These lip glacees are all beautiful wearable colours and flattering for all age groups. The lip glosses arent too gloopy/sticky and they come with a nice applicator. I love the subtle Pink Tulle shade, a great colour for everyday/work. It needs re applying a lot but then so do all my other lip glosses. Only one gripe...the packaging......it leaked in my make up bag as there is a small gap between the lid and the tube. It should seal better.
I just got this mascara free with Tatler mag. Such a bonus! The small size is v convenient when off on travels etc. For such a small tube it seems to work really well in curling my lashes and fanning them out well but i have to agree with those who said it clumped a bit. I think you need to practise many times to perfect the art of applying it using the correct side of the brush. I dont have time to faff around applying it for ages before work but the good news is that once on it didnt flake or smudge. I dont know if I would purchase it again instead of Doll Eyes as I have the full size Doll Eyes. A store assistant told me it does all that all the other Lancome mascaras do and more...so i guess that makes all the other mascaras in this set redundant?! For me the difference between this mascara and the others is that it curled more, it was darker and it was clumpier. My usual doll eyes just looked lighter, more natural and still really "cute". I like both
i can understand why mac products are the pros first port of call......amazing choice of true colours. Sadly they didnt work for me though as on my mature skin they were really drying. One time I got a slight allergic reaction akin to a temporary trout pout lasting a day..though some would say that would be a bonus, in a way it did look quite nice but.....the feeling of really dry lips has put me off purchasing again. The weather is cold and windy here and i NEED to feel moisturised
I love lancome lipsticks, the formula feels light on my lips and even the reds don't "bleed" on my mature lips. I love Lancome and Dior lip products equally.
Eyeliner -Yves Saint Laurent - Shocking Effet Faux Cils Eyeliner (Stylo/Pen)

i would definitely buy this eyeliner again. The shape of the nib on this "pen" type of eyeliner isnt too narrow or too bendy or too inflexible either. There are other pens on the market but i find them all too inflexible . This is the only one I got to work o.k. on older skin without dragging and wobbling! This has staying power unlike khol pencil which tends to smudge easily on my skin (though pencil may be better for the "just got out of bed" look this pen type of liner is better for a striking directional look....depends what you're after. I just wanted precise definition of the eye shape, which its perfect for.
another very expensive product but a high quality one. It lasts well and doesnt smudge. I havent had any eye irritation either so thats a major reason to make a repeat purchase.
Lip Gloss -Christian Dior - Addict Ultra-Gloss Reflect

A very expensive designer product and one that is worth every penny. This gloss is very wearable due to a range of flattering colours, a youthful look, a fresh taste and non sticky texture compared to other leading brands some of which are very gloopy and sticky
This is a very expensive designer product and i received it as a Christmas gift from my family and am delighted with it. I have mature, crepey wrinkled skin round my eyes which I thought only cosmetic surgery could rescue but Dior works miracles for an optical illusion of smooth skin and beautiful symmetrical eye shapes. I had a Department Store MUA apply this for me and teach me how to do it at home so I am 100% happy with the look and feel of the product on my skin. It just glides on, blends beautifully and doesnt crease. It is a satiny product so it doesnt sparkle too much, neither is it too matte which can look chalky and dull. I recommend these eyeshadows for women of all ages, especially the elderly, who find they are more limited in terms of colours and textures, if they want a really flattering look
I will start with the positives....the name! The packaging!! Regarding the product itself it didnt flake or smudge but the look on my lashes was nice, average, o.k. More "trip out to the supermarket" than "special occasion/party". That was the disappointment for me as the name, Diorshow, implies that the make up looks really glamorous, but for me, the only thing that looked particularly glam was the packaging. I dont mind spending money on a unique product of quality but the look DOES have to be really unique to warant such expenditure on something which needs replacing every 3 months.
I was sucked into buying this product 100% due to the advertising campaign having felt that it would be a laugh to look like a pretty china doll, if only for a laugh. Once applied the product really achieved this look for me, I thought the look was really sweetly pretty...no OTT glamour or falseness, just really pretty. I found the wand easier to use than other products and it didnt flake or smudge. I love the pretty packaging with the roses on it. It was so expensive, I then didnt have money to buy foundation, only one other product (I bought a Lancome coral/red lipstick. But just the mascara on eyes and bright lipstick, produced a fresh modern look.
