Cleansers -First Aid Beauty - Face Cleanser

I've been using the cleanser for over a year; and at first loved it. Now, I'm just kinda liking it. First, it lasts forever. In a year and a half, I've only had to repurchase this twice (currently on my third bottle). Secondly, It's a gentle cleanser. No harsh smells and lathers nicely. Skin doesn't feel tight or dry afterwards. However, I've noticed that as I'm wearing more makeup, this cleanser isn't effectively cleaning it off my face. I find myself having to rewash my face to ensure all my makeup is off. Although I use makeup remover wipes beforehand, I'm still having to go over my face twice with toner after cleansing. This cleanser alone does not get my face clean. If you're a daily makeup wearer, I wouldn't recommend this for your nightly cleansing routine. With that said, this face wash is perfect for morning usage (provided you've cleaned your face the night before). I've actually stopped using it at night, and instead just use it once a day-in the morning, pre-makeup. If you don't mind using two cleansers, this is definitely one to have in your bathroom.

Fragrances -Burberry - Body

I'm shocked at the initial low reviews for this fragance. It's absolutely one of my favorites. It smells...different. Very clean. Very classic. I'd venture to say that this fragrance would compliment both older and younger women. It's woodsy, yet has a soft undertone--cashmere-esque. I bought the fragrance and the matching lotion, and plan to buy the gift set once it launches. I don't want to run out of this!

Fragrances -Thierry Mugler - Angel

I'm on the fence about this fragrance. It's so harsh smelling when you put it on. You nearly gag and your eyes water. But then, it dries, and you then smell beautiful... and expensive. Whenever I wear this frangrance, I can still smell it on my clothes (or anything else that was near by when I sprayed it), and generally, after a few hours, the smell is rather pleasant. Although I usually layer my fragrance with the matching body lotion, this perfume is so strong, that putting it on over lotion would be way too overpowering. You only need two quick sprays of when wearing this fragrance. I really like the staying power, but dislike the overwhelming scent this fragrance is at times.

Fragrances -Gucci - Gucci Guilty

I think this a great fragrance that anyone can wear. It's subtly strong and can easily transition from work day to night out. The gold bottle just adds to grandness that one would associate with something from Gucci. I wouldn't say that this is the most long-lasting perfume that I own but I wouldn't say that this completely melts off after a few hours. It's subtle so it's not as noticeable after hour 5 as it was when first putting it on, but if u layer it with the matching body lotion, you'll get a whiff of it all day.

Love this cleanser! It's become HG for me. As mentioned, it gives skin a squeaky clean feel (and sound). I've been told that my skin looks brighter and clearer and I know it's because of this stuff!

Gels/Soaps -Ahava - Mineral Botanic Water Lily & Guarana Body Wash

Was looking for a gentle exfoliating body wash that I could use daily. This was not it! There are tiny granules that seems to dissolve eventually while using this wash, but this product didn't leave my skin smoother or softer. As a matter of fact, I started breaking out on my chest and back within two weeks of using this stuff. The scent is ok; nothing to write home about. Although the bottle is rather large, I think that it's overpriced at $22, especially since it didn't deliver. This was the first Ahava product that I've tried, and I was not impressed. I doubt I'll repurchase anything from this line.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Space Cowboy (Stardust)

I got this Stardust shadow, along with Retrograde, as a sample at Sephora. It was great when I tried them together. I went out and purchased Space Cowboy and I am a bit disappointed. There is basically no color to this shadow, just a whole bunch of sparkle all over my lids. Also, this shadow is very loose, and therefore I had sparkle all over my face. (I've had to apply this using my fingers rather than a brush to eliminate it sprinkling all over my face). I like Retrograde--which provides purple sparkle but Space Cowboy though.... still on the fence with this one. I don't think I'll repurchase.

