Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Mega Plush Waterproof

I bought this mascara because one of my best friends uses it, and she has gorgeous lashes. Mine are long and dark -- just not as thick as I'd like them. Since this was in the Volum' Express line, I thought that it'd give a little extra 'oomph' in that aspect, but I was sadly disappointed. It was ok. Mega Plush gave me somewhat longer and thicker lashes after curling, and at least two coats -- but the results were still very natural. This is NOT a mascara I would wear if I was going out, but I will wear it to classes etc. In my experience, mascara tends to look differently on people, and this was just not the formula for me.

This is one of my favorite quads, the colors are gorgeous! They aren't to shimmery or to matte, they last forever, and you can create natural or smokey looks. Perfect!

This quad is perfect for a very natural look. I like that I can wear this without looking like I'm wearing tons of eyeshadow. These Revlon quads do crease though, so you really need a good primer.

Lip Gloss -New York Color - Liquid Lip Shine in Prospect Pink

I was really excited about this gloss after being so impressed with Brighton Beach Peach, but this was a disappointment. This color looks really cute in the package, but is way to frosty. You are better off not wearing any gloss than this stuff.

This is now my favorite gloss! It isn't sticky, it smells nice, and lasts forever! The color is perfect for people like me who prefer the natural look or need a nude lip to go with dramatic eyeshadow. :)

This is a so so quad. The colors are extremely sheer and are difficult to build up. (Though the packaging says its a 'perfect pastel', so maybe that is the idea). All in all, I would absolutely love this quad if it were more pigmented.

This quad is SUPER shimmery, so if you don't enjoy shimmer then this definitely isn't for you. The colors are all very pretty, but are very sheer. That being said, it is possible to build up the color if you are willing to work at it. I personally love this quad and have been using it for a simple, shimmery look. I think this is perfect for summer!

I love this eyeshadow! Elegant is a very light gold color. This eyeshadow is extremely sparkley and pigmented. However, it does crease, so primer is a must.

Powder -E.L.F. - Mineral Foundation - Fair

This is a very nice, light foundation. It stays on throughout the day and doesn't look powdery. The coverage is very light though, so you probably won't like it if you need a lot of foundation. This foundation is perfect for summer and it only costs $5!
