it's my newest addiction. This is a great gentle cleanser. I use it in the morning and throughout the day (scrub at night). I love it!
Moisturizers -Garnier - Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream
mandy117 8/3/2011 10:16:00 PM
I got this on sale at Target with a coupon, so first of all, you can't beat the price. It's a great moisturizer, but I think I'm going to have to use it at night because it takes a while to absorb. It also smells vaguely of alcohol, but it doesn't have the drying effects of alcohol. I've finally found a Garnier product that works!
This is a great mascara! The brush size really is perfect for those little bottom lashes, and it doesn't put too, too much product on them. They just stand out like they should. It's also a great mascara for reaching those corner lashes on the upper lash line. Will definitely use this regularly and repurchase.
This smells a little old-fashioned and kinda perfumey, not fresh at all. I like rose scents to smell like they are fresh out of a garden. Also, the scent disappears on this very quickly! I wish I had tested it. I would probably not have purchased it.
Gels/Soaps -L'Occitane - shower gel with olive tree extracts
mandy117 1/17/2011 2:33:00 PM
I got this at a L'Occitane boutique on sale. For some reason I didn't sniff it before I bought it--big mistake! It smells like stale, wet cardboard. It's disgusting. No wonder it was $10. I wish I could return it, but they don't return sale items. What a shame. I usually like their products, and would even take a store credit, but there's no way I'm keeping this crud. It's nasty!
Liquid -Cover Girl - Natureluxe Liquid Silk foundation in 310 Flax

I was so excited about this product because I've used CG foundations before and liked them, even in between using department store brands. Their colors are also great for pale women like me! I had just been using Revlon, and even their lightest shade is too dark. That said, this product was a disappointment. I can see why I haven't seen it in any stores yet (although I didn't check Target). I had to get it through amazon.com. Liquid silk my butt! It doesn't budge once you put it on. It's actually difficult to move around my face. It clings to it and feels powdery. I feel like I need to reapply my moisturizer and I don't even have dry skin! At $12 I think it's a little steep for CG, especially now that I know the quality of the product. The only good point is that the shade is a decent match for my skin.
Skincare - Body -Avon - Moisture Therapy Intensive Body Lotion
mandy117 1/14/2011 10:12:00 PM
This is the one skin moisturizer that my mother swears by--and she is as cheap and skeptical as they come. She's right in that it is the most lotion for the price, and it also is fantastic! It feels a lot like straight Vaseline, but without the excess greasiness. It's even more moisturizing and way healthier. I noticed that none of my fancy, scented body lotions and body butters had any lasting, moisturizing impact. This lotion does. It's also really easy to order online if you don't know someone who sells Avon, and it took about 5 days for us to get ours.
I have this chubby stick in #4, mega melon. I vaguely remember the old chubby sticks for lips. They were awesome, but I don't recall them being this glossy. Mega melon is not too pink, but not too brown. This is a great idea for a product! I imagine that it won't melt in my handbag on a hot day like regular lip gloss. The color is pretty mild. I hope they will introduce more colors, as I would really like to get more! The only drawback is the price--$15 seems excessive to me!
