I <3 this Beauty Powder...I first tried it when it was from the Nordstroms 2009 LE Look Box Graphique Garden Collection...I used it then all over and it gave me a great sheen. Was so happy that they brought it back this year in the Liberty of London Collection. Today I used it as a Highlighter and really defined those areas. The packaging on this is too cute!
Since every store seem to have sold out with this line...I decided to purchase this along with that Oil Bronzer Shimmer stuff and Thrills Lipstick online...Hey they offered a free Next Day Air Ship. So excited to get it, and when I did it was a bit lighter than it look'd online..Totally different pink. So I had to try it on. It's pretty but it wasn't like WOW and I need to go and try to get a back-up tube! Cute Design on Tube Tho.
LUVs: -How it refreshes and sets in your makeup I use this stuff before and after applying makeup. Yo can see the difference once you do the final spray and the after effect. A definitely Must Have in your MU Haul. They should sell like a refill supply since everyone uses it sooo much.
Likes: -How it comes in a compact -Amazing glow with Mineralize Powder on top Hate: -It doesn't last as long as liquid foundation...Liquid stays on longer and looks more porcelain like and the supply on this stuff runs out quicker than the liquid. -Cost - the Sponge that comes with it, not a fan, i still use a brush to apply.
I have baby fine hair that gets oily at the roots if not washed daily. After reading reviews and being mentioned by my cousin that Sally's Beauty Supply carries a Dry Shampoo...I decided to give it a try which turned out to being one of the best discoveries for me ever. I tested this product after i took a nap...instanly, it removed the oil-y-ness from my roots and my hair was full of VOLUME, like "Porn-Status" BIG hair, LOL and leaving it feeling refreshed. A major PLUS, it is inexpensive and smells good!
Blush -MAC - Beauty Powder Blush in Tippy (Hello Kitty)

so at first i was thrilled when i 1st purchased this...thinking it was what the MA had put on when i got my makeup done for my birthday during the launch of the HK line...but it really was fun & games...so i kept this anyhow and bought fun & games as well...so here it's now june, so yeah i'm a lil tanner...so i tried on tippy today n omg...i looked sunburned! i even added tahitian sand beauty powder on top and still i wasn't feelin the color on me...i luv the packaging however, and the color of the pink, but just not on me right now! it wasn't so bad when i tried it in february but fun & games is still my ultimate favorite of the two blushes from HK mac.
Treatments -Rene Furterer - Complexe 5 Regenerating Extract

i agree with the other reviewer...this stuff didn't do anything for me...pretty pricey product and don't like the smell of it.
Shampoo -Rene Furterer - Forticea Stimulating Shampoo
makeupjnky20 6/24/2009 12:30:00 AM
well, this little bottle is pretty pricey...i really didn't get a big impact after trying one bottle of it....usually u don't until u try maybe about 4 bottles of a product to notice any improvements...n yes, my hair felt dryer after using this shmpoo. i've tried tha whole hair system treatments that was like $122 + the shampoo n other stuff i probably spent over $200 on rene furterer products...again, i wasn't really thrilled after the 1st set of treatments...still iffy if i should continue on purchasing.
the 1st 2 bottles of this stuff i really didn't notice a difference except that tingling on my scalp....but now trying another set for the 3rd time..i like how it does make my hair feel clean, bouncy & volumed and my hair does feel thicker! i was one of those who's hair got thinner after having a child...the packaging or bottles of this product could be better! the scent of it, does remind me of an old lady...lol, but it does the trick!
it easy to work with...the brush could've been better...but it does the trick,,,it's however, hard to use on my bottom lashes ..
Eye Makeup Remover -Mary Kay - Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover
makeupjnky20 6/15/2009 9:23:00 PM
i luv this stuff...it removes my eyemakeup with one swipe...no burning to the eyes either...the best eyemakeup remover ever! the pricng is ok too!
Pressed Powders -MAC - Beauty Powder - Pretty Baby
makeupjnky20 6/15/2009 9:12:00 PM
i was more drawn to tahitian sand to be honest...yes, i use it as a powder all over on top of my foundation, but it really looks gorgeous over foundation and pink rebel lustre drops. i've been using it frequently now instead of tahitian sand.
i was 1st mixing this in with my foundation then applying it with a flat brush....but you get a better impact of the pearliness when u 1st apply your foundation and then add a layer of this on top! i like it a lot! it gives u that add'l ummmph...but this stuff is sooo pricy for the size of it! too bad it's sold out everywhere...i want an extra bottle to last me for the summer!
Polishes -MAC - Violet Fire Style Warriors Collection
makeupjnky20 6/15/2009 8:44:00 PM
i was sooo excited when i saw this with the style warriors collection...but did not meet up to my expectations @ all... i tried like 2 swipes n it was still not getting a good build up...opi or maybelline probably has a better quality than violet fire...i exchanged it for anothe purple rite lipstick :)
purple is my favorite color n finally a purple that looks great, but also easy to work with. definitely a prettier purple than the creme de violet that was in the rose romance collection. looks great with creme royale eyeshadow n lucky tom from the hk line...i think the packaging of the plastic tube could've been better like being in leopard or zebra print rather than the outer packaging.