Polishes -OPI - Louvre Me Louvre Me Not

I love purple polish so I undoubtedly had to pick up Louvre Me. It's a pretty purple, but I wouldn't say that it's anything spectacular. It has a bit of pink in it, so it has to be coated a few times before you get a solid color. A shiny topcoat is a must to help this polish truly stand out. I like it... just not running to buy this again when it runs out.

Love this color! My nail salon actually had this color before it was released for consumer sale, so I'd been eyeing it for weeks! Love this pink color! It's very rich and has sparkle that is very evident in light. As the previous reviewer mentioned, one coat is all it takes and you're ready to go. I always apply two coats and found that with this color, it deepened the color slightly, but gave it a very rich look. I purchased 3 other glitter colors from the Burlesque line as well. This collection is definitely a must have!

Mascara -Fresh - Firebird Mascara [DISCONTINUED]

I kinda like this mascara. It applies softly and gives a hint of color. It's not voluminizing but rather feathers the lashes. Big and bold is not always the look I'm going for, so this works nice on days when make up needs to be pretty and soft. I purchased this miniature duo of this and Fresh's Supernova mascara. While I don't plan on repurchasing the Supernova, I am definitely considering purchasing the full size of this mascara when I run out.

Not totally sold on this mascara. I most recently was wearing Dior Show, but that mascara was taking my lashes off. I was recommended this product by a Sephora SA, and although it isn't as harsh, I still wouldn't call this my HG mascara. The SA told me that I could keep reapplying throughout the day if need be with this mascara, but I didn't find that to be the case. It clumps my lashes when I put on more than 2 coats. I only paid $10 for this and the firebird mascara duo and am glad I didn't pay full price. It's an ok mascara, but I don't think I'll repurchase.

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Dark Kiss

This has become my fave B&BW scent. This scent is dark, spicy and sweet. I purchased the candle, oil, and wallflower so that my house can smell like it. I really like that this scent is long lasting. I have the hand cream and by itself, it truly stands out. Hours after applying it, I still get asked what I'm wearing. Will definitely be stocking up on this scent!

Scrubs -Fresh - Brown Sugar Body Polish

Everytime I mention to a sales rep that I am looking for a great body scrub, I'm always recommended this product. I finally decided to try it, and I must say...my skin hasn't been this soft and smooth since I was a baby! Although the packaging says it's safe to use everyday, I don't find it necessary because my skin still feels like butter 3 days after using it. I don't particularly care for the smell. When I think of brown sugar, I think of a cinnamony dark, spicy scent. The scent of this product is rather light and fruity smelling. But the results of using this product far outweigh the smell. Also, the granules don't dissolve and are rather large, but I really feel as though this scrub does an excellent job of exfoliating and my skin has a glow to it. I apply this scrub before showering on dry skin to get real exfoliation. This product is also pricey, but around the holiday time, Sephora sells sets of the Brown Sugar line, so I got this scrub, a lotion, and perfume roller ball, for $50. Will definitely repurchase!

Moisturizers -Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer SPF 15

Started using this when I noticed that the Aveeno Positively Ageless w/SPF 15 moisturizer was actually drying my skin out. This moisturizer is nice and I like that it doesn't leave a white cast over my face, as most SPF-laced moisturizers do. The consistency of the product is very soft and it goes on smoothly. This product hasn't broken me out and appears to calm my oft irritated skin. I notice that my skin appears a bit dewy after several hours of wearing this though, which some people may not care for, but to me--especially now that it's getting cold outside, it appears that I have a healthy glow... and I like that look. Will repurchase.

Cleansers -Aveeno - Positively Ageless exfoliating cleanser

I tend to buy products that have very little product in the bottle but cost a lot! I read about this product in Elle Magazine and am glad that I considered trying it. I have sensitive skin that reacts to everything, but I've had no issues with using this product. I use it once a day (in the morning) and am very pleased with how smooth my skin is afterwards. I wear makeup and smooth skin is key when applying foundation. The tiny granules have not stripped my skin, and the scent of the cleanser is great too. This is an affordable cleanser/exfoliator that does what it's supposed to. This is definitely a staple in my beauty product kit.
