I got the Midnight Violet as well. Nice color, but the pencil is hard and does not glide on smoothly at all. Difficult to get an even line; you must smudge the line after if you want it to look ok...
I have just started using the WhiteStrips so i can't comment on their effectiveness yet -- but, I will say that I have no problems with them slipping off. My advice is: -don't brush before applying these -don't dry your teeth before applying these I think the saliva helps them stick. Kinda like rubber cememt -- you have to apply the sticky stuff to both surfaces before sticking something together. In this case, you got the sticky gel on the strip and sticky saliva on your teeth. Voila, a nice cohesion! (They even say on the box, try not to brush first). Also, put 'em on and forget about 'em. Don't constantly play with them and move your lips around! I'll let you know how they actually work in a few days :)
Fragrances -Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier Perfumes - Vocalise

Vocalise starts out very sweet and fruity. To me it smells a bit like raspberries. After about an hour though it mellows, and while I still smell red fruit, there is a nice musk undertone as well.
I wore this every day when I visited Singapore for a few weeks. It smells like a rich exotic flower which made me feel at home in the humid, tropical climate. It is very sweet and creamy and if I had to relate it to something edible, I'd say it smells the way circus peanut candy tastes!
Smells a lot like my favorite drink -hot steamed milk with di saronno amaretto, sugar, and cinnamon. mmmmm!
Lip Gloss -Delux Beauty - Elastic Lip Gloss [DISCONTINUED]

I guess it's called elastic gloss because of the springy texture in the pot. Very unusual. And it's not glossy (ie shiny) on, but it's like satin on your lips and the color I have (Dean) is a really lovely pink on. It looks like you just have these naturally pretty lips. If you want hi-shine gloss don't get it. If you want a pretty color you can wear all day without your hair sticking in it and with a satiny feel, this is great. One of my favorite staples.
Fragrances -L'Occitane - Neroli EDP (L'Oranger line)

I see what the other reviewers below mean - this perfume is harsh and chemically-cologney when first sprayed. I regretted it when I first tried it on in the store too, but about an hour later I kept getting wafts of a delicious, warm and sexy scent and was surprised to discover it was coming from my own wrist. The Neroli EDP had changed completely! It morphed into a really nice sweet and spicy vanilla that was long-lasting and had great sillage. It's well worth waiting through the initial notes for the lovely drydown.
