Masks -St. Ives - Mineral Clay Firming Masque

I love this. I use it before a night out, and it makes my skin smooth and soft, shrinks pores, and sucks up oil in my t-zone without drying out the rest of my face. The minty smell is very soothing and refreshing. Inexpensive, which is always a bonus. Will repurchase!

Treatments (Eye) -Mavala - Double-Lash
mandolin 6/24/2004 9:11:00 PM
I was very skeptical over this product when I first bought it, but I thought at most at least it would make a good lash conditioner. And it is a great lash conditioner - before using this regularly, my lashes, though naturally pretty long and thick, were a little dry from my mascara abuse. Now they are very lush and soft. I'm not positive if they really are thicker or longer, but they definitely are much stronger and healthier - I don't lose lashes as much when I take off my mascara. Will repurchase!

Loose Powders -Sonia Kashuk - Barely There Loose Powder in Naked
mandolin 6/20/2004 3:01:00 AM
I love this powder! I use it everyday. Keeps my face looking flawless and matte all day, no touch ups needed. I don't apply with the puff the powder comes with, because I prefer a sheerer application, so I use a big, soft, powder brush instead. It has a slight shimmer which I find stops me from looking too flat. The powder itself is a very light, beige colour, neither warm nor cool with slight, barely noticable shimmer. I'm a light, warm toned FFF.

Lotions/ Creams -Nivea - Nivea Soft Moisturizing Creme

I love this. Moisturizes so well, and makes my skin glow! It actually looks like I put luminizer on my skin after I apply this. Did not break me out at all; in fact, has improved the texture and tone of my skin. I only wish they would come out with an SPF version. HG skin care product!

Blush -NARS - Desire

A gorgeous, clear pink blush. It looks very decieving in the pan: a very bright, almost hot pink shade. But on my light olive FFF skin, it's a sheer pale pink and give me a pretty natural glow! One of my favourite blushes. Give this a try! :)

Lipstick -Bourjois - Rose Satine

This is a gorgeous medium-pale mauvey pink...this is almost the exact colour of my lips, perfect YLBB. I use this over a berryish lipliner and my lips look very natural and full. The texture is very smooth and sheer...but if you have an aversion to rose-scented products, this is not the product for you. I'm a light, warm toned FFF. :) I bought this for about 41 dirhams in the United Arab Emirates.

Mascara -Clinique - High Impact Mascara
mandolin 5/28/2004 11:44:00 PM
My new favourite mascara! Gives me lush, long looking lushes without clumping, flaking, or feeling dry. I never noticed how dry other mascaras I've tried are (L'Oreal Voluminous, Maybelline Volume Express), until I tried this. This has a slightly wet formula, but it doesn't smudge at all on me. Very dramatic, yet manages to look natural! :)

Lip Liners -MAC - Lipliner in Spice
mandolin 5/28/2004 11:32:00 PM
Another holy grail product of mine. Spice is a very natural pink-brown. I'm a light olive FFF, and on my pigmented, reddish lips, it's more on the pink side, but still looks very natural. Creamy texture, smooth application. Will repurchase when I run out! :) $13.50 CDN.

Concealers -Yves Saint Laurent - Touche Eclat No 2
mandolin 5/28/2004 11:22:00 PM
Holy Grail product for me. This doesn't give much coverage, but I've found my undereye circles have improved in the last few years, so I can wear just this alone to brighten and diffuse skin. When I haven't had much sleep and my circles are darker, I use this on top of regular concealer and it works fabulously! Shade #2 is a great, pale yellow-based shade that is a perfect match for me (FFF). I use it under eyes, on lids, sides and along bridge of nose, and the bow of my lips. Has a diffusing effect and makes skin look flawless! I must comment on the packaging as well: it's packaged in a sleek, elegant gold pen, with a click applicator. My only rant: this has a tendency to develop mould, so you have to be very careful to sanatize after every use. Other than that, everyone should own one! :) I bought this for 17.50 pounds in London.

Powder -Clinique - City Base Powder Foundation SPF 15 [DISCONTINUED]
mandolin 5/28/2004 10:16:00 PM
This is a great product. I use Bare Beige, the second lightest shade, and it's a great match. I apply with a big, fluffy, powder brush instead of the sponge it comes with to get a lighter application. I don't need much coverage, but this powder makes my skin look flawless, and takes care of shine. My skin is on the dry side, but my nose gets a bit shiney in the summer and this takes care of it. If you need a lot of coverage, this isn't the product for you. Will definitely repurchase when this runs out! :) $28.50 CDN.
