Styling Products -L'Oreal - Smooth Intense Anti-Frizz Serum

The is a great product. Having tried many serums from the salon, Moroccan oil and anything else you can think of I can honestly say this is the best value for money. I have fine hair and this product smooth my hair beautifully, helps stop tangling and ads shine without weighing it down. I usually put 2 pumps in my hair when wet before blow drying and another pump once I finish curling which helps make the curls look polished and tidy. The product is also great to keep in your handbag for a day at the beach or to quickly tidy hair before after work drinks. Highly recommend!
Shampoo -John Frieda - Sheer Blonde Color Renew Tone-Restoring Shampoo
makeuploveraus 9/26/2012 2:54:00 AM
John Frieda is a great brand. Middle of the range price, not quite as expensive as your salon but very close to its quality. This the perfect product for a blonde who has just spent a week at the beach and is finding the brassy/yellow tones shining through a little too much. On one use (I wash my hair twice) hair is transformed to its former glory. The colour deposit is perfect. Not too much causing those awful grey tones. Just the right amount delivering that beautiful, crisp icy blonde look. I recommend this to anyone as an occasional toner.
Bronzers -Chanel - Soleil Tan de Chanel 907 Sable Beige
makeuploveraus 9/26/2012 2:50:00 AM
This is the high end bronzer I buy when I have the spare cash to throw around. This product feels and looks luxurious, while living up to its brandís name. A natural sun kissed glow is delivered with a hint of pink flush adding to the natural look. This product is something Iím sure you would have found in Marilynís make-up bag if she were still around. If you are will to spend the money I definitely recommend this product.
Bronzers -Clinique - True Bronze pressed powder bronzer in Sunblushed
makeuploveraus 9/26/2012 2:45:00 AM
This is beautiful product both quality and packaging. The beautifully presented bronzer is in a very cute circular compact which fits nicely into your bag and doubles as a mirror. The product is really good quality, very natural, well pigmented with lovely illuminating qualities. This is a brozer which is good quality for a going to the higher end of make-up brands without overdoing it. This product goes the distance. You could easily have this for 12 months and still not be empty! Recommend this to all.
For the price fit me bronzer is pretty good. The colour is nice and natural, goes on smoothly and has a perfect balance between matte and gold reflects. I find this bronzer easy for day or night and not too pigmented making it quite easy to control. The little brush it comes with isnít great quality but you can get past that for the price. I generally use my big bronzing brush and itís no big hassle. I recommend this product if you are looking for a low price medium quality bronzer.
This bronzer was not for me, it didnít suit my skin tone at all. I also found there were too many light reflective pigments which made daywear difficult. This bronzer to me is just average which is surprising given it comes from such a high-profile brand. The packaging is also rather inconvenient. Yes the value for money is great because itís a generous amount however I canít take this out in my clutch at night. I also found the bronzer to be a flat tone of brown; it needed more warmth even though I have underlying yellow tones. If you are thinking of buying this bronzer get the SA to test it on you first as itís not quite the typical bronzer
This is a nice everyday bronzer. It would suit fair or olive tones. The packaging is the productís only downfall. The brush provided is not great for application as it tends to go on quiet heavy handed. The square box makes getting another bronzing brush in frustrating. I tend to get too much product and have to bang off my brush, therefore wasting product. I do recommend this product as the bronzer is lovely. I just wish they would change the packaging!
Lipstick -Australis - Colour Inject Mineral Lipstick

I keep coming back to Australis. They provide good quality products at a reasonable price. These lipsticks are no exception. I now have 3 colours and each are just as great. Glides on smoothly, looks beautiful, well pigmented, creamy texture and lasts pretty well. I also like to team it with a gloss to give it a bit of a shine. All of the colours in this range are amazing, especially the hot pinks. Australis lipsticks are worth it for the money you pay!
Bronzers -Australis - Jumbo Mineral Bronzing Powder
makeuploveraus 9/24/2012 6:53:00 PM
This product provides a natural looking sun kissed colour. It does have small gold reflects but nothing too shimmery. I tend to try new bronzers quiet regularly and found this one to be just as good as my Clinique and Estee Lauder which goes to show you donít always have to spend allot to find something good. The only thing I donít like about this product is its size. It doesnít exactly fit nicely into a clutch. They do have another bronzer which comes in a mirror in a compact. I donít think itís exactly the same but they are fairly similar. I recommend this product if you are looking for a nice natural bronzer that wonít blow the budget.
Lip Gloss -Australis - Colour Inject Mineral Lipgloss (ALL)
makeuploveraus 9/24/2012 6:48:00 PM
I love this lipgloss line. Beautiful colour range, good quality product and always stock available. I have now bought this in most colours. Each have a pleasant smell, stay as long as you expect a lipgloss to and provide a lovely glassy shine. I have to admit these are a little sticky but it doesnít bother me too much. Most are well pigmented or build easily with a few coats. These are just as good quality as the big brands like Mac. I definitely recommend you give them a try.
I canít say I loved this lipstick. I was expecting quite a natural nude and it looks quiet orange on me. The smell is pleasant but a little overpowering. I also donít think the staying power was that great for a lipstick thatís meant to be long lasting. I have never tried a Rimmel lipstick and will not be running back in a hurry. The price of them are reasonable but the quality leaves a little to be desired.
Powder -Bare Escentuals - bare Minerals Foundation #2/#3 & Mineral Veil
makeuploveraus 9/24/2012 2:03:00 AM
For the price this product isnít worth it. The coverage is okay but looks quiet chalky, the staying power isnít anything to write home about and the colour range is okay. ID minerals are generally a nice brand if you are willing to pay for quality. Unfortunately for them the quality factor doesnít exist in this product. If I compare it to Youngblood it isnít half as good. This product to me is no different from your 20 dollar supermarket bought powder which you expect low quality from. I donít recommend this as itís not worth the $$.
Foundations -Napoleon Perdis - China Doll Foundation
makeuploveraus 9/24/2012 1:55:00 AM
This foundation seems to have a fairly good reputation among friends. Unfortunately for me it didnít quite pan out. Firstly the colour range leaves allot to be desired for an olive but not orange completion. The SA kept pulling out either orange tones or pink tones neither of which are me! Having settled on something I felt looked okay I took myself home with a tester to see if I wanted to purchase the full tube. Thank goodness I didnít because I looked at my face a few hours later to find a very orange and patchy looking face. This product highlights my imperfections, is very thick and unnatural looking on its own. With a powder over the top itís a little better but nothing to rave about. Sorry Napoleon, I will not be purchasing this one again.
Primer/ Corrector -Napoleon Perdis - Auto Pilot Pre-Foundation Skin Primer
makeuploveraus 9/24/2012 1:45:00 AM
This product is a nice indulgence. It does do what it claims however I feel there are other alternatives which are far less expensive (australis). This product helps calm my skin prior to application and does make my foundation last throughout the day. It also has a lovely smell which makes me feel pampered! Its only downfall is the price so if youíre prepared to fork out the funds go for it.
I love this product! Having previously used Napoleon Perdis for 50 dollars a pop I decided to try out a more affordable primer. This primer is just beautiful. Hardly any scent, glides on your skin and provides a lovely palette to apply your foundation. I also find this calms my skin prior to application and helps it last throughout the day. This product also works well in application over a moisturiser. I also find it goes a long way, that 12 dollars just keeps on giving!
