I have been in search of the perfect foundation for several years now. I have craters for pores and awful dark circles under my eyes and have never found a foundation that would cover well and not look cakey. I may have finally found my HG! My skin looks so natural with this foundation! My pores aren't nearly as noticeable, which is a HUGE deal. It doesn't quite cover my circles, though, so the search for a good concealer continues. The scent is quite strong, but for me, it isn't bad. Just brings back lots of memories as this is the foundation that my mother always wore when I was growing up. So far, I love this foundation!

Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colour Riche - Target Red

After many months of searching for that perfect red everyday lippy, I finally found Target Red. It's a perfect red for me and not too overpowering. I usually prefer a more matte lipstick, but it isn't too glossy, just has a bit of shimmer to it. There are just a couple of things that keep me from giving it a 5 rating: the color isn't very pigmented, so I have to use quite a bit to get the color right; it also doesn't have great staying power and has to be reapplied often. The perfect red color and the price make up for it, though. Now, I can save my MAC Russian Red for more special occasions since it is quite a bit more pricey!

Hair Color -Clairol - Natural Instincts in 28 Nutmeg Dark Brown

I have been using Nutmeg on my hair for a couple of years now and love it! I have quite a bit of gray, but it covers them very well for a semi-permanent color. I do have to leave it on a little longer than the directions recommend and also find that it colors my grays better when applied to dry rather than damp hair (directions say to apply to damp hair. Strange.) The color is a very natural looking dark brown that I really love. My hair tends to pull up red when colored, and after trying several drugstore brands, this is the only one that did not turn reddish. This is also the only color that didn't leave my hair a dry pile of dull looking hay. It is always shiny, soft, and in very good condition. I will continue using NI until it does not cover my grays anymore, which I hope will never happen! :)
