Fragrances -Christian Dior - Poison

This is a fragrance for the brave. While I do not like this scent I will give it some stars for lasting power, complexity, and cute packaging. This perfume smells like tuberose on steroids when first sprayed and it eventually calms down to a spicy red wine and lighter tuberose scents. It eventually then dies down to a black licorice sweet smelling scent. I imagine a powerful, bold, flamboyant individual to wear this .

I have not purchased this product but I will say if u like Vs strawberries and champagne then this is a close dead ringer . It smells warm, carmely(lol if that is even a word!),sweet like strawberry mamba candy and like fizzy champagne on a cozy night. It's kind of pricey but it lasted over 4/5 hours(at least) on me. I would possibly purchase because this is my fav Dior scent!

Fragrances -The Body Shop - Neroli Jasmine EdT

I am really disappointed to say the least with this product. Let me start by saying that I am not going to judge this pefume by the customer service I recieved by TBS(it would be another entire review),but simply from the product itself. Plain and simple, this product smells EXACTLY like another reviewer stated: Victoria's Secret's Amber Romance. When I asked around about this product from TBS sales associates(I had to order over the phone because there is no body shop around me), they made it seem as if this perfume was very exclusive and unique to itself, when in reality it's not. If you want something like this and have no body shop around you, purchase VS's Amber Romance for an exact dupe. This smells like a spicy baby powder type scent and it fades on me within 2-3 hours.I won't be purchasing this again and probably won't purchase from TBS anymore in general.

Gels/Soaps -LUSH - Rock Star

I got this as a sample with my recent lush order and I must say I am a bit impressed honestly. Smells just like bubble gum and cream soda pop. Lingers on your skin after the bath(I'm not sure how long this will last so if it changes I will update) and lathers very well. I may have to make this my next purchase :)

Bath Treatments -LUSH - The Comforter Bubble Bar

What Can I say about this product?? It did a pretty good job as far as I am concerned. First off, I got mine from the Uk website,so maybe it may differ in the U.S. than it does in the Uk.Now on to the actual product, it smelled(Imo) just like blueberry pancakes and it was a pretty big sized bar.It turned the bath water pink and I got a nice amount of bubbles with about a fair sized piece (better than the naked desserts bubble bar) and lasted for at least 10-15 min(i would have probably lasted til about 20 but I wanted to get out so I wouldn't really know). Overall I could only imagine how lush the bath would have been if I had candles lit, music playing, and a wine cooler next to me ;D. Def nice and may purchase again.

Gels/Soaps -Unlisted Brand - Naked desserts pink ribbon awareness soap
rated 2 of 5
makeuploca 10/16/2009 2:39:00 AM

I have only used this soap once,so my review could possibly later change(not too sure on that though). When I first received this soap, I definitely thought of tootsie pops because of the white chocolate/cherries smell and I like it alot but I felt as though this smell was somewhat familiar(not sure what though). The problems with this soap is the smell that i get when washing with it is kind of a urine type smell(maybe i don't feel too good today but that's what it kind of smelled like) and it didn't really lather. Also it didn't linger on me when i got of the tub or even during the bath :(. The price was lovely(2.99 for it) and the initial smell is yummy, and the cause was all the reason to buy it(supports breast cancer for the Susan G Komen foundation) but that's about it. I'm going to give it more tries and I will come back with an update if anything changes.

Bath Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Naked Desserts-Pink Lemonade
rated 3 of 5
makeuploca 10/16/2009 2:32:00 AM

Ok I am the first reviewer on this product and I must say that I am a tiny bit disappointed. First off,the product does deliver what it says to a certain extent. Smells just like pink lemonade, is a fairly large amount of a bubble bar(you could probably get about 8-10 bubble baths),and it does create bubbles. The only problems I have is that you don't really smell the pink lemonade too much while it's in the bath and the bubbles last for about 5-10 minutes(if your lucky for 10). The pricing was cool so i don't really feel too negative about this product and I may possibly repurchase again.

Gels/Soaps -LUSH - Honey I Washed the Kids soap
rated 3 of 5
makeuploca 10/15/2009 6:48:00 PM

Honestly, I'm not sure if I will repurchase this item again, but I must say it has such a lovely smell. When I first smelled it,I was kind of turned off by the strong scent, but after awhile of using it,the scent completely grew on to me. At first it has this honey/citrus type scent but once you use it a few times,it develops this buttery caramel type scent that smells so sweet(Couldn't really detect any toffee smell in it). As for the performance of the soap,i cut it into 3 pieces(it was 3.5 oz) and i had a smaller piece left over and in total I believe I will get about 11-14 baths with this entire soap(keep in mind I am a bigger/pregnant girl,so i have more body to cover than some, lol). The soap really didn't lather too much and the scent didn't linger too long post-bath. I felt the only thing worth it was it's beautiful smell. This soap is not going to make a construction worker who has been working for 8 hours smell great, but it something that I would personally use for when I'm not going to really be doing any heavy activity, seeing as how the soap isn't too strong in terms of lingering.

Bath Treatments -LUSH - Melting Marshmallow Moment
rated 3 of 5
makeuploca 10/10/2009 1:32:00 AM

This product really smells amazing when you take it out of the package and smell it. Smells just like circus peanuts(no lie),but the issue is,is that it really doesn't do anything. It just kind of gives a wift of the product and really that is AFTER you take your bath . It's definitely over priced and probably one of Lush's hot/not so hot products. Wouldn't re-purchase again.

Fragrances -Kenneth Cole - New York Women's EDP

My mom brought me this perfume a few years back and I had nothing else to wear, so I figured "Let's give this a try".Bad Idea.Bad Idea.Did I say "BAD IDEA". This perfume gave me a bad headache and smelled very masculine(not nice masculine like some Burberry's and Armani colonges, but overbearing "I AM HERE" cologne). Seriously(not trying to exaggerate)this cologne gives me a headache just thinking about it. Maybe it meshed badly with my skin but I was completely ill wearing it.

Ok ladies/gentlemen...I don't know where to begin on this product. First off, the price of this perfume is amazing(at my Wal-Mart, it's between $13-$20)which is def not a bad deal(the bottle is medium sized). Next,on to the best part is the scent. Earlier today, I had put on Bath And Body Work's Vanilla Bean Noel lotion and 4 hours after that, I sprayed this. My first thought was "ok....a bit strong and bug sprayish smelling ". Anyway, once this settled into my skin(which didn't take long) the smell was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. It def is not an offensive smell(well, when you first spray it, it is a bit strong of course) but the after effect is soooooo worth it. I think women should def invest in this perfume because the scent is very soft, feminine and clean. Some may find it a bit too grandma-ish, but I swear, I am 20 years old and I find this scent so seductive. I love those type of soft scents that when you get a smell of it, you go insane and you have to find out who is wearing it. To me, this perfume seems to be that. The lasting power is fairly ok(i live in a hot state and i sparyed it on later in the day, so I wasn't "just hop out of the bath" fresh. The fact that this lasted for about 7 hours(with just one spray) says something to me. I haven't purchased it yet, but on my payday on Friday, this will def be purchased :) EDIT:Ehhh I've grew tired of this.Maybe it's due to my pregnancy but the smell just kind of messes with my nose :(.*sigh*back to the drawing board.

Fragrances -Philosophy - Amazing Grace cologne

I gave a review on pleasures by Estee Lauder, and like that scent, this scent was one of my favorites and that says alot coming from a picky fragrance picker(Not a big fan of Escada.Vera Wang, ect). When I first spray this(everytime) it comes off as strong and kind of bug-sprayish smelling, but once it settles, O-M-G(lol). It smelllllllllssss aaamazing. I can't even describe its scent except for the fact that if floral, feminine scents aren't you're thing, then this perfume is def not for you.

I've have to give this product it props. Although I don't own anymore of this, I will never forget this perfume and will def re-purchase if I can't find a new nice scent for cheaper. When I first had this perfume sprayed on me, I though "bleeeh" too strong of a scent and I was hoping that I wouldn't smell too bad after the perfume settled. Well let me tell you I was in a shock when I caught a beautiful, seductive, soft, feminine wift of something. I kept trying to search where it was coming from and I discovered it was coming from me. Now when I say I am ULTRA picky about my scents(i have only 2 and I not really liking one of them right now),I MEAN it. Anyway, when I realized this scent was me I literally fell in love with the scent and had to buy me a huge bottle when I got my paycheck. I brought one and feel in love with it. Needless to say that was about 2/3 years ago(gosh I feel old) and I def would repurchase again, but I like to venture out so im trying to find a perfume that can recapture that feeling I had when I smelled pleasures(Amazing Grace did that for me, but like pleaures, I am running out). This perfume(like many of Estee Lauders) goes strong on at first and if you aren't a fan of the floraly, feminine scents(which some refer to as "grandma" scent, then I would avoid this scent, but I can honestly say that with me being 20(about to be 21) I am completely in love with the feminine, seductive, scents that you have to catch a wift of to appreiciate :).

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex SPF 15 Normal/Dry Skin
rated 2 of 5
makeuploca 4/21/2009 8:50:00 PM

Oh Lord...give me the strength and words for this review. First off, I will talk about the pros of this product: 1.) It's fairly inexpensive(around $10/$12) depending on where you live, where you get it from and if you get it on sale or not. 2.)It does stay on for quite awhile 3.)It's easy to obtain(walmart,Ulta,Walgreens,Rite Aid,you name it). This is where the good part stops. First of all, this foundation coloring seems to cater more towards pink undertones(which isn't a huge issue for yellow undertones sometimes.I use nw40 in scultp and it looks good even though my coloring is nc40).Next, the foundation, no matter what i apply with it(moisturizer, primer)it comes off looking unnatural and cakey. I thought "Maybe it's me", "Maybe I am putting on too much".WRONG. I lightly applied it with my 109 brush first, and I didn't get too much coverage at all(heck my skin is fairly even and clear to where i can were msf spf 15 foundation*which is SHEER*,but the fact that this couldn't really do too much for me, makes me wonder about others???).Next I washed it off because it looked too cakey and re-applied it with my fingers.Once again, it came off looking cakey. I'll keep trying with this foundation but ever since I've brought it(which was month ago), I have found it to be collecting dust in my collection. I can't even use this foundation as a back-up. Maybe I will search for another color in this when I get some more $$ but i don't really even want to bother trying with this when i get these results.
